This is by far the worst MD Now clinic I've been to. There is absolutely no sense of urgency here. Most of the time, no one is even at the front desk. When someone finally appeared and said she worked there (but only in the back), she was unnecessarily snarky. I came in solely for a drug screening, yet it still took over an hour just to be brought back. At that point, I was told by the snarky lady was now nicer, "I'm sorry, we don't have the proper specimen cup, but you can go to the other MD Now urgent care 5 miles (21 minutes) away because they have the correct one." Why she could not have told me that when I initially arrived and spoke to her is beyond me. I explicitly stated I was there for a drug screening. Also the online check-in process is pointless--you still have to re-check in on your phone once you arrive, which is completely redundant. Fair warning: if you walk in and see even two people in the waiting room, you're better off going to the ER. read more

The urgent care was not difficult to find. It's located at a corner. It looked nice inside. It was not busy when i got there. The waitingroom was a good size. They had me scan the QR code to sign in and register my information. My wait time before being taken to a room was around thirty minutes. The examination was professional. He was a fun doctor. I found him personable. The doctor listen to my issue. I hurt my toe and started by sending to get X rays. The nurse was great. I thought she did a great job. She prepped me and wrapped me up. At the end of the examination I was given a print out with home care instructions and other things. My experience was a good one here. read more

Urgent care facility I had a debilitating illness which left me in pain and bedridden! Finally after days of bc powders I was able to get up and go. The staff was amazing very professional and nice. But because of my age and amount of pain etc The doctor would. It see me explained that I really need to go to the ER as I need tests that did not offer! So I went to the ER and I had some sort of upper respiratory infection that the hospital was familiar with! It's been a 3 week journey! I so recommend this urgent care facility! They could have easily took my co pay and sent me home to suffer but in stead pushed me to the best care! Very impressed read more

Their online "get in line" system is BS. We were given an appointment estimate and arrival time. We waited at home, feeling ill, arrived on time, only to be told there were more people ahead of us and the wait would be at least an hour. What's the use of an online system if it's not linked to what happens in the office, or if staff (Fran) ignore it. We walked out and will not be back. Classic bait and switch. Terrible to treat sick people this way. BTW, during the half hour we were there NO patients were called for treatment. Were they doing brain surgery back there? Terrible all around genuinely. Came in with a slew of symptoms, including red bumps under my arms, cold chills, fatigue, etc. etc. check in staff seemed lazy. Get to see the doctor & he comes in seeming super disinterested like he couldn't care less. Looks at the bumps & was just going to give me some cream and send me on my way. I asked "what about all of the other symptoms I mainly came here for?" He said "we can test for Covid and flu and do blood work" I said I don't believe it's Covid or flu but okay. Covid and flu were negative as expected. Was told they would reach out to me regarding the blood work. It's now been 3 days haven't heard a peep. Never going here again. read more

My sister went to this MD now in Delray for a hurt food. They did an X-ray and said the foot was broken and did not give a copy of the X-ray but told her to go to an orthopedic. They gave her the wrong kind of boot that did not support her foot, plus the boot was for the wrong foot. They also told her they were out of crutches and she needed to go to another MD now for crutches. When she went in to pick up a copy of the X-ray, they said that she needed to go to the Boca office. When I called to try to get the copy of the X-ray there, they hung up on me. What a waste of time this urgent care is. Would never recommend. read more

At first I thought this would be a great experience for an urgent care visit. You can sign in online and so I did that. The online portal tells you how many people are ahead of you and your estimated visit time. My estimated visit time was two hours after my sign in and there 16 people in front of me. When it got down to 1 person ahead of me I left my house and arrived at the urgent care 3 minutes before my 'estimated' appointment time. When I arrived someone got called into a room, so I checked to see if the system stated that I was next. It did not. 6 more people were called and the system still said that only 1 person was ahead of me. Two for X-rays so I understand that. I knew there would be some sort of wait but the online portal is extremely unreliable and inaccurate. At one point I heard the front desk lady tell a patient that only one person was ahead of him. She said the same to another woman a few minutes later. All the while the portal is saying only one person is ahead of me. One hour later and I'm still sitting in the waiting room waiting to be called. In addition, the waiting room is hot, if I would have known of the additional wait time I would've sat and waited in my car or AT HOME like I did for the previous two hours. read more

