I have been going to the car wash at Hico Village since they built the facility. It is rare that I ever have a bad car wash. Until recently. I understand that it is under new management. I don't know if they have changed products but the last few times I have been there I am disappointed in the end result. You get one guy drying and half the time he doesn't bother drying the tail gate. so I remind him. Two guys today and they did a terrible job of wiping down the truck. Streaks and a film of dirt still where they didn't bother to wipe. Going back in the morning and have them rewash it. They raised their prices and the quality has gone down hill. Car washes have gotten expensive everywhere, but I will say that Squeaky's is still a pretty good deal, especially considering how hard the people work here, and that you get your car finished by being dried by hand. Since there are no brushes (hard to find) you won't get your paint scratched. And since they have regular employees on site instead of like the automatic places, if something isn't working right they can respond immediately. I once noticed a set of nozzles on one side was not spraying anything. They let me go back through after they fixed it right then AND gave me a card for another top tier wash. I will also note that, unlike a lot of places, their vacuums are really strong and actually get the job done. The only downside is they do such a good job, it gets busy often. Friendly staff, great prices. I got the triple shine wash which was $19 and includes the vacuums. This price is equal to the chain washes but I feel their touch less wash is truly spot free especially since they hand towel dry your car after! They have air fresheners and towels that you can purchase in addition to your wash but I didn't need that since I have my own wipes. I will be a continuous customer so far! read more

Very good touch less car wash, frankly the best I've seen that truly cleans the dirt and grime out. Not in the area too often but when I am, I make sure to stop by. 4 stars because they use towels to dry your car instead of microfibers. read more

I ( and my whole family ) have been going to Squeaky for 10+ years now and not quite sure what has happened but EVERY time I go through now my car still comes out DIRTY!!! They have raised their prices and now they do a crappier job??? That doesn't make sense!!! The HELP seems lazy and they don't even dry or wipe your car off anymore. I never have had to wipe the dirt off my car afterward like I have the last 10 time's I have gone through. What is it that we are paying for here??? I could do better with my garden hose. read more

I go here regularly to knock the dust off and get the road grime off of my truck. They pressure wash before hand and towel dry at the end. It is not perfect but SO much better than any other wash in town. They really try to do a fabulous job and they go the extra mile. They do all of this for the same price as most other car washes but definitely do a more thorough job! Love this place! read more

My car was filthy, like it had literally sat in a dust storm, traveled on country roads sort of dirty (plus major dead bugs on the front of it). Most car washes don't fully clean my car so when I pulled up to the joint I asked the lady working there (wish I could have remembered her name, she was very friendly) if they had some sort of guarantee that if my car wasn't clean would they wash again. She said oh ya! If it's not clean just come back around and we'll wash it again for free, but it has to be within the same day. So right there I was sold already because that's awesome! BUT I didn't even need to go back through again because that car wash legit fully cleaned it. 10/10 would most def. wash my car there again. read more

Their wash is so slow and quite frankly the car gets clean when the guys "dry" it at the end. in reality this is where the scum is removed off the car! I waited 30 minutes in line, then had to let an unsatisfied customer ahead of me so he could get a second wash. I asked for a refund of 5 premium wash tickets I purchased but won't use due to such slow service for a lousy wash job! They REFUSED to refund my money! This was the site at Sprague and Mullan. I tried the Metro wash in Coeur d' Alene and the one in Spokane at Havana & Sprague. Impressed! Their brushes seem to be micro fiber, not bristles, rotate slow and in both clockwise and counter-clockwise directions. Plenty of water too! GREAT air blowers at the end! I drove up today with a windshield, bumper and grill full of dead dried on bugs. They were so thick on the windshield it was difficult to see out safely- no kidding. I asked the very nice cashier which service would save me the trouble of breaking out a green scrubby sponge, dish soap and elbow grease to get their little carcasses off at home. She kindly suggested the second from the top tier service. I was skeptical but figured the worst that could happen would be that I'd have to ask them to take pity on me and let me go through a second time. I pulled up and 2 technicians soaped the front of my car and then each began using water concentrators working from the top to the bottom of my windshield in concert to cover every square inch of bug gut laden glass. The guts didn't stand a chance. By the time I got to the end of the touch less wash and the second crew had dried the outside, I totally forgot to take the towel to wipe out the inside of my car. When they opened the door at the end, I was so amazed my focus was solely on getting out a tip & saying thanks. I can only imagine how impressed I'll be next time I wipe down the inside of my car with the provided rag AND use the vacuums included with the price of the wash! The wash did what it said, but the main reason I went to Squeaky's versus other places is because they hand dry your car after. It's great that it's a touchless car wash. My problem is when they didn't do a good job hand drying. I have rain guards/window deflectors on my car and if you don't try to dry underneath it after you wash your car, water drips down from it. There were two people hand drying and neither of them dried underneath. Now that I know that, I'll bring my own towels in the future. Or go somewhere else to save money and hand dry it myself. read more

