Several years ago we had ARR replace our garage and outbuilding roofs, and we were so satisfied with the work we brought them back for our main house roof. Kornell and his team are fastidious and expert in what they do, resulting in a beautiful finished product. I was impressed by the meticulous cleanup, even. He is passionate about the quality of the materials he and his team are using, and his team works adeptly and efficiently. My husband and I couldn't be more pleased with a job well done (and I'm a picky designer!!).

We happened to call Palace Roofing at a time when there was some flexibility in his schedule, so he was able to have someone come out and do the job for us THE SAME DAY. Amazing. Old house which we had been putting off a roof replacement and Dogwood Roofing treated our house like it was there. I could not be any happier and have already recommended them to our friends/neighbors. Most quotes gave us the "internet" price which was using satellite images, but Todd came out, walked our roof, and gave us the best recommendations/advice. During the install, there were updates with before and after photos, quality materials that exceeded other quotes, and just great oversight/comfort with the whole team! They were usually 2-4 hours late in arrival time. The water heaters were plumbed incorrectly- he used the wrong couplings, tubing and also installed improperly. He turned the pressure up to 160 (60 is the max per professionals). The valve had to be replaced and we paid $1,000 to a master plumber to re - plumb correctly and replace the valve. The ceiling fan was wired backward. They would not return my calls or text when I asked them to come fix it. Very poor quality and customer service.

I'm pretty upset to find that I've been recommending DeKalb Roofing for the last few years and I…read moreshould not have. DeKalb Roofing did a complete reroof for me in 2022. Recently I got a couple of quotes to have the soffit and fascia replaced on my house. I started seeing mold in areas which I'd never seen before. One of the roofing companies that I asked for a quote told me that my new roof doesn't include a drip edge. I've never heard of a drip edge. I have read up on it now and know that it is a code item in DeKalb County. It prevents water from intruding into your soffit, hence stopping mold from growing. It also helps keep rodents out. I called DeKalb Roofing and was told that I was probably "offered" the drip edge but I declined. Hogwash. I still have their original quote for my roof replace and nowhere does it say drip edge. I'm now faced with paying over $5,000 as the cost to add the drip edge is considerably higher after the roof is completed. I don't like being deceived. I have to have some kind of trust in contractors that they will tell me what's code. Instead of cutting corners and charging huge sums like they're doing the right thing. I really don't know how they sleep at night.

We couldn't have found a better crew, or owners. A tree limb fell on the house within a month or two. I called Jeffery and he was out the next day, removing the limb and repairing it himself.
