Dr O'Neil and his staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. The shining Star was my hygienist Ivy. She was more knowledgeable and professional than any I have ever encountered. She gave me realistic time frames for my dental issues. But made it clear it was a journey we were going to take together! Let's face it, who likes to go to the dentist. Certainly not me. The process involved three visits and could not have been more stress-free and comfortable. Although not done for cosmetic reasons, it mattered greatly to me that my appearance would not be changed and that the end result would preserve my original, natural smile. I could not be more pleased by the end result. My experience started with the office calling to confirm my appointment and giving me the WRONG time, which caused me to miss the appointment entirely after I had already rearranged multiple work meetings to make it there. I rescheduled for a 7:00 AM appointment the next morning the doctor's FIRST appointment of the day. I arrived on time, was taken back quickly, numbed for the procedure, and then abandoned in a chair in the farthest room of the office for approximately 45 minutes with zero communication. No one checked in. No one updated me. I eventually had to get up myself and go looking for staff to ask where the dentist and technician had disappeared to. Their explanation? They "got busy with other patients." So somehow the first patient of the morning was left sitting numb for nearly an hour while everyone else's time mattered more. At that point, I explained I was frustrated because this was already the second time I had rearranged my work schedule because of their mistakes and delays. Instead of professionalism, concern, or any real apology, the atmosphere immediately became cold and dismissive. The actual procedure only got worse. Between the original visit and the procedure itself, I had to endure SIX X-rays for a single tooth,  four during the first visit and two more the day of the procedure  because the technician repeatedly could not get the images correct. During this process, the same technician cut the roof of my mouth, causing unnecessary pain and irritation before the procedure had even started. During the second filling, the dental tech abruptly shoved her finger into my mouth hard enough to make me gag. Instinctively, I removed her hand from my mouth. Then, while checking my bite afterward, she made me gag AGAIN with the bite paper. By the end of the appointment, she mumbled something under her breath and walked out of the room, leaving me sitting there alone. Normally, staff remove the bib and properly dismiss the patient at the end of the visit. Instead, I sat there by myself until I finally took the bib off on my own and threw it into the sink before leaving. That moment perfectly summed up the entire experience careless, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. The next morning, I received a call from the office manager informing me that THEY had a complaint about ME from the technician. Imagine that. After wasting my time, mishandling my appointment, leaving me numb and unattended for 45 minutes, and creating an uncomfortable and unprofessional experience, THEY decided I was the problem. When I explained everything that had happened and stated that this experience was far below the standard I had received over the past 7 years, I was told I was no longer welcome back to the practice. That tells you everything you need to know about this office. This is an office that refuses accountability, punishes patients for speaking up, and treats long-term patients as disposable the moment they voice dissatisfaction. If this is how they handle routine scheduling, patient care, communication, and conflict resolution, I would strongly encourage people to think carefully before trusting this office with their dental care.

Then I got "fired" by the office manager for coming in to my appointment. At the time I was busy taking care of my parents so missed a text but did sign the paperwork virtually prior to coming and showed up on time for my appointment with no history of no-shows. I was told I didn't respond to the text message so they gave my appointment to someone else. They rescheduled me for Friday but had to cancel on me as the tech called out sick. They would text me about appointment times but by the time I text back after checking my schedule a couple hours later the appointment was already booked. I called to see if I could make a time work with my new work schedule and expressed (not yelled or was rude) my frustration over being in the office for my appointment and not being seen and having difficulty rescheduling. The office manager said "I'm not going over this with you again I'll email you your files and you can go some where else" I never received my records, an apology, an easy reschedule. I've never not paid or no-showed an appointment. And I truly love my dentist after having some anxiety finding one after a bad experience with oral surgery a few years ago. Now this is one of the best places that accepts my insurance and I'm unsure where to go for care & cosmetics. If you do schedule here make sure you text back 100% of the time asap & avoid the office manager.
