Would definitely NOT recommend this location if you're getting a possible injury checked out. Says they have X-rays on site, but they're read elsewhere and you can't see images. No TVs or access in rooms to see images. Waited over two hours. Then they came in with a wrist brace, for a possible broken finger before even seeing the results from the xray. We would need images to take to orthopedic too and couldn't get. How do you recommend a brace before getting results and not even bracing the right body part?! read more

This is currently my favorite urgent care. The nicest receptionist. Nurses and doctors. I have been here multiple times. They have been great for all kinds of minor issues. I'm not a fan of the pharmacy service. They send the script there but it's much more expensive than going to a regular pharmacy. I paid $25 for generic antibiotic ointment that I can get otc at target for a few dollars. I only needed a tiny bit. I thought I was at least getting brand name. You pay for convenience. read more

I don't like to go to hospitals and called them scared as I felt like something was wrong. I am so lucky a woman named Lauren answered the phone, who called me back, made me feel at ease, and gave me the bravery to come in. Lauren and the rest of the team there were incredibly kind and made sure I was okay and comfortable. They did labs, fluids and filled prescriptions all in the span of an hour or two. Don't come here for Medical Marijuana! First off it's over priced, 480 is steep. 180 I'd say would be reasonable. Only Dr. G herself can update your prescription and it's near impossible to get ahold of her. 0 communication. You apply for Marijuana but she prescribes you with everything but actual Marijuana. Dangerous, Misleading, and Fraudulent I had a terrible experience at Dr. G's. I first went in after an accident in November but was turned away because I couldn't afford the $150 per person fee for both my daughter and me. We returned two days later after gathering the money, only to be told again it was $150 each due to it being an auto accident. I paid the $300+ and saw the doctor, who spent about 10 minutes with us, briefly listened to what hurt, wrote prescriptions for muscle relaxers, and told us to get an MRI and CT scan. Fast forward three months, and I received two separate bills stating that the real cost was actually $500 per person--something that was never disclosed upfront. Their reasoning? They claimed they didn't know what insurance would cover, and if I had read the fine print, I would've known. This is incredibly misleading and dishonest. Even worse, my MRI showed extensive herniations, yet no one from Dr. G's office ever followed up with me about my results. That is completely unacceptable. On top of my own experience, a friend of mine was completely misdiagnosed. She went in complaining of a bad cough and lung pain, only to be told she needed treatment for her lower back! Turns out she had severe pneumonia. That kind of carelessness is dangerous. As someone who has worked in healthcare for 20 years, with two physician parents and experience running medical offices, I can confidently say this place is fraudulent and unsafe. You don't quote one price and then change it months later, and you don't ignore serious medical conditions. Patients deserve competent, transparent care, not shady business practices and reckless misdiagnoses. I have been a patient of Dr G's off and on for years at the Delray Beach location. I went there on Friday and was diagnosed with pink eye and a sinus infection. They gave me drops for my eye and it seems that I am getting it in my other eye. I called them today and they said they cannot give me another prescription for the drops unless I come in and spend another $75.00. They are supposed to care about their patients and that is what they claim they do. They are only in it for the money, and I know if I went to my regular doctor and he gave me the drops for my eye, and I called him back he would call me in another prescription. Another thing is that they charged me more money at their pharmacy then I would pay at Walgreen or CVS. It isn't for connivence, it is again another way to make more money. I am never going back to them again. I would rather go to a hospital first. read more

They are so caring here and make sure that they help you when you are very sick. The emergency room didn't help me at all when I had bronchitis and the flu. I came here and they not only helped prescribe the right medication to make my sickness go away they are personable and talk to you like your family. read more

This place was great! I waited only 8 minutes for my appointment (the front desk was SO nice and friendly) and the tech and doctor were SO personable, professional and thorough. I am not an easy patient and then were absolutely wonderful. I got a strep test, an exam, my antibiotics and was on my way home in under an hour. read more

I'm glad to say that I'm now over 4 years sober While I was in Delray Beach, I had the misfortune of having to attend this urgent care clinic as a requirement for my job, related to COVID screening. The wait here was abhorrent and my patient care quality was poor Now, almost 5 years later (just before the statute of limitations expires), this awful excuse for a clinic sent me a $90 bill telling me that I am responsible and that they are entitled to collect. The wording in the invoice was very strong, and threatened late fees and assuredly would be followed by collections activity if non responsive What an awful, predatory practice from a clinic with no consideration for the patient. We had a bit of a Covid-19 scare and had to get tested right away. Unfortunately for us, every place I could think of for testing from CVS and Walgreens to MD Now and every urgent care in between was either full or closed. I then came across Dr. G's. We called ahead to see what the story was. They told that us we could be tested, but they wouldn't give us an appointment since it's first come first served. They wouldn't even give us a ballpark guess on wait time. We went anyway since we had no other options and because it was the weekend and didn't want to wait until Monday to be tested. When we arrived it was extraordinarily crowded. We talked to the woman at the desk who still wouldn't give us an estimated wait time, which was frustrating. It can't be that hard to calculate the wait time. If every visit is approximately 15 minutes and there's 8 people ahead of us, it's probably going to be around 2 hrs. Why not be honest and tell us what's going on? When I sat down to start waiting, I figured it would take around an hour or an hour and a half max. But it ultimately took 3 hours, which was very rough. We got it done but ufff that wait was really pushing it. I could have flown to NY in that time. Results were returned in the promised time frame, so that's something. I'd recommend Dr. G's for Covid-19 testing since we did get tested when every other place didn't have availability. However, if you have other options, definitely try those first before coming here. The wait time can be unreasonable. read more

