I was sick during the holidays with an ear infection. Since my primary doctor is in West Palm Beach and I was too sick to drive that fat, I decided to go to MD Now which was close to my home. I was truly disappointed with my treatment. First and foremost, the business name is deceptive. Even though it is called MD Now, I did not see an MD, nor were there any MD's to be seen. Ivwas treated by a PA who didn't give me nearly enough nor strong enough antibiotics. The infection ended up lasting at least a month! When I asked to see an MD, the receptionist responded that the PA was just as good. This is nonsense. Since being seen at MD Now, I had to go to two other doctors who not only prescribed stronger antibiotics, but also a steroid. My advice to you is not to ever go to MD Now. Go directly to a real doctor's office. This place is deceiving the public. read more

Should have written a review a year ago on 1/4/25 Walked into 601 Linton Blvd, gave my insurance card and ID. I was exposed to RSV 2 days prior. I was told I did not have insurance. I was desperate and wanted to be seen. I was in town visiting family for the holidays. I paid the $180 and was told I could not be tested bc I was under 65 and over 5. So I had to convince Juan Bedoya to test me for covid and flu. When I got home I called my insurance and was told that my co-pay should have been $38. And the insurance was charged $544.00. They fought it and till this day, I have not gotten reimbursed. Lady at the front desk was super nice, but when I was seen, it was a dissappointment. read more

Came in on 2/21 after work at 2pm for Sun poisioning, the receptionist is attentive- helped me out with billing - big shout out! and the female nurse who took my vitals was AWESOME she was very compassionate and made me feel comfortable! The reason I'm giving this location a 1 star was because of god awful bedside and rudeness from DR. Calvin Krom. The nurse actually looked more at my burns than the Krom, when he entered he gave no eye contact, not very friendly, and seemed annoyed at my questions about treatment ( passive head shaking, extending his neck dramatically, eye rolling, shrugging his shoulders and hands) It made me very uncomfortable to the point I told him to I didn't need anything else from him. When I went to a second nurse to ask questions and please look at my more severe burns. He was in the hallway overhearing- came in to my room (#6) and started getting defensive towards me "well you told me you didn't want my help anymore so what do you want me to do??" I then addressed I wanted him to look at my burns but he was making me uncomfortable so I decided to ask a nurse. In front of the second nurse he then asked me to pull down my clothing so he could "see the problem". When I told him I'm still uncomfortable with how he's talking to me he says "okay since I'm making you SO UNCOMFORTABLE- I'll leave." And bolted out the door, the second nurse apologized !!!!!! Overall- never coming back to this location again! My advice is to go to Boynton. And I will be filing this internally- inexcusable behavior from Calvin Krom. read more

I visited this location on Saturday got a diagnosis was prescribed an antibiotic. The three days later was not working. I was told the anabiotic could not be changed. I was in pain and discomfort. The receptionist hung up on me. They were rude, unhelpful and unprofessional. I wouldn't bring my dog there if you're smart, find another location. Registration-no problem, nurse, no problem, but the doctor...the first question he asked the nurse, is this insurance or self pay? When her answer was insurance, he immediately prescribed x-ray which was absolutely unnecessary. How do I know? My mother was a surgeon who routinely helped patients in the situation like mine. After x-ray, he started what we came there in the first place, to patch my wound caused by hacksaw. After making two stitches in the small wound, he announced that the blood vessel in the second wound is damaged and I must go to Delray Hospital emergency room, as he can't patch mine. So I did and they were really surprised that he couldn't patch it himself, as this was just a regular stitching procedure. One of the stitches that MD doctors put came apart and I most likely won't have a scar at the big cut, while the small one is yet another story. I'll never be back at this facility and will go to ER instead if something else happens. read more