The Number ONE car wash in Spokane! I send both of my BMWs through this wash! And my truck as well! My car still looks detailed and I haven't touched it in 2 1/2 years other than this wash! Do NOT try to compare to automatic bay washes. NO comparison! Go without your Latte for one day and spend the extra money! Their employees have attention to detail. (automatic bay washed do not have employees who pre-spray the yuck off your car BEFORE it gets washed!) All of my friends and family who visit from out of state are hooked as well. Squeeky's Car Wash does a very good job. I believe that I had almost a month's worth of dirt and bugs built up on my car which included a camping trip across the state - so it was pretty dirty to say the least. The end result was a clean car inside and out. The car wash is a touch free wash that left my car shiny and removed almost all the dirt and bugs. They also have free vacuums for your use with the purchase of any car wash. I wasn't sure if you were supposed to use them before or after, but a few other people and myself used them after the wash. When you first drive up you are greeted by an attendant who you order and pay for you choice of wash option. They gave me a free moist towel to wipe down the inside of my car with (also not sure if that was for me to keep? But there was no place to return them). There were roughly 5 different wash options, each offering more cleaning options as the prices increased, as usual (I'll try to get a photo the next time I'm there). They did offer a large variety of cleaning options. The basic wash price started around $8-$9. I did the $11 option which did the job! Is it expensive? For a car wash it's on the higher side, but worth it for a completely clean and shiny car. There were two attendants at the beginning of the wash that pre-sprayed my vehicle with soapy water, and then my car was taken through the different wash cycles inside the actual wash. At the end, there were 2 more attendants that towel dried my entire car - if you give them a tip they make sure to do an extra good job! This wash was way better than Brown Bear or others that I have been to. Very nice and professional, and an overall clean job. I will definitely return! read more

Wonderful carwash! If you get an oil change, a free "best" car wash is included. Mechanics are friendly and don't push sales on other stuff too much. The car washing staff is hard working and the car wash itself is touchless so you don't have to worry about streaks. Having a moist towel to wipe the interior gives you something to do while in car wash. The prices are a little more expensive then competitors, but for the high quality of the wash and service it is well worth it. read more

Let me start my review by saying, the car wash itself was fine, maybe a little steep on prices considering it was a touchless car wash. The one star rating is for the customer service. During the car wash process a piece of metal (a wheel weight) become lodged in my drivers side rear tire, causing my low tire alarm to begin lighting up my dashboard at the end of the car wash. I had just spent the previous week traversing the country from TX to WA, going through construction, up mountains, loose gravel, etc.. So I thought nothing of it at the time, I stopped at a Shell station up the road and when I got out to put air in my tire, heard an ominous hissing noise. I quickly realized no amount of air was going to fix my tire, and ended up calling triple a to change my flat. I then drove the mile or so back to the car wash and explained to the attendant what happened. He took my information, and said the boss wasn't in (it was a Sunday), but he would call me the following Monday. Fast forward to Wednesday, no call from the owner and I've already ordered my tire to be delivered and installed by the end of the week. So I call the car wash, when I spoke to the wife of the couple who owns Squeaky's she mentioned "oh yeah we heard about that" but was quite adamant that something like this has never happened before and so she's pretty sure that it didn't happen in her touchless car wash and could I see where she was going with this. I told her no I didn't because I had just driven 3k miles across the country in all types of terrain and never had a problem but 5 minutes at her car wash and I get a flat tire, does she see where I'm going with this. She then states that maybe I should get in touch with the people that installed the tires, insinuating that they somehow managed to lodge a piece of metal in my tires without my knowledge. I replied on my brand new car that I've only had for two months? And then drove across the country? I don't think that would have escaped my attention. At this point I should mention I drive a 4WD SUV and the tires are quite hardy as they have to be able to withstand multiple purposes. I will admit I was getting a bit angry to hear someone try and make excuses or blame me, for something I didn't do. She then asked if I still had the metal. I still have the whole tire, metal and all, in the back of my car, and told her this & then asked she wanted me to drive it down there, as I was happy to do so. She instead took down my information again (which immediately told me she had probably never intended to get in touch with me) and told me her husband would call me later. When I did talk to her husband, it was the same thing, he was very sure it hadn't happened there, and asked me to come down so he could look at the tire, still in the back of my car. I went down, he looked at it and then looked at camera footage from the day I was there, told me my tires were full of air when I left, according to his HD security camera. I then mentioned his employee at the end of the car wash, who pointed my flat tire out to me as I was pulling out. Long story short he didn't pay for my tire to be replaced, didn't offer a reimbursement of my car wash, and offered no solution to my dissatisfaction, other then telling me I was just angry and wanted him to pay for something that wasn't his fault.