This place needs to be shut down. Disinterested, unprofessional office staff and medical assistant. Receptionist was on Facetime while she check us in! There was a huge dead roach in the hallway. The medical assistant walked right by it and did nothing. When I told the nurse practitioner about the roach, she said, "Welcome to Florida." The exam room was dirty with wrappers on the floor and overflowing from the trash can. The nurse practitioner provided a misdiagnosis of the flu with NO flu symptoms and sent me to a 24 hour pharmacy 30 minutes away for medicine I could have gotten over the counter. We were charged $193 for the visit instead of just the copay. I filed a report with the insurance company, and they are seeking a refund of the overpayment on our behalf. read more

Had "save space on line", where they would contact you at home when they were ready for you; but they never called. Decided to go there. Arrived at 3:40 pm. Receptionist said we just made it; 3:45 was "her" last patient. If we hadn't left our house and gone there when we did, the place would have been closed. Husband was there for a PCR test because of a cough and a cold. At no time, did the PA check his lungs or throat. This took place Sunday afternoon. At about 3:30 pm on Wednesday, I suggested that my husband call them for the results of the Covid test. They were supposed to call him, which they didn't. I knew I had a sinus infection and was in need of antibiotics. My primary had no availability so I came here. I gave them a call to make an appointment. The receptionist told me to just walk in because they were empty. I was there within fifteen minutes. Once you go to any MD Urgent Care, you are in their database~which means any of their locations has access to your records. Once I arrived there was no paperwork to fill out. All they did was verify my insurance. Super easy. Within minutes I was in a room waiting for the doctor. As I was waiting, Rocco took my vital signs. He was professional, easygoing and very friendly. I met with Dr. Tai Vo. He answered my questions, confirmed I have a sinus infection and prescribed an antibiotic. Dr. Vo was great. Rocco came back and asked me if I would like my script sent to my pharmacy. I said yes and he sent it over to them electronically. MD Now sells my prescribed medication at a higher cost and must be paid for in cash. Insurance is not accepted on any medications. The office is clean and the staff is efficient and helpful. I had a great experience and will not hesitate to return. Appointments can be made online if you use their app. They are open seven days a week from 8am to 8pm. Went here because on a .gov site listed as a "test to treat" site for COVID. Was able to get PCR test [results in up to 2 days] No treatment. Dr Berry seemed like he was just playing the part. He said this office could do nothing b/c they have no equipment to test for dehydration nor other testing like a CT scan or x-rays. ( why would you need xrays for a virus) He suggested going to an ER or treating symptoms with Tylenol. read more

MD now is by far the most unprofessional, incompetent and dishonest community based urgent care center I have experienced in my 74 years. When I entered one of their facilities, I inquired as to whether there would be a charge for a testing service. I was told emphatically no, that there would be no charge. In a matter of months, I was billed for the service that I received from them anyway, despite being told there would be no charge. I have called and been in touch with the building supervisor for months, and all I get is promises that something will be done. I have for four days this week left messages for Amy, the billing manager. She still has not returned my calls. A company cannot just ride rough shot over clientele at their own discretion. Something should be done about this rogue company who feels they are not accountable to their clients. read more

Great experience when I had serious ear pain. I filled out all the forms online. It asked how long it would take me to get there, and said I would receive a text when they were ready for me. The text came in about 30 minutes. I drove over and was taken immediately. The medical providers were excellent, and I left with antibiotic drops. If you go there, be sure to fill out the online forms first, with your travel time. read more

The website states that people can go for routine lab work. I called the main MD NOW and they confirmed that I didn't need an appointment and that all MD NOW practices can do routine blood work. As it was a cholesterol test, I fasted. Got there at 8am. Emmanuel behind the desk was very nice and explained that MD NOW does not do routine lab work, but he would try to see what he could do. An hour and a half later, I was called in by the MA (who did not give his name and was unfriendly), who started asking me my symptoms and taking my blood pressure and oxygen levels. I explained that I was there for routine labs work and apparently I was going to be charged an urgent care visit for this to happen. NO WAY! I left - hungry and with no routine lab work done. Again, Emmanuel was very nice, but never explained that I would be charged for an urgent care visit. More importantly, while the website states that routine lab work can be done at any location and this is not true. The website should be updated and all employees on their phone bank should give out correct information. read more

