They claimed they were reopening, ready to go at 800am today. Six cars were waiting in line at 830am with no observable activity to get the washes going. Employees clearly didn't care at all about communicating the issues with the customers. All six cars turned around and left the line. Seriously, how does this place stay in business with such poor customer service? The employees clearly saw the frustrated customers but took no initiative to communicate with the customers waiting for 30 min with no start. This is the second time they've just ignored customers in line (the last time they closed the door with customers still waiting) - I shouldn't have gone back again. Apparently, that's the common experience here: poor customer service and employees who clearly don't care about their job. Imagine if you actually had a problem with this car wash, like damage to your car. I bet it would be a nightmare to get anybody there to respond. read more

The staff here are nice and it's a good wash. They always use bug spray pre-wash which really helps get the grasshoppers off the car. I drive up to Spokane from Seattle every week to deliver press vehicles, and that bug spray really helps get the grasshoppers off. In addition, the Carwash has free vacuums that do a good job and have decent suction. You can expect $9 for the basic gold wash which is more expensive than a Mr. CarWash, but their wash does a better job so it's worth the extra $1. Personally I haven't had any issues with collisions in the wash or scratches after literally dozens of washes here. TLDR: if you need a carwash in North Spokane, use this one. read more

We pulled in for our almost weekly car wash here. No one was in line but also no employees in sight. Waited a while, still no employee. We lightly, and I mean LIGHTLY, tapped our horn. A young man came up from behind our car and the first thing he said was "Sir. I'd appreciate if you wouldn't honk your horn. I was in the back moving chemicals." With that attitude, we did not want him touching our car. Clearly he didn't want our business. The last 3 times there, no one was at the end of the car wash wiping down windows. We won't be back. This car wash has been my go to for 12 years. I like to keep my company vehicles clean. In the last couple years this place has really gone down hill. They said awhile back they we're getting new equipment and shut the place down for a long time promising to re-open. Ever since they are barely open. I live up north and do most of my work south of the car wash, so I stop in a few times a week and they are always closed. what a terrible way to run a business. TL;DR - Car wasn't fully washed. Service and effort of the staff was lacking. Paid for promotional/discounted extreme wash today which I thought would be a good deal. The young guy that did a pre-wash rinse covered two and a half sides of the car. Pulling into the wash, my car had a terrible grinding sound on the wheel track which HAD to have been audible outside the car. I stopped and the young man continued to motion me forward. Cosmetically, I didn't see any damage after checking later on. The automated car wash is very standard compared to any other in the area. The front and sides were nearly spotless, the entire rear portion of the trunk and back bumper look like they hadn't been touched by anything in the wash. Vacuums also weren't hooked up. read more

Calling this place full service is borderline false advertising. As long as you don't want it on a weekday. Or on a Saturday in which they only have one person checking in regular wash cars, as well as administering "full service". In such cases you'll get a non-commital time frame as to when you might get your car back. Either staff the place for full service, or scrap it entirely. I used to frequent this car wash twice/week, as we lived on a ranch with dirt roads, but had to be in town frequently. Driving in one time in the spring with my 3 children, the owner told the gal checking the car in to have her charge an extra $10, for my car was muddy. She knew me by now, repeated what he had told her to say. She then apologized, for she was as confused as I was. I let her know that I wasn't upset with her, of course. The car wash is about a four as it does get the car cleaner than most car washes we have used. I agree with most of the other comments in that their hours of operation are very inconsistent. They used to wipe the car off at the end of the wash but that hasn't happened the last several times we have had our car washed. read more

