I love how each grade level has a whole separate wing and that 5th grade is totally off to themselves. The cafeteria is spacious and well organised. Their stage isn't huge but exceptionally prepared. The teachers present not all of them work at Williams all the time but they were super friendly helpful and supportive. The nurse called me days ahead of time to make sure I had the paperwork and medications ready in case my son had an asthma attack while he was there. He came home exuberant each and every day talking about what he had done and who he had played with - something he rarely ever does with his zoned school. If they operate like this during the normal school year I am envious of all the people who's children are lucky enough to attend this campus.

Anytime I call the bus barn it's an excuse. The last straw was today when my kids had to wait outside in the cold rain and the bus was almost 30 minutes late. And this previous Friday my kids didn't get on the bus until after 8 because the driver skipped us and didn't want to turn around so they sent a different bus completely. Their excuse to me was there's a sub driver. Absolutely ridiculous.

He excelled in academics. He was reading before 5 and after the Kinder program here, he was far ahead of other children his age. (which we did not realize until 1st grade). The director helped us locate schools with programs fitting for his GT level. He is wonderful in every aspect, from staying in touch with us and offering suggestions even after we were no longer attending the school. His teachers were amazing, patient and learned how he individually learned. They are a true Montessori school and not a glorified daycare. We miss everyone there truly and wish they had options thru high school. Our son was his best self when attending school here. They are a family business with professionalism beyond.

The week I started there was drama and chaos. The director and asst director claimed they were just toxic, bitter CO workers who would be "leaving" (fired) I didn't understand at that moment what in the world was going on. 3 months later, all those "toxic" ex employees weren't so crazy after all. They took advantage of my kindness even when I busted my butt working 12 hours. Cut hours, refused to hire an assistant for each lead teacher because we were "in ratio" which means 17 plus kids by yourself, not to mention the curriculum they make you do weekly that can never be incorporated because there's too many kids with 1 teacher. There was no structure, consistency, definitely no "learning" food is trash and cooked in the microwave. They don't care to make changes, unprofessional, calls their employees expletives, and expects you to be "professional, no gossiping" but it doesn't apply to them. They don't value good teachers/employees and this has been an on going cycle since they first opened. The kids best interest aren't put first and they talk bad about parents behind their back. The teaching staff is very dedicated, and I have seen my child transform in the time that he has been there. I have seen him listening more, sharing and learning basics (colors, numbers, shaper, months, days) way ahead of other kids his age. They follow the same schedule as the Cy-Fair school district. KatyGT is the third preschool we sent our daughter in and it's the best. the teachers are very thoughtful and full of love. my daughter was born in pandemic time, so she rarely contact with people. when she was 3 years old this year, we decided to send her to preschool, at first we send her to a big chain daycare close to our house, but she kept crying and crying .one day we observed outside the playground, we found she was almost crying out of control and nobody comforted her. the teachers just gossiped each other. Then we send her to another daycare, she also very nervous and anxious...... When we sent her to GT for the first day, she even didn't cry. Ms Min hold her for a long time and she hold her hand all the time. all the teachers there show their love to her. They even help her make good friend in her class. she didn't feel lonely and feels love around her. It's about one month since we send her to GT, Now she is excited to go to school everyday. she says she loves all the teachers there and all the teachers love her. it's the best decision we have made to send her to GT. the teachers is full of love, they pay attention to every kids. The curriculum being taught is very advanced as my son, a 4 year old can tell you all about the continents, different countries within the continents and special characteristics about those different countries. He is also able to read easy reader books and do basic math. Overall Katy GT has exceeded our expectations. When our son transitions to Kindergarten we'll continue to send him to Katy GT for afterschool programs and summer camps. Once they let go of her everything else went down hill. Mind you anytime they fired someone it is the day of and the people get no reasoning as to why they are being fired. Couple of weeks ago their Director quit, and she fired other employees the same day she quit which then met that they could not have this location open anymore and they let all their staff out to dry to answer all the questions that the children can no longer attend there and had to find other places for their children to go. The current Director Cathy knows nothing but puts a fake smile on her face like she does when in fact, she knows zero about how to run a daycare or how to support her staff. For this to be a Christian daycare they do not treat there employees as such. Communication with parents is terrible and the turnover rate with staff proves they are doing something wrong.

They teach my 4 year old to work on life skills and being independent, they show love, support and guidance. The teachers are amazing and the before and after school helpers are very loving. It is faith based so my daughter learns about the Bible, sings Christian songs and learned to pray. They have a letter, shape, color, word and bible story of the week that the teacher emails to the parents before hand. There is a main teacher and assistant teacher in my daughters class. Before her preschool class time she usually has 1-2 helpers watching her class, then after class she has 2-3 helpers watching the group(sometimes more). There are a lot of people to watch you child, which is important. You have to provide your own morning snack and lunch, but this is perfect for us because my daughter is a very picky eater. The school provides the afternoon snack. I trust the teachers and helpers at this school. I brought my daughter from another commercialized preschool that wasn't taking care of her and I can say with confidence that this school is taking care of her everyday she is there. I know she is in good hands and I can see her growing and developing each day. I know she will be ready for kindergarten through this preschool.