I wish I had listened to the reviews. I am from out of town and the level of unprofessionalism and disorganization is mind boggling! This is a 4-6 hour process! I did all the online registering. I registered first thing in the morning, got my place in line. I paid attention to my text updates. I was there when I received the message that they were ready for me. I sat in that waiting room for almost 2 hours and that's after following my text updates and instructions. They lure you in with an online system that is a complete fraud tactic and does not work. DO NOT GO HERE! Trust me, you are not cutting any time by pre registering. The que bullshit is just that, bullshit. The reception said your check in doesn't even start until you've paid your co pay so you're not even on the clock to be seen until you've checked in and paid. Then you sit for hours. I have never experienced anything like this. If I wasn't traveling tomorrow I would have left a long time ago. Once I was in the examining room, I waited another 50 minutes before the doctor came in. In waiting in the examining room, I felt overwhelmed. It was warm, my anxiety was at an all time high. I opened the door so I didn't feel so closed in. Within seconds, the nurse said I cannot keep the door open for patient privacy issues!! Something about patients in the hallway and them discussing patients in the hallway! She left the door open about 1 1/2 feet for me. So totally defeats the purpose of me not hearing what's going on in the hallway which I heard nothing. So with her reasoning, the door should've been touched shut tightly. You cannot make this up! This place is pure insanity. I say this with sincerity, find another urgent care. Even if it's another MDNow, this one is so unprofessional and disorganized and you pay the price for their chaos. I went to MD now beginning of June for evaluation for persistent cough, shortly before flying. I was grateful for the meds and proceeded on my flight. I received a bill from MD now shortly afterwards and paid my copay of $28.00. My secondary insurance then informed me that they had paid the $28 and my MD now balance should have been zero. I have called 3 times, had Regence call, and every time they deny receiving the payment. It's only $28, but clearly their billing system is flawed and they do not take responsibilty. I told them this last call, I would now post a poor review, but because they are corporate, I doubt they would care if they go yet again one more bad review. My suggestion is that if you have Medicare and a secondary insurance, don't pay your balance. POOR POOR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE BILLING DEPARTMENT. read more

Worst urgent care I have ever been to! The only good thing about this experience was the nice receptionist. I went in at 8am this morning (the time they open) because I didn't want to wait for more than an hour. During my appointment the intake nurse Dymmone Reneau did not ask the standard amount of intake questions and completely skipped over asking about drug use, birth control, or any recent updates in my medical history. Thankfully she at least asked if I was allergic to any medication (I am allergic to penicillin). PA Chadde Levy then comes in a minute later with the diagnoses and prescription papers already in hand before he had even examined me! My symptoms were a sore throat, cough, chills, and fatigue which is concerning since I have asthma and every time I've had Covid or any kind of upper respiratory infection it takes at least a month for my asthma to calm down after flaring up. I was expecting him to test me for at least the Flu and Covid since it is usually routine to do so if those symptoms are present, but nope! He just listened to my lungs, looked in my throat and sent me on my way with a prescription for antibiotics. The total amount of time my appointment took was 4 minutes! 8:49 - 8:51. I appreciate quick service but not if it completely lacks in quality. Definitely not worth the $50 copay with my insurance. read more

Ladies and Gentlemen, I want to thank Doctor Adam Berry for helping me with my allergy reaction to the pollen in the air. He was able to figure out which medicine would work best to solve my allergy problem. My current medication was not working, and he prescribed three that would help plus allergy nose drops. I only had to take these medications for 10 days. After three days I felt so much better. Usually when it comes to an allergy problem it could take a long time to figure out what works. Went to the one in Jax on Atl. Blvd. People were nice enough. But I got a call the following day to go to a referral regarding a broken bone. I said okay and sat while the referral was made. I was told to get xrays from MD Now. I called to get those Xrays and they can't get them to me in time for my appt. So I cancelled everything. Will go to my own dr. for a referral. If they have a referral they work with they should be able to get those x-rays to that referral. I won't risk getting charged for double xrays. I also got the feeling that I would be sitting all day at this "referral" because they had to fit me in as an emergency and told me to tell them what time. No, I can see myself sitting there for hours. ITs a broke toe, I doubt much can be done anyway. read more

