Loved my NP, she even made me feel comfortable that if I was not better they would see me back in their office in a few days. That was the case, so I called to find out that I would need to PAY another $75 fee even though it was a follow up from last weeks appointment. I should have got my money back when I was in the office last week when they told me that they could not do the culture that they told me over the phone that they could (as my doctor requested of them). So she called in more antibiotics for sinus infection and here I am still sick 5 weeks later (5 days later after my MD Now appointment). My primary sent me to Urgent care and this "Urgent Care", DOES NOT CARE. Do not waste your time or money here. Now I need to find an ENT who can see me asap or go to the ER (and spend even more $ for a sinus infection). read more

The front desk was too lazy to look that I had changed my insurance and she used my old insurance on file. Then I get a bill for double the amount I usually pay. I payed the bill confused while I was at a medical visit and the guys at the front said he couldn't help me because he doesn't have access to the billing but I could call the billing department. When I called they told me the woman had filed with the wrong insurance and that they will send it out and pay me back for the extra amount that I payed. I wanted 3 months to receive the check in the mail and nothing. I called today and they told me that no one had process my claim and that they would have to re-start and I would have to again wait 30-45 days to receive a check in the mail. Most likely a PA and she played it off as nothing while I had been constipated for days and my throat was on fire. She said have some miralax and you'll be better in a few days. I asked if I could get some antibiotics for my throat and she no and that I don't need them. That my throat issue was because of a nasal drip and will go away in a few days. Well, it has been 2 days and my throat is getting worse so I call today to see if I can get some antibiotics called in and they couldn't care less. I walked up to the window and told the young woman behind the desk that I hit my thumb with a hammer and I was bleeding there with a purple thumb. She told me to go to the ER. NEVER GO!! I went in for a infected wound. and tests.I waited over 2 hrs. okay I needed to be seen. I was.Dr viewed infected wound on hand from good distance. said ok. Immediately left room. I was told give urine also. while in room dr yelling I didn't leave urine in correct place. Wound never cleaned,flushed or inspected.Nurse came into room to check my blood pressure & heart rate.Didn't use machine properly 4 times. causing pain & inaccuracy in result. upon 4th time just accepted 4th reading. Returned with papers showing meds sent to pharmacy.I asked one was antibiotic? (because I recognized it) she said I think. I saw another medication and asked what was for?(seeing it said topical) nurse replied, maybe.I asked for medication to ensure good bacteria remain.Nurse said I don't know.Dr didn't return.I was given no paperwork for wound care, or how to find test results.Called next day was told to check a different website for test results they were too busy to give and hung up on! I am a teacher at a local school. I went in because I had a sinus issue and I was having trouble breathing, massive phlegm, and I lost my voice. I was coughing a little when I went in. I was prescribed amoxicillin, and I left. my cough became unbearable after the visit, and when I called back to see if I could get cough medicine called in to my pharmacy, I was disrespected by the receptionist. She told me they won't prescribe codine cough medicine (I needed anything to help me sleep so I could go to work). She treated me as if I were a drug-seeking criminal! completely nasty attitude, and when I said I didn't appreciate it, she hung up. Sadly, I can't teach with no voice and no sleep. They also wanted me to return. pay another $50 because I didn't go in specifically for a cough. If anyone has had a sinus infection, coughs are a part of the symptoms. If you are going to any of MD Now locations just know that the do not offer appointments. The time you selected online is simply a way to get you in their door. I have never been treated so rudely and so unprofessionally at any medical facility. This MDNOW is absolutely unbelievable!! I was sent there by Sedgwick for a PREOP and was told I needed to go this one. I arrived on the evening of 9/03/21, the receptionist took my license told me to sit, about an hour later she told me they have no paperwork. I said I have it write here everything I can forward to you, no they didn't send it. But I need to have this done