Horrible service. If you scroll down you will see many 1 star reviews and followed by what it seems fake 5 star reviews. I will never go back there. I came there as I dislocated my knee cap and was in excruciating pain for over 2 weeks. The process was very unfriendly and the portal they use is not user friendly at all and the staff had bad attitude which somebody would not expect from a place where people go to get urgent care. On top of it they clamed that doctor can't see me as I have an outstanding bill (even if this was correct was at least 8 years ago). So instead of helping me they made things worse. I would not recommend this place at all. I found a superb service at another urgent care place in Palm Beach and it was like day and night. Dr G's obviously don't care about patients and their staff needs training. I even called ahead to make sure and drove out of my way to see them. Never again. I picked this place because I am not local and had no idea where else to go. I had very bad cough, sore throat, and runny nose. I was diagnosed with bronchitis and sent back home. No rsv or flu or Covid tests were performed. I developed a really bad fever being on the meds they prescribed and texted them about it. They told me to come again to be seen. I did, and currently waiting in their office for an hour being literally the only patient there. They said they only have one doctor. I feel horrible and I literally don't know where else to go. I'm spending an extended period of time here from my typically northern location, and I feel a little bad that my recent reviews have been nothing but bad but... they are warranted. I went in for what should have been a 15minute appointment, was seen by three providers (two doing intake, and the NP) and they had to redo one of the tests I went in for because of an error the assistant made that *I* caught. The NP did not maintain sterile best-practices for the testing, and I had to ask them to get new equipment out. They apologized, and said that it is not normally "this disorganized" but they had a lot of "new staff being trained" - even so, no excuse to leave someone who is in for a SUPER quick test to be there for an unbearably long time. The office was freezing cold and the place itself was in major major need of updating. Oh yes, the aforementioned 15 minute appointment? I was there for over an hour and 45 mins. There was NO ONE in the waiting room with me, and only one other person in a neighboring exam room. Absolutely awful awful awful. I now know why they make you sign a piece of paper saying that once they charge you for the visit, absolutely no refunds will be given - because at one point, I was ready to walk out (having been left in a freezing room)!!! Because of the absolute disaster this place was, I'm afraid that the testing I went in for (involves bloodwork) will not yield accurate results. Will see. Either way, I will not be returning. The place was dusty. They administered IV antibiotics on me without taking blood cultures which I thought was odd so I told them to take it out. They told me my flu like symptoms were probably unrelated to my cellulitis and that I most likely picked up a bug at work. I decided to immediately leave and head to the ER because I was listening to my gut. Beware***** Stated one cost over the phone after verifying my insurance and collecting payment for a telehealth visit then subsequently billed substantially more (10 times the informed cost) weeks after the visit~ despite clarifying specifically what the out of pocket charge would be. Care rendered by ARNP very inferior as well. No compassion or bedside (phone side) manner. Huge disappointment and unanticipated expense at a vulnerable time when sick. And her intervention advice did not help my illness. DISHONEST company (location does not matter since all billing is centralized for Dr. G's Urgent Care centers). Company not responsive to complaints, Wasted money and terrible service. Update on previous review. The owners response gave me her phone number. I called and left a message, no return call back to check his progress. Recap -My husband was in on 2/8/25 for bronchitis, he was given an injection and his sciatic nerve was injured by the needle. Injection was not given in correct anatomical area. We went back two days later, my husband was in excruciating pain. Another 2 injections were given not correctly, by a different nurse/ aide, luckily no nerve involvement this time. A couple days later we ended up in ER due to my husbands excruciating pain. Nurse practitioner stated she has seen this a few times before from this facility and the staff are not properly trained. Needless to say our vacation was ruined. Here we are 3/18/25, another sleepless night due to excruciating pain. I'm hoping you took my review seriously, next stop Orthopdics for possible nerve block. Side note- when I signed on for this review I saw I owe $ 75.00 charge for the second visit. I really think it needs be adjusted, our expense for this error has cost us quite a bit more than $75.00 and a vacation. Train your employees!!!! Crazy business. If you by chance are looking to contract covid this is the place for you with its overcrowded waiting room filled with hacking sick people. They need to register/ check people in outside but instead pile people in like sardines. They don't take appointments and the lines are crazy. We showed up an hour before they opened and were 6 th in line. I almost gave them 2 stars as The actual doctor we saw was lovely but the process it took to see her was abhorrent. The worst part is yet to come..... The turn around time for covid tests is outrageous. We were told 24-48 hours and it took 98 hours to get our tests back. Will never come here again. I went there at 8pm and finished up at 11pm. Saw the NP for maybe 10 seconds and she prescribed a "covid cocktail" of 5 prescriptions when my symptoms weren't really covid related. Went to a different urgent care two days later and it turns out I have mono. Completely missed the mark, truly a terrible experience and possibly life threatening. Edit: They reached out to me to let me know mono isn't a life threatening disease. Thank you, but a missed diagnosis could result in a ruptured spleen with physical activity. Maybe start considering patients might have other things wrong with them besides COVID. I had the misfortune of going here today for a COVID Test. I called Before I came and they told me it was not busy. There was absolutely no precautions taken. I was absolutely appalled at the facility. They were approximately 20 people crammed into a small space, no social distancing. No temperature was taken upon coming in. When I had to fill out the paperwork they use the same pen over and over again. I filled out the paperwork after disinfecting the clipboard and a pen and then gave him my insurance information and went to wait outside. As I was waiting outside more people came into the facility. I realized how unsafe I felt and thought if the waiting area conditions were so bad how clean would the examination area be. I went and picked up my license and insurance information and left.