ANSWER YOUR PHONE! The staff here is so incredibly incompetent and rude. Came in for an injury and they forgot to call my prescription in to my local pharmacy and wouldn't answer their phone! The pharmacist and myself made several attempts to try to get a hold of anyone working at the clinic to have the RX sent over. The person who works at the Call Center for MD Now Urgent Care also unsuccessfully attempted to reach anyone. I had to leave the pharmacy, drive all the way back to MD Now Urgent Care to get the hardcopies for the prescription only to be treated like I am the inconvenience. They didn't even offer to fill the prescription in house since they were the ones that made the screwup. There wasn't anyone even in the waiting room... There wasn't anything to take care of. From the Moment you enter the clinic you get a bad attitude from a receptionist that would like you to think that she is in charge of the clinic. A very rude demeanor not just to my Wife and I, but with everyone that walked through the door. She sits in front of her computer screen barking out demands to everyone in the waiting room. It's not a Concentration camp, it's a doctors office. If you don't like working Saturdays, go back to Little Caesar's! One lady was coughing (it's a clinic duh) and she told her that if she doesn't stop, she'll send her out on the street. This is probably the last place to go To be cared for. You wait and wait to have your blood tested, after the assistant pokes around your arm. A seeing eye dog could Find a vein quicker. It's hard to believe she received any training. Once it's done, it was 65 minutes before they produced the results and another 45 before the doctor re-entered the room to diagnose. In the end, he told me to go see my regular doctor on Monday! I've been having severe stomach pains and took a urine sample the day I went in and the doctor told me he'd send it in if I wanted to. I call back in to have him send it in and the receptionist told me they don't have my sample. I asked what's next for me because the medication was not helping and she had told me it's only been a day I'm not supposed to feel better yet.. I'm prescribed Imodium and ondansensetron which those of you that know what it is is supposed to ease your symptoms with in a hour or so of taking them, it's been over 24 hours and I've taken them multiple times as the doctors order. I have been sick the last three weeks with a bronchial cough and sinusitis. I waited a week to see a doctor because I thought I just had a cold. Nothing more, nothing less. When I finally realized I needed to see a Dr, of course mine was on vacation and her associate couldn't fit me in. Luckily, I found this place, on Yelp. The reviews weren't great, but I knew I needed antibiotics so I made an appointment. A walk-in urgent care clinic that not only makes appointments ~they actually stay on schedule. My experience was wonderful from start to finish. I have great insurance and luckily my carrier covered the entire visit which made me happy of course. I arrived early for my appointment (surprising right?) because let's face it, I'm early for everything. I filled out some paperwork and was told to have a seat. They called my name at the exact time of my scheduled appointment. Wow, I normally have to wait forever to see my primary doctor. I was brought into a private room where the nurse took my temperature, blood pressure etc. She also went over my medical history. When we were done she walked me over to an examining room and told me the Dr will be less than five minutes. I'm thinking yeah right, since I'm used to long waits for almost every doctor I see. I waited about two minutes and I had an actual doctor in front of me. Not a PA, a real doctor. He took his time examining me and asking lots of questions. He didn't rush me in and out at all. Then he tells me that I have both bronchitis and sinusitis. Really? I have to have two things wrong? Not just one? Oh well. He asked me if I wanted to purchase my medicine from them or have them send it electronically to my pharmacist or just take both scripts with me. Since I felt light-headed and I didn't have the energy to drive to my pharmacy I inquired about the price since they don't accept insurance for the meds that they sell. Both were very reasonable. Sure, if I went to my pharmacy I could have got my zpac for ten dollars and I know this. But for twenty it was just easier to get it here and be done with it. The last thing I wanted to do was go to Publix which is where my pharmacy is, I just wanted to go home and get in bed. The Dr left the room and said he would be back in a few minutes with my prescriptions and my discharge paperwork. Ten minutes later I was walking out the door with my medicine and I couldn't be happier. My one experience at this location was excellent. I would definitely return if my own Dr is unavailable again. The office was very clean including the waiting area. I recommend this office and don't forget that you can make an appointment too. I'm back at work and feeling good again. read more

I came in extremely sick this morning running a fever, extreme sore throat and throwing up in the patient room. The nurse kept telling me I was to old to be worked up when I was shaking and vomiting. (Mind you I told her in my records I'm taking medicine for severe anxiety) I get it if you don't understand how bad I'm feeling but I mean try and have some sympathy as I'm literally on the floor vomiting in front of you. But I was going to let this all go until I drop off my prescription and the pharmacy tells me they can't accept it because they didn't even include the doctors name or number and put my last name as my middle name. So not only did it take me 2hours of being there (when I was the first one in line as they opened) but it took me another four hours after that to get my prescription from a kindergartener mistake.