today (14 days before surgery), no. I left i tears it was labor day weekend, I had to wait till Tuesday, Sedgwick yes we sent the paperwork, "I spoke to EVA the manager and she should have allowed you to forward everything.No she refused. You need to go back to day this preop needs to be done your surgery is on9/07/21. Went back down on evening of 9/07 waited two hours. I asked when I was next, 4 people before you. A woman came in with 3 boys. Took them right in I asked, and was told, they are covid swabs, they are quick. Finally it was my time what a hurtful experience. The doctor never examined me, asked me ridiculous questions. Chest x-ray was done, urinalisis, as I was in room "they started to talk, you know These preops, take too long, like that prop down the hall, we could have done 50 covid swabs, etc. It gets better!!!! I can not make this up!!! I was taken to have blood drawn, the nurse filled two vials, one with white stuff in it, my blood starting slowing down, "oh I do not have the patience for this for third vial, I will just take some from other vial, I have never heard of this. Then went for EKG, maybe 20 seconds, wait I have to show it to the doctor, cam back its fine. On June 13, went to my surgeon, have a readable voice mail for MD now you need to come back in blood was clotted in one vial, no duh. I called, asked if I had to wait another 2 hours, yes you can not skip anyone, really? I know why blood clotted? Well this is your problem if you want prop clearance? Drove from Jupiter to this disgusting dirty WEBMD third time, sat down, my husband was with me this time. I was finally brought in 1.5 hours later was stuck 3 times she could not get a vein, I said you have to get this done I have surgery in 4 days. Nope, I refused to leave. Finally a man came in and first time got blood. Now on 9/16, I get a call , my EKG is abnormal, what????, my surgery was cancelled for 9/17. You could have a heartattack, really but on 9/07 my EKG was fine, and I did not have another one. I have that stupid healow app, see a Mario Stefan modiied my EKG on 13, and I did some research, his practice is closed and has/is being sued for medical malpractice!!! WOW GREAT JOB WEBMD!!! GREAT TEAM YOU HAVE THERE !NICE JOB of screwing up my labs and surgery. OH GUESS WHAT, I know of 3 other patients with the same surgeon who went to WEBMD all of us have abnormal EKG two have been cleared!! Can not stand this place! I've been meaning to update this but just now getting to it. Right after I wrote that first review I was called in. I want to say, everyone there was so kind and friendly. Yes, I was there for about 2 hours but I needed x-rays and the Dr took her time explaining things to me. I guess when you think about it. Unfortunately, even when you go to your regular Dr appointments these days, your wanting for 20 minutes or more to be seen. I think I was a bit annoyed because I was tired, cold, and in pain. The guy on the phone scheduled my appointment, urging me to wait closer to Christmas to get my covid test since I'm only getting it to keep my family safe. I've been to this MD Now Urgent Care a few times. At the end of the day, if you don't feel well & can't get into your primary doctor for an appointment & you don't want to go to the emergency room then this is the place to go to. You can almost always expect to be here for at least an hour. It's a super clean facility & the receptionists, doctors, & nurses are nice for the most part. The only things I have to complain about are as follows - 1. When you actually see the doctor, they rush. I've noticed this every time I go. They take a quick look at you & do doctor routine stuff & diagnose you super quick & your on your way. But I feel like the nurses care more / ask way more questions than the actual doctors themselves. The longest I've spent with a doctor at MD Now is 10 minutes. 2. I've never had a problem like this before but I recently went to MD Now because I have a severe cold & they diagnosed me and sent 3 prescriptions to my local pharmacy. So immediately after, I went to my pharmacy to grab my medicine so I can go home & feel better & when I got to the pharmacy only one of my prescriptions was called in. I called MD Now 4 times & each time someone reassured me that they re-sent my prescriptions. They never got there. The pharmacist tried to get in touch with MD Now & SUPPOSEDLY he could not get a hold of anyone. So two of my prescriptions finally "arrived" after an hour of waiting & I never got the third one. So, would I recommend MD Now? Maybe. Go try it for yourself maybe you will love it maybe you won't. But if you could see your primary doctor or if it's really really bad I recommend the ER. read more

