It's a basic full-facilities rest area along I-75. Not sure who was bored enough to add it Yelp. Generally clean.

He told me he owned the parking lot (he specifically said parking lot) and that I needed to leave. I told him I was waiting for my family and we were going to eat at the restaurant. He said the restaurant wasn't open and I needed to leave. I asked if the restaurant opened in 10 minutes (now technically 7 minutes as I looked at the clock) and he said yes, but its not open yet, and I needed to leave. Completely confused I asked if I could wait here 7 minutes until it opened. He said no, I needed to leave. So I left and we ate somewhere else! Do not go here unless you want to be told to leave!

The dinner, we both ordered fish and chips which came with salad or cole slaw, we took the cole slaw.. what should have been the mayo on the slaw, we still arent sure what it was...it has a certain viscosity ...brrr and tasted awful. I ordered a shrimp cocktail, it came out and was freezer burnt and an aweful taste.. I ate one and my husband tried one to see what all my huffing was about.. thats all he ate also. The fish was frozen then fried pieces and it looked and tasted like it was fried in OLD grease. The taste was discusting. Do yourself a favor, skip this place.

My room was warmly decorated in Lodge style furnishings and clean, plush bedding. There was even a cute Moose rug next to my bed! My room was very clean and cleaning staff were friendly and helpful and brought me towels, kleenex, and extra coffee supplies with a smile. The place is very peaceful and I so enjoyed the tranquil pond views and watching and feeding the ducks and geese. I will recommend this place to everyone I know who travels to this area of Michigan. The LA Cafe restaurant is right next door with great food, baked goods and expresso coffee drinks. Convenient! I saw the previous bad reviews from a few individuals and can only imagine that they are not happy in many areas of their life. This place, the owners, Tim and his Mom, and their excellent staff are peaceful loving service oriented gems in the world of hospitality! All American Good old fashioned service at it's best! I salute you for the wonderful place you have created.

This Hyatt House is perfect for a night after a concert at Pine Knob. It's about a 15 minute drive…read moreto the venue, and they even have a contact for a driver who makes loops between the hotel and Pine Knob for concerts. I think it's $40 per person, so a bit pricey, but a nice option for those who don't want to drive. We were able to check in right when we arrived around 4 and I was so happy with the room - it was clean and super cold! There's a pool, fitness center, bar, free breakfast, snacks for sale, an outdoor patio area, and I think it's dog-friendly. We got a drink at the bar and the bartender was friendly and quick with service. They even have a menu of food you can order for your room (pizza, salads, burgers, etc.). The room had a coffee maker, fridge, and microwave and the bed was super comfortable. I'd definitely stay here again for another Pine Knob concert in the future.

This hotel really struck me by surprise. And a good and bad way. When we arrived, I was excited…read morebecause it's near a beautiful mall, Great Lakes Crossing with many attractions and stores. However, within the hotel, there were some issues... The room was dark like there were lamps, but it still felt very dark. The room was extremely clean however there were some stains on the sheets during a really heavy rain storm. We were laying down when all of a sudden there was a knock on the door. It was the maintenance man. He asked if he could come into the room and check and see if there was a leak. I was not dressed properly and I said I'll check. I will check the bathroom and I checked the window and I didn't see anything. A few moments later, we received a call from the front desk demanding that they enter the room once again, I was not dressed properly nor was anyone in my party. We found a male in our party to come up to the room to which they entered with the male present and noticed that there was in fact water on the carpet by the window. This water had caused a leak into the room below ours from the intense rainstorm. I'd like to note throughout this entire process a refund was never offered. An apology was given for having to enter our room so abruptly, however a refund was never offered. As a female traveler who often travels alone. I was very disappointed that the front desk staff didn't understand why I didn't want a mysterious person entering my room. Because of the wet floor, we were never offered a refund. We were never offered anything complementary which really disappointed me as a Hilton rewards member. Overall, besides this experience, they have a complementary free breakfast, but I was just disappointed in the lack of apology or compensation following this experience. I hope the people below us receive from form of room change or compensation as their rule receive the The leak do the intense rain storm. I guess I should also mention there is a fitness center. There are computers with printing access and Internet and there is a swimming pool. There are also meeting rooms and a bar.

I payed the $5 for the upgraded internet and it was well worth it for the lightning-fast speeds. I tried out the pool and waded waist deep, but it was small, cold and nothing special. I really wished they had a hot tub. It was nice to have the little shop downstairs to get water during the evening. They also have a nice selection of snacks and microwavable if you don't want to go anywhere. The only problem was the people above us. Kids running back and forth and slamming into the walls throughout the day and night, making it hard to get a good nights sleep. I really wish they would put large families of kids on the lower floors and put singles and adult couples higher up, so they don't have to be tortured by noise. for $185 a night it was pretty nice.

Service was just ok, she seemed rushed even though it wasn't crowded. Worth a second trip, the menu is extensive.

My first time here and it was quite good!…read more We ordered calamari and it was calamari strips and not calamari rings. It didn't matter to me as I like all calamari but I do wish I knew it was served with green peppers - I get acid reflex from green peppers and the calamari just sitting on them is enough to start acid production. Thankfully I snagged the calamari on the top of the mound and hubby ate the calamari touching the peppers. The dipping sauce was kind of odd and I was not a fan. Hubby got French onion soup and enjoyed and I really liked the salad (forgot the name of it - it had dried cherries and pine nuts among other things). The bread was bread. Hubby could not stop eating it, I picked at a piece...but that is our bread relationship. Hubby got cedar plank fish for dinner and it was seasoned well. Delicious! I opted to just get another appetizer for my dinner - the ahi tuna with seaweed salad. Overall, everything was good and I would come back!
