I had a water pressure issue and called had no idea what was going on. I got Mike's number from a…read morefriend of mine and called him on a Wednesday night and he answered the phone right away. Told him my problem and he came out on Thursday to look at it and diagnosed the problem. He told me he would email me a quote as soon as possible. On Friday morning I had no water at all. When I got to the office, I had Mike's quote in my email and he indicated that he could have a crew out early in the week. I thanked him and told him I had no water at all and he called me within 45 minutes and told me he would have a crew out within the hour. Sure enough within an hour, his crew was there and also Mike and they got to work. I had water and pressure about 3 hours later. I can not express enough how great it was to work with this company and the people made it even better!!!!!! I would highly recommend Mike and Chris and all of Mike LaLone Well Service to anyone. The 2 guy's who showed up were very nice, and confirmed my diagnosis. They replaced the pump and got us going in 2 hours. A textbook replacement. The work was done well. The only concern is they were very expensive. $1500. for labor, plus the new components were marked up more than 100% each. We were in a situation with no water. I should have done my homework. After the fact, I got estimates from other companies I had called, and could have saved $800.

I requested a quote for an irrigation well and had to call back several times to get in touch with…read moresomeone from Keller. They sent someone out to do a site visit and I explain what I was looking for and where I thought the well could go and I was looking to do before the ground thaws in the spring. He did not offer much for information put left and said they would send a quote in a couple of days. After a couple of weeks and couple of phone calls they stated in a phone call that they did not have the resources in the spring to do the job and were declining to quote. I told her that I was not in a hurry and could have it done whenever they were more freed up. She called back and said they would like to do another site visit and we schedule for Friday for the second site visit. Nobody came Friday and no phone to reschedule. Rodney from Keller called me the following Thursday and came out and showed him where I was looking to put the well and he told me it would be difficult to get the trucks there and suggested a place in front of the house about 50 feet from the street that would work better and that I could cover the well cap with some sort of landscape decoration. Also the trench to the house from the well would now be 5 feet instead of 65 feet and dig site would now be away from most of the utilities compared to the original place requested to come into the house. This would also save on money. I liked his plan and Rodney was very helpful and informative compared to the first person. He also recommended to do the well digging now in January since the ground was frozen and I agreed. Rodney said he could have the estimate to me in 3 days. He suggest that I call misdig to get location of water and sewer line to know the exact area in the front to drill the well. I requested misdig services and they were out the next day on Friday and marked the utilities. I then received and email on Friday from Keller stating "After our second site visit to look over your irrigation well estimate request, we determined we must decline offering you an estimate for this project. We do not have the resources to take on a project of this magnitude." This is a 50ft well with a 5 foot trench to house in a much easier accessible area and they indicate a "large magnitude project". That makes no sense if they no longer drill wells but only repair wells they should change their name to Keller Well Repair. They wasted my time and the city's time and overall if feel that they are very unprofessional. The project being too large in magnitude is complete made up and I know it and they know it. Rodney did tell me that a lot of well digging companies no longer do residential irrigation wells and I thought it was an odd comment at the time, so I suspect they only want to do the larger commercial jobs that they make more money from and would not state that in the first place to save face. Would not recommend this company.

Labor Day week and we had house guests coming in from Florida. Vincent took the called, I sent him a j-peg of our system, gave me a quote over the phone, showed up within the hour, had all the tools and new parts on his truck. He & Bill replaced the entire system, tank, pump and motor and were done in less then 2 hours. The installation and finished job was super professional and the price was exactly what Vince quoted. A few years ago we had a lightning strike that shut down our entire electrical and pumping system. They were out within hours and got us back up and operating. Today they came out and detected a hard-to-find electrical problem, fixed it quickly and charged a very reasonable price. I'd recommend them to anyone with a well pump issue.

Hartland Electric was hired to do the scheduled maintenance on my generator. A short time later…read morethe power went out, the generator went on but would not run properly, ran rough, and would not power the house. I contated Hartland Electric to come take a look and they referred me to a partner of theirs that does repairs instead. I scheduled the repair and when the technician arrived, within 5 minutes he found that one of the two spark plug wires was not reconnected after Hartland Electric did their maintenance. The cost of this unnecessary service call was over $100. I contacted Hartland Electric to inform them of their employees mistake in not reconnecting the spark plug wire, and they said they would look into it and call me back which they never did. Very poor and unethical customer service to not stand behind their work. I would recommend a different electrician!!

We purchased a whole house Generac generator from Hartland Electric in October of 2021 with a 10…read moreyear warranty. Hartland Electric claims to be a Generac authorized dealer. We had to pay for it up front, at that time. We were told it would be at least 6 months before it would be available. Eight months later on July 5, 2022 it was installed. It exercised weekly as it should have. Our first power outage was in late August. The generator worked as it should have according to the Mobil Link app. Imagine our surprise when we returned home only to find the outside cabinet covered in oil. When we opened the lid, the entire contents were covered with oil and black flecks. Upon contacting Hartland electric they came out and tried to clean up the mess. Jeff changed the oil and filter and let it run while he went to other calls. He came back 3 hours later and again, everything was covered with oil. He gave us a customer service phone number to Generac and washed his hands of us. Jeff and the owner (his wife) did not return any phone calls after that. Basically took our money and left us high and dry with a defective Generac Generator. Very poor customer service.

When we had a new…read moreissue with sediment in our water after they replaced our bladder tank, his son came back and in less than three minutes of "diagnosing" he told me I needed yet another $3,000 fix. He then proceeded to show me a video of "someone else's tank" to justify his repair. We have been hung up on by the owner, who fully supported his son's claim although he himself had never diagnosed or serviced our components. We had another honest well company come that did a full inspection and reported no issues with our well system. In actuality, we needed a new hot water heater.
