By far the worst service ever! We have contacted them several times, I have emailed their office and their manager and it has been 2 weeks and I still don't have any resolution. I moved into a new house and I called MD Services because all my neighbors were using them. Figured they must be okay. Well... it's been a month and I still have not received my garbage or recycling can from them. I had to buy a garbage can just so I could have something. It has been emptied but if I don't receive my garbage cans - I will be canceling and going with someone else. I've called their office every week. Each week it's the same excuse, "I have a guy delivering and I don't know where you are on the list." Please! I'll adjust rating if I actually receive the cans. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ON THE PLANET! Stay away from this company. The driver who picks up the trash lied about the amount of trash left out and refused to pick up trash even after I offered to help him. PLEASE never call the office they won't answer and the receptionist is extremely rude! They really don't care about any of your concerns or complaints and don't care if you switch to another company. DO NOT do business with this company. After one year of living at my current home and using their "service", our experience started poorly and ended even worse. They frequently could not find payments we sent on time and then they charged extra for late payments. When we contacted their "customer service" they were rude and accused us of being at fault for everything we rightfully complained about, if they even bothered to pick up the phone AT ALL.. When you get tired of their crap and want to terminate service, they say they can't find any record of receiving a deposit. Wow. That's surprising. The previous tenant of the home we bought said the same thing. You can't find any record of deposit, MD Systems? That's too bad, because we can! We have bank statements and cancelled checks, and we will gladly be showing these to the Better Business Bureau. read more

The pick up is fine. The office staff is horrible. The phone is only answered 1 out 4 times. when it is answered they are rude and uncooperative. For more than a year I did not receive an invoice but lots of nasty late notices. now I am getting an invoice every month when the payment is only due once a quarter. I called to inquire about the status of my account, asked for billing and the guy who would not give me his name said that was not his job. I asked who I should talk to and he said "I don't know". many phone calls later I found out I'm several months ahead on payments. I would not recommend this company. read more

Don't use their service! I have had them for years and they continually miss my recycle pickup date. I have to pull trash out to pull it back in (association will not let it stay on the street). When I moved and called to provide a forwarding address, I was told I would have to transport my trash cans to the new residence. Once moved, they didn't pick up all week (recycle or regular). When I called to inquire why they had not picked up they didn't have any record of the change of address. Do they not have a computer system? The previous owner had the same system, but because they hadn't paid their bill, MD refused to pick up at my house. This has gone on for three weeks. I've called and left messages which are not responded to by any personnel at MD Systems. When I finally got ahold of them the response was "we will check into it"... NOT I'm sorry for the inconvenience OR I'll get someone out there right away to pick it up, nothing.... When I asked about cancelling she said that there would be no refund. This is July and I am required to pay in quarterly increments. That means that I just paid them for July, August & September. Is she really telling me that they can renege on the contract to pickup trash at my residence twice a week and I still can't receive a refund of 2 1/2 months? This company is a joke....I have a message into the manager/owner to fight but from what I have already hear/read it will be pointless. Be careful! read more

Worst attitude for customer service. For some unknown reason they did not pick up the trash, When we called two days later. "oh, no you are too late to let us know, we have to find out and call you back." never received a call. So I took out trash to county dump station and paid $10. (hassle). A week later they picked up everybody else's but ours. Called before the end of the day. He had no idea why, bad attitude:" It's not gonna happen". I said would you have the manager call me, : "It's not gonna Happen." I said it's going to happen or I will cancel. " Okay, we'll cancel you then." Like there is no, none, zip, zero training on customer satisfaction. I would have felt better, if right off the bat he would have said' f*** you go find a service somewhere else. It was a wow moment. Looking for some other alternatives. You do that, too, please. You will be happier in long run. read more

Communication and customer service is non-existing. The pick up crew do a good job. They do not notify customers if they are changing pick up days. They post it on their website and expect customers to find it there. read more

These are the RUDEST people!!. If for any reason you feel the need to go to their office......Don't. There are two chairs. The, Very Casually Dressed, Office Manager / Receptionist, sits in one chair and a young man sits in the other across from her. Neither will get up and offer you a seat to conduct business, such as paying your bill. You're lucky if you get a greeting much less a grunt, acknowledging your presence. You are made to feel like a nuisance. The owner and/or General Manage blames his customers, when his Team destroys your expensive trash cans. He is very aggressive and comes off as a bully, unless you stand up to him. If you want the service you pay for completed properly, you need to be present during your "once a week" pick up. This company is one of two to choose from in this area. It's a hassle to change, so I recommend, you try the other company first. I think they are called Tiger. read more

BEWARE!!! The ABSOLUTE WORST SERVICE. --0 STARS. It is IMPOSSIBLE to find a worse company. The customer service is the HORRIFIC, when they actually answer the phone. They need to be put out of business. I called because they did not pick up my trash on 3/23/2017 AGAIN and the employee who said he was a manager was the rudest person I have ever talked to. He questioned me and defended his driver saying he would not miss your trash. Well he did--AGAIN. He told me "we will pick it up next week at your regular time and if you don't like that you can (bad word) go somewhere else" then slammed down the phone. I am filing a report with the Better Business Bureau. My experience isn't unique from what I am now reading on this site and others. I will be shopping for other services TODAY. I've been with MD Systems for over 5 years now. Sometimes there are issues with contacting the office but I leave a message or I pay by mail or online. If I have an issue, I ask for a manager. I know that no business is perfect, I have trouble with many other companies but as long as I am appreciated as a customer that's all that matters. read more

Had a very difficult time talking to the staff including the manager. They were very, very rude. Only way to resolve problem was to go in person and let them know there are other companies we can have pick up our trash. Had to pick up our own trash can from them which was supposed to have been delivered 2 weeks prior. Every time you talk to them, they change their story. Stay away from them. read more

What a horrible business with poor customer service. Just moved into my house. The old owner left a bunch of stuff for the trash when we moved in. The following week after unpacking we had several boxes full of packing material and some other odds and ends. I knew it was a lot so I left water out for the guys. I get home to find they dumped the two trash cans took two boxes and left the rest. I called the office to see what was going on and left a message that wasn't returned. A couple hours later I call and get please hold and was put on hold. After 5 mins I hung up and did some work and called back two other times just to get their machine. I went to their office that afternoon and spoke with their customer service rep haha. She said the driver said that the last two weeks there was a lot of stuff. I explained that the first week wasn't our stuff so she took my number and said she would call back after taking to the driver. I knew she wasn't gonna call back so I called another company who came out the next day and took the trash so I went to the office to cancel my service and she is all oh your the guy in here bitching about trash yesterday huh. If I could give 0 stars I would. We have had MD systems since March 2014 - they were find until earlier this year when they informed us they would be picking up our trash and recycling the same day. I watched nearly every week, and saw them put the trash and recycling in the same truck....remind me again why I'm paying for trash and recycling again? My entire neighborhood rec'd a letter in the mail dated 12-23 on 12-26 informing us our last pickup day would be 12-25 and since that was a holiday it would be moved to 12-26, a Saturday. One of the other residents in our neighborhood who moved in recently said that MD systems told them last month they'd be discontinuing service in the area so they wouldn't be able to sign her up. They obviously knew about this quite some time ago, so why they waited until the very last minute to tell their existing customers is beyond me.....Terrible customer service, stay far away! read more