Never never go to MDUrgent Care... EVER The office I went to was on Atlantic Ave in Delray Beach. They are so incredibly incompetent I'm amazed I still have the finger the PA sutured. I returned 2 days later because the cut was not properly cleaned. And the day I was incorrectly sutured I had to go to my pharmacy to get a tetanus shot because they are always out & by the time they found another MDUrgent care office I already took mine. And I had to call their customer service because the antibiotics they said they ordered wasn't. The doctor who saw me the second time and doubled up on the antibiotics told me if the cut didn't heal I should go to hospital er & have a hand surgeon redo the stitches. I should have left there and gone straight to an er instead of waiting to see if my sliced finger was going to heal. I still have to return to MDUrgent Care so I can then go to an er without having to pay an astronomical copay. What a waste of my time in the extreme. read more

So I cut my hand. Not a big deal except I had not had a tetanus booster in over 10 years. Since I was not in my primary care city, I decided to use this urgent care. From my initial phone call to discharge everyone was friendly and efficient. My hand was treated by a PA (wound cleaning, bandaging) and given a booster shot by the nurse type person (don't know what her credentials are). I read the negative reviews. This place is good for what it is; Urgent Care. You are not going to get a considered diagnosis for an unknown condition, nor will the provider know you or your history. Note: The PA applied a butterfly (wound closer) and was not happy with the closure. He reapplied a different size butterfly without me asking. I have no complaints about the provider caring. All I can say is that they told me in advance it would take about one hour and fifteen minutes and I was out in 1:09. The place was clean. Everyone was friendly. They took my insurance and my copay was $10. I was treated and discharged. I would recommend this location. The reason for four stars is they made me wait for about 15 minutes after my hand was treated before I was given the booster shot. I can live with that. read more

After waiting 65 minutes I finally got to see a doctor who spent under 3 minutes with me. She told me the MA's thermometer was getting funky readings. Then she couldn't her hers to work. After shaking it a bit my temp was 96.7. I came in very sick with a very sore throat and blisters in my mouth. She checked everything but my throat. Said it was viral and sent me on my way. 2 days later,still not feeling better I went to a different clinic where the doctor spent time with me and prescribed an antibiotic and anti inflammatory. 24 hours later I am feeling so much better. I will NEVER go back to That center. It seemed only the time mattered and not the patient. read more

This was by far the worst urgent care experience in my entire life. I waited for 3 hours for my 7 year old to get his ear checked. Long story short, there was only 3 people ahead of me, 2 of which where Covid tests - yes I made friends during this disaster of time spent. The lady at the front was nice, but on her cell phone the entire time, and didn't even try to explain why. The nurse was a sweet heart but the wait alone turned me away from this location. On sept 13 I went for a sinus issue I was having. The doctor was more concerned that it was Covid than I was. I am vaccinated and on sept 6 I had a Covid test done. Negative. My complaints were dismissed as the doctor felt I had Covid. I was given meds which 4 days later had not helped with my symptoms. Calling, calling, calling and I guess I'm not important anymore since I already paid. Nurse sent an urgent email stating that I needed new meds but I guess doctors don't read emails. We are not that important. I wish I had been well enough to drive there but I was not! No empathy, no follow through, no connections with patients. I had no idea that urgent care center could be so aloof to their patients needs. I don't recommend this place at all. I wish I could give a negative star. read more

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME! This place is an absolute joke. Went in on Monday for rib/abdominal pain. The PA examined me for 1 minute then sent me to another location to get an X-Ray. I got to the other location who was in a rush because they were closing soon. They did my X-ray then told me to leave. No results. They sent me a prescription for lidocaine patches (which can be purchased over the counter). I went in on Wednesday to get my results. I was asked to wait in the lobby. I waited in the lobby for 2 HOURS just for them to tell me that there had no results for me and nothing was in the system. If you want to waste your time - come to this location. You can sit there and watch them send IM's on their computer and joke with colleagues while you wait for the results that you pay up front for. This "business" is a joke and a scam. Nothing but a quick cash grab. You pay for something and get nothing in return. I should have gone to the hospital from the very beginning. Don't waste your time folks. I have already filed my complaint with corporate and will leave this same review on the West Delray location as well. read more