Two trips to MD Now today and I'm positive for Flu. I'll never be going back there again!! They didn't even look in my throat this morning or suggest a flu test after I described my symptoms. They put me on zpack and sent me on my way. I even had to ask for cough syrup bc they didn't suggest that either even though that was my worst symptom at the time. Said they sent the prescriptions to publix, however almost an hour later publix still didn't have them and had to call MD now to get them. Fast forward a few hours later and temp is 102.4. I call back and ask for a flu test. They told me I should go to ER. I insisted I wanted to come back because I did not feel like I was fully examined the first time I was there. They said okay that I could come back for the flu test. The tech who did my test was incredibly annoyed that I was back and so rude like I was wasting her time for coming back. I know I should have asked for a flu test this morning but I assume when I go to the doctor that they know what they're doing!!! The second time I went back I even had to ask them to take my temp!!! They weren't even going to do it. By the time I left for the second time, my pharmacy was now closed so my poor husband has to drive to Loxahatchee for a 24 hour pharmacy to get the tamiflu. Moral of the story is: if you're considering using MD now, stay away from this location!!!! read more

I'd give zero if possible. Covid test on Monday - Friday 3p still no results even thought I was told two days. I've emailed and called their lab with no answers and no results. When I called MDNow was transferred to this local office - they have left me on hold for over 20 minutes - not checked back with status - nothing! I'm waiting for results to take antibiotics. DON'T GO HERE!!! STILL ON HOLD!! MDNow responses to other complaints is bogus - "send email to info@mdnow" that is no way to treat patients!!! read more

The only reason this isn't two stars is because of the efficient, compassionate care I received from the intake nurse, Shereena and the very clean and comfortable facility. I've been to two other MDNows and had excellent service and care. There was only 1 person ahead of me and I waited 45 minutes to see the doctor. He walked in, gowned, gloved and masked, didn't introduce himself or ask who I was and said - What's wrong, do you want some cough syrup with codeine? He spent 2 more minutes with me - ears and throat - then was gone. Another nurse came in 15 minutes to get the pharmacy info for prescriptions. If you already suspect what's wrong and only need the meds and you've got an hour, this is the place to go. No actual real doctors, which is why they fly in the room and fly back out of the room never even getting within 5 feet of anyone. Hiya. I went in Sunday (4-19-15) for a case of Cellulitis that turned into an abscess (in two different spots on my skin) that needed to be cut open and drained in order to removed the infection. It was a nasty situation and it was quite painful. The bedside manner, gentle touch, and knowledge of the doctor who worked on me, Dr. Serap Oktay, was amazing. She was outstanding and I would follow her anywhere! I went back in on Tuesday (48 hours later) as instructed and the PA Nicole G. saw to my care. She, also, was amazing, knowledgeable and gentle. This review concerns Nico, the "medical assistant". I brought my friend here on 9/4/2018 for treatment for an injury. Nico entered the exam roo, never introduced himself, never acknowledged the patient (my friend) and the entire time Nico had a "white stick" hanging out of his mouth. We were guessing it was a lollipop stick. Then when Nico assisted the doctor in treating my friend's wound, Nico had gloves on, but during a "lull" in the treatment, Nico scratched his head with the sterile gloves! I brought my husband in on Wednesday due to dehydration. The facility was nice and clean, the staff was very friendly. My husband was very worried that since he was so dehydrated, they would not be able to give him IV medication. The Medical Asst Brandon got his IV started on the first try. Dr Welliver was very nice and wanted to make sure that he was in no pain, felt hydrated before letting me take my husband home. The entire staff was very concerned, sweet and pleasant! I even got a call the next day to check on him, now I call that customer service!!! WE will definetly be back in the future!! read more

I don't suggest this location. I will admit that this is the only location that I've been to. The receptionist was told of my symptoms and asked if I had a shortness of breath and I told her that yes I was. They still took in 3 patients ahead of me. When they finally called me to the back, I was left in a room in the back for at least 10 minutes. The guy that came in and did vitals says the receptionist said you didn't answer her when she asked you are you short of breath,so are you? Let's not get it confused, he was not rude like she was. The doctor finally came in around 5 minutes after he did and asked me of my symptoms . I told her about the symptoms and she told me they will get me two shots. She then exited the room. She came back like 10-15 minutes later and asked how I'm feeling. I let her know nobody still hadn't given me anything. She exited again I heard the guy tell her no,nobody went in there. He also had to ask her how many milligrams to administer to me . By the way I'm having an allergic reaction. Nobody was attentive to my situation . The worst place to get COVID test. Took my daughter to get tested. The nurse who did it didn't go in deep enough and she didn't swab each side long enough. It is supposed to be at least 10-15 seconds on each side but it was done in 2-3 seconds. When I asked her about not going in deep enough, she said that is how she was trained and that's how they do it here. I went to the front stating that if this is how it is done here, I would like to have the test discarded so I can just go somewhere else that would do it properly. The one who was supposedly in charge said that the reason why they don't go in as deep anymore because they've got a lot of complaints, so that is their new protocol now. I told her I work as an RN in the hospital. I swab patients everyday. We followed current guidelines and still go in pretty deep. She insisted that's how they do it there. I said okay, I just want my daughter's swab to be discarded so I could go somewhere else but I was told no. Stay away from this place if you want an accurate results and not False negative!!! read more
