I finally decided to give in to science and I was in constant research for a good injector here in the San Mateo County area. I visited one of the MedSpas in Burlingame , but was not really satisfied with the service I was given. Here's my update after 5 weeks of treatment, as Dr. Lin expected in her comments. Unfortunately, I'm still not seeing the smooth results I was hoping for. The uneven parts of the filler didn't magically disappear, and it seems like the shape is staying the same as the last time I tried to smooth it out.,There is not enough space for those overfilled fillers, which is making it difficult to make it any smoother. I believe if I had left my initial uneven filler as Dr. Lin had left it, the huge lumps would have stayed with me as well. In fact, my appearance now looks worse than if I had no filler at all. If you check the picture without zooming in too much, it looks more like what you would see in real life. I'm sharing my experience in hopes that nobody has to suffer what I've been through. read more

Well, as a guy I was a little hesitant when it comes to injections for fine lines and wrinkles. Dr. Lin and Cassandra welcomed me into the facility with open arms, I didn't feel as embarrassed as I thought I would be, LOL. After I finished the paperwork, Dr. Lin brought me back to the office to talk about what my options are for the crows feet wrinkles. Just plain awesome. I researched Thermiva for quite a bit before committing. My primary concern (other than does it work?) was that most facilities require purchase of three treatments that need to be completed within a three month period. I didn't like the feeling of committing on such a large scale. It's a fair sum and what if I didn't like it or worse had an adverse reaction? Dr Lin's office couldn't have been nicer. They let me purchase one treatment to see how things went. The price is not 1/3 of the package it's a bit higher, but it seemed fair to have the opportunity to try Thermiva. I already knew it worked as my bestie back home had rave reviews. Bottom line is I tried Thermiva and it's awesome. I ended up buying the three treatment package end couldn't be happier. Dr Lin is pleasant and extremely thorough. If you are going to have Thermiva why not have a woman and a gynecologist who knows her stuff? She also recommended a collagen powder that works wonders for your skin. It even helped my tummy appear flatter and cellulite is def going away. read more

I've been to MD Laser several times and was very happy with the results for Botox. However, the last visit was for a filler which Dr. Lin indicated would help reduce the lines around my lips. After the treatment I did not see any difference at all. The lines were still there and I looked exactly the same as before applying the filler. I reached out for a follow up and although Cassandra said that Dr. Lin will look at my pictures and get back to me there was no follow up at all. I'm quite disappointed to not hear back. Cassandra is very helpful and cheerful and Dr. Lin is very pleasant and seems knowledgeable. I don't think it's good service to ignore a customer though. I would've liked to return in the future but I think I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

She's very supportive, listens, and starts slow. She does not propose thousands of dollars worth of work, only to try to whittle it down to get in line with your budget. I am allergic to their whitening products and I'm not sensitive skin. For the other product, eye cream and hair growth and so on are good. I returned the 10% product. I don't like the doctor kept saying I use it too much which causes the allergy. I know how much I use, less than a peanut and even not every day. The terrible part is: Receptionist called me yesterday and said the doctor Lin cancel my appointment and my mother's. I ask why. The Receptionist, Shawna said: "There is no reason I just do what my boss ask me to do. " Seriously, in my whole life,this is my first time to have such rude experience!!! Dr Lin, no matter how many patients you have or how much money you earned, don't be Arrogant. There are hundred clinics in bay area. Most of them don't ask for consultation fee and patient to their patients. The most part is they won't cancel patient appointment without a reasonable reason!! read more