I NEVER write reviews, but after the terrible experience I had last night I felt it was needed... I visited near closing hours due to a 102 fever and all the symptoms of the flu. After being called in, the blood pressure machine broke and they had to take my blood pressure 5 times... After about a 20 minute gap of time Doctor Roofeh came in barely spoke to me, checked my breathing ONCE said I'll give you a flu test and WALKED OUT ANOTHER HALF HOUR PASSED (meanwhile we were now past closing, and I was the only patient there so I don't know what was taking so long)... Dr. Roofeh came in and asked me if my results came back. I proceeded to tell her no one had tested me for anything yet I had just been sitting there. She looked at me and said what do YOU want to do? Do YOU want antibiotics? How would I know I haven't been tested for anything? And why isn't the DOCTOR making the medical decisions... I told her I wanted the flu test as originally stated and she told me she doesn't usually give the test, but she will cause I asked for it. Now keep in mind she told me about 40 minutes prior she would get it for me. But at this point her doctors coat was off, and she was clearly ready to go home. The only saving grace of this appointment was Nurse Denise! Though because of Dr. Roofeh's lack of care and my almost 2 hour appointment of just sitting in my room not being tended to, I WILL NEVER RETURN!! read more

WORST EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE! DR. ADRIAN GOLGOTIU, MD is the most insensitive, rude, inconsiderate and could not WAIT TO GET ME OUT! Saying he had "OTHER PATIENTS"! I WILL NEVER RETURN! I will NEVER GO BACK TO MD NOW AGAIN! I walked in the door, and the receptionist was the ONLY ONE WHO WAS DECENT! The male medical assistant put the WRONG SIZE blood pressure cuff on my arm so it bruised. When he took down my symptoms, he acted like I was making them up! The doctor was the Worst! He walked in and asked me the same questions about my symptoms that he had ALREADY TOLD HIM. He looked in my nose and BARELY LISTENED TO MY CHEST. He said, "I sound fine and only have a post nasal drip and need Zyrtec D for decongestion. I told him I have been taking mucinex DM, ROBITOSIN DM, Tylenol, zyrtec 24 hour, and my albuterol inhaler and nebulizer! I told him I was going on TWO WEEKS of being sick, and it ALWAYS GOES INTO MY CHEST, and I ALWAYS GET BRONCHITIS without prednisone. I told him it was the only thing that makes the croup go away. He said, "no", and WALKED OUT THE DOOR IN THE MIDDLE OF ME TALKING TO HIM! WHEN HE CAME BACK, he said, "With my other meds, prednisone is not an option and will NOT PRESCRIBE IT," and walked out on me AGAIN. I called my primary and told her what happened at MD NOW, and to please send it to target cvs. The medical assistant came back in with my DISCHARGE PAPERS and said the MD NOW DOCTOR (ADRIAN GOLGOTIU) ordered the prednisone! Don't go here! I was sent by my doctor here for a covid test. After telling the receptionist, nurse and even a doctor, I was only there for a covid test, they billed me $159 for a doctors visit. I have called them 4 times waiting as much as 30 minutes to speak with someone in the billing department. She took her time to explain what is going on with me and took prevention measure's by checking out all possible DX. If I could leave this place -5 stars I would. DO NOT SIGN PAPERS HERE. My brother had an infection on his face that required urgent care. Signed the papers and was taken to the back only for the doctor to take 1 look at his face and say that he needed to go to the hospital. Was charged $130 dollars. Manager refused to issue him a refund. Told him she was being nice and giving him a 20% discount ($130 is with the discount). IT DOES NOT TAKE A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL TO KNOW THAT YOU HAVE TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL. That is an immoral and unethical way to do business. I went in with a skin problem, the doctor who saw me was very old, which was a red flag... not to judge a book..., but at that age i would think a capable doctor would either already have a well established practice or be retired. But I digress... he had no idea what the problem was, he asked what I thought it was and he asked what I wanted him to do about it. He said he could could do this ... or try that... conveying absolutely no confidence or assurance as to the diagnosis or the remedy. I walked... no... ran out of the office so quickly in fact, I had left my jacket behind. I ended up going to Balshi Dermatology down the street, who readily diagnosed me with severe facial cellulitis and sending me to the hospital where I remained for 5 days! I would highly recommend this facility to everyone! The front desk person was cordial and professIonal. She answered our questions thoroughLu. There were patients ahead of us and knew that we would have to wait our turn which was reasonable. When we were called back, the "nurse" was friendly and professional and advised us the doctor would be in when finished with patient ahead of us. Doctor Diaz came in, introduced himself, and listened to my "issues". He was kind, knowledgeable and professional. He did not rush me and diagnosed my condition and provided the appropriate care. If I could give no stars, I would. I visited this clinic 10/2020. I spent 10 minutes in the office for the doctor to tell me that I did not have covid (even though they didn't test me). Okay fine. I gave them my insurance and I don't think about it again. In May, I receive a statement saying insurance didn't pay due to deductible so I send them a check from my HSA instantly. I call a week later to follow up and make sure that they received it. They said they had not but they would follow up if they don't get it. A few months pass, and I don't hear anything, so I am thinking everything is all set. In September I receive another statement & I'm baffled, at this point it's been 4 months since I sent the check. So first, I reached out to my HSA because it shows on my end that the check was sent and deducted from the acct, I call to let them know there's an error, they give me the run around & finally give me a fax number to send proof, which I do. I don't hear anything back. I keep calling (I work during the time they are open so it's hard) & I keep asking someone to call no one ever does. I called and expressed my frustration and asked for a manager. Nothing. I receive another statement in October. Call again, NOTHING. Finally I called today and let them know I just wanted to take care of the bill because I'm tired of dealing with them, they said I can pay online. I explained to them, the payment option was not available online & they basically said that's impossible. I asked them to take the payment over the phone & they were unable to. Finally I told them I would stop by and pay & I go into the office, the front desk girl was not welcoming & she goes "we don't take payments here" and gives me corporate's number. The same number I've been calling for months. I called back finally and was able to run the payment but wow what a disaster. I would not recommend anyone ever come here. Waited 2 hours to be seen which I don't mind when I told the doctor my symptoms he basically printed out for me on a computer what I told him I had, when I asked him for a note for my job he said the company policy is 24 hours for a sick note, I have never even heard of something like this, I was clearly super sick with a virus. He then told me if I wanted a note for another day to come back so I can pay another $50.00 copay or go to the nearest emergency room. My husband and I have made four visits here since January. Every time the receptionist was so friendly and helpful. Never made us feel anything but welcomed and cared for. The nurses were the same. The three different doctors we saw listened and offered treatment as they deemed necessary. They listened to us and offered help. The checkout was awesome--assures is to come back if we didn't feel better. I highly recommend this facility and plan to go there when we are down for the winter. read more