Just went there (12/4/19 at 1PM). They asked what wash I wanted and I said "I'm only here for the vacuums and since I have to get a wash I'll go with the cheapest option" since I had a bunch of pine needles after buying a tree. The incompetent worker (orange pants) did not think to mention that vacuums are broken. After the wash, I was told the vacuums were broken. I asked for a refund when an aggressive worker said I never mentioned the vacuums. Not to mention, the person who was suppossed to take my money wasnt even at his post and they took my card while I was waiting inside right before the wash. After waiting in line I was told that they aren't doing "full service" today because it's hoopfest weekend and they didn't have enough employees.. really?! Does anyone there listen to their phone messages and return a call? I was in on Sunday 10/20/19 got my car washed, was vacuuming the inside and wiping everything down and then left. I didn't realize it until an hour later that I had forgot one of my floor mats outside by the vacuum. When I realized, I drove by and they were already closed. So, on Monday morning I called and left a message. Tuesday I left a message and once again Wednesday left a message. Finally today 10/24, I drove over there on my lunch break and asked if they had a lost and found. If there were a choice for "0" stars, it would have been one to many for this operation. In a few short words, their equipment did $1857 worth of damage to my vehicle. Once I finally was able to get ahold of the owner, (because unlike other legit businesses, they don't have a phone number or fB page) he admitted that it was their fault and that he would be sending me a check. I have been by there (8) times and at least 12 texts (each time saying it will be a few days) It has now been over a year and now I must take them to court. Tried this place. At the end they wipe off the vehicle and grabbed my power mirrors and manually "yanked" them out. When I spoke with the manager to voice my concerns his response was "well, do they still work?" I suggested adding a sign or updating their process to let people know they need to open their mirrors before the kids at the end yank them out and he went on to argue with me about the kids at the end not knowing which vehicles have power mirrors, completely ignoring what I said. When I asked to speak with the owner I was told by the manger that the owner would "only tell you exactly what I've told you." I wonder if the owner knows his manager is putting words in his mouth and treating customers with zero respect. The cherry on top of the experience is that the soap wasn't even completely rinsed off my vehicle and now I'll be rewashing it on my own. read more

Had mud on my truck from driving down a dirt road. So I went to MD car wash to get my truck cleaned it is a car wash after all. They tried to charge me an extra $5 dollars because of the mud. Screw that and me car wash. I guess it's only for cleaning cars that are already clean. read more

I washed my car at 5:20. Literally was taking a few mins to vacuum. Finished the front of my little car and they turned the vacuums off at 5:28 pm and said they were closed now. Yet they ran another car through the carwash at 5:31 p.m. There were several other cars there using the vacuums as well. Just don't go close to closing as they will shut the vacuums off. read more

Went through wash. Dirt on back of my suv turned to mud. Also still had soap on my vehicle. When we stopped and told owners about the problem they acted like we shouldn't have complained. A car wash is supposed to get your car clean, we thought. Owner was not friendly, at all. Did tell us to just go back through. He gave us least expensive wash. Which probably removed all of the expensive crap we just paid to have put on. I got my car washed here and it ripped my windshield wiper right off. As my car came out, the person drying it said, let me get you a manager-pull over there. I waited where he had directed me, not knowing what to expect. The guy came over, looked at my car (newer Cadillac Escalade) abs said "they must've been old". Walked off. I stared, wondering if he was coming back. I didn't necessarily expect they would fix it, I assume it's a use at your own risk. However, it was this guys attitude and approach that has kept me from ever returning or ever purchasing gift certificates here (which I had in the past). I would not recommend. After the first trip through yesterday and the sides of my RAV4 are still dirty the guy says that their new equipment won't wash the sides of any car that has a spare mounted on the back. Went there today , I got the 15 dollar extreme carwash. My front window was not clean to say the least. I talked to the so called management, they said it was tree sap mmm I don't have any trees where I live. I pointed out that wasn't the only spot on the window that was dirty. Are you looking for some of the worst service in town? If so you've found your new go to spot! So when you first pull in your greeted by usuaully a rude college kid, in my case she was not only rude but dressed inappropiately. After that you get to wait for them to "wash your car" I'm not really sure what they did during this time but my car was still dirty, I could have washed it in my drive way better. Employees are always friendly, vacuums are always free and even though the wash isn't perfect, it is better than the other local washes.

I recently went to M.D. Carwash, as I've often done in the past, and when my car emerged from the washing mechanism, I had an 11" crack in my windshield. Having noted the signs that denied responsibility for damage to vehicles, I hesitated about contacting the owner. But I decided to go ahead and ask that he pay the $185 that it would cost to replace my windshield. He wrote back (and his letter was very nice), and he refused to pay for the damage because, he said, his equipment had not caused it. He mentioned that dings, small cracks, and other blemishes can often be exacerbated in a carwash, but he denied even the possibility of the crack being caused by his equipment. There was no ding, crack, or other blemish in the windshield when I pulled into his carwash, and there most definitely was a good-sized crack when I pulled out, so I'm afraid that I cannot return to M.D. read more
