I went to Allison to dissolve filler that was put in the wrong spot by another practitioner. She was pressing so hard on one side that it caused a bruise and swelling that lasted 3 weeks. Then I was left with a deep dent. She took no responsibility for what she did and she said she was doing me a favor when she injected the hyaluronidase. I asked at least for a discount for filler to fix the dent, she said no. There was no reason for her to press so hard that caused swelling, a bruise and a dent. The enzyme is supposed to do the work. Now I will need fat grafting and/ or a face lift to fix this. I look much worse than before walking into Skin Spirit. read more

I've gone back and forth about writing this review, but it's been on my mind for years and feels important to share. I absolutely love seeing Michelle for my treatments--she is knowledgeable, professional, and incredibly skilled at what she does. She's the reason I continue coming back, and if this review were based solely on her work, it would be five stars without hesitation. Unfortunately, my overall experience with the front desk has been inconsistent. One experience in particular has stayed with me: back in 2020 or 2021, when extra safety measures were in place, I was told to wait outside until my appointment. I understood the policy, but it was pouring rain at the time. I went along with it since I had arrived early. However, when I finished my appointment, I saw another customer--a white woman--waiting comfortably in the lobby for her service. That double standard was shocking and upsetting, and it left me at a loss for words in the moment. She knows what she is doing, and always makes the Botox and filler injections painless. She never oversells anything and tries to use the least amount of units for the most results. Book with her in advance! Otherwise, it's kind of hard to get an appointment. Booking is really easy through the website, however you would have to call in to make any changes and/or cancel. The facially and front office staff have been pleasant every time. The per cost unit of Botox is $16, which is higher than a lot of other places. The reason for the 2 stars is that I had to cancel last week because I was sick, I fully understand it was within the 24hrs but I figured it would be more respectful to not get anyone sick and just suck it up and pay the $75 cancellation fee. What really felt rude was that I was then cancelled on three days later with 24 hours notice and was given nothing, no sorry, was not able to reschedule, nothing. I have been a consistent every 6-8 weeks customer for over three years and have cancelled last minute one other time two years ago.