This place is ridiculous! I first went for an employee drug test and they told me the only person who could do the test left for the day. I went back the next day, and they LOST the test! I went three times today and at 3:00 they stopped taking patients for the day! I said they lost my test but would not even listen! Sent me to Linton and no parking spaces! Yesterday, October  28th, I went to MD Now for a simple blood test. In order to actually get the blood test you must first see their "practitioner ."I was sitting alone, no other patients for over a half hour. I had to leave for another obligation and returned later that day when the office was full. Eventually I was called only to be placed in another office for another 1/2 hour before I could see the PA. The PA asked if besides the blood test I had anything else bothering me. I said yes, but I was told that you don't do ultrasounds and I just wanted to know that a slight pain in my leg wasn't a blood clot. She measured both my legs and said probably not a blood clot as both legs were the same size and blood clots cause swelling. She said she was going to recommend a place that would do the ultrasound. I said I am seeing a Dr. from Holy Cross on Monday. She said unless I agree to go to her person she would not release me without my signing a waiver which I agreed to do. Finally, I got my simple blood draw and left the office. I felt seeing the PA and having to sign a release was just a way of MD NOW trying to scam every last dollar from me. Not a great feeling. The blood report came the next morning. Excellent service for the results. I left my home for two hours and returned to 5 calls saying, "based on their review of my lab results I should get to the emergency room." I tried nine(9) times to call their office without ever being able to speak with anyone from the MD NOW office in West Delray Beach on Military Trail. They didn't answer their phone even for a supervisor who kindly tried to reach them. Today is Saturday Oct. 28th. I finally got through to The office in West Delray. The person I spoke with said she couldn't read the lab report nor could anyone else in their office. The PA was currently with 4 patients and couldn't get back with me. That is my experience at MD NOW. Why would anyone ever want to go there for medical treatment of any nature when this is what they put you through just to get a blood draw? read more
