After years of having birthday parties at home due to Covid restrictions and worry. We had my daughter's birthday party here. 20 kids and 21 adults around 6 bills. Staff were friendly and accommodating when we needed an extra table and making announcements to gather the kids together. They provided some juice boxes; we brought extra snacks and drinks, 7 pizzas from ledos and a cake. The whole experience was smooth and the kids were happy. That's all that matters. The secret is out...this is hands down THE best indoor playground for parents who want their kids to burn some energy and parents to get a little break. I had so much fun here (as a parent) and my littles had a great time too. There is a ball pit with a slide and best way to describe it -- a covered jungle gym with a slide and maze. Seating for parents is centralized so you can sit and watch your littles run around. They also have a little city, gaming section, and carousel "rides". They even have adult massage chairs! Parents, if you're in the area, this is a must do. It was a little out of the way for me, but so worth the travel. read more

Today my wife went to take our son as she normally does to the Me Land in Gaithersburg Maryland. Unfortunately, our son experienced aggressive and violent behavior from Karen who says she's the manager of the location. Our son has special needs and has been to this location many times with out issues. This time the experience was horrible, Karen snatched phones and threw them so our son couldn't' touch them, she laughed at our son when he became upset and started crying. This behavior is unacceptable and we as the parents are looking to take legal action and request the full name and videos be provided to us. This employee also blocked our phones so we can not call your business, Karen is not capable of being around children and needs to be terminated. Extremely disappointed. read more

Second review of Me Land Gaithersburg. They finally addressed/corrected the electrical hazards however, the absolute disgusting facility is just too much not to make another review. Floors, are covered in hair, food, trash. I have been there 3 times in the recent months and I have not seen the employees ever clean or even leave their desks. Secondly, the toys provided are not kept in working condition. Several the little cars have broken steering wheels and the little village area is clearly not being monitored for broken items (a toy register was literally snapped off and laying on the floor). Blinds in the entire facility are broken and bent (looks horrible). When you get to the upper sections of the climbing area, the dust is inches thick. I wonder if the county needs to inspect this facility for staph or other potential viruses. My honest opinion of anyone that gives this place a good review is because they are probably sitting on their phone and don't actually care or recognize these issues. read more

Daycare was closed. It was cold and windy out. We had no power, so no Mrs. Rachel I was desperate to entertain a one year old so I came here to get out energy before nap time. I was worried there might not enough there for a toddler. There definitely was. Admission was $16 for the day with in and out privileges for that day. One adult per kiddo. You fill out the waiver on your phone prior to entry. Once you are paid up you'll have to remove shoes and there are cubby holes available and then your child can run free under your supervision of course. They have a toddler area with soft blocks, a ball pit and these spinning things that remind me of the teacups at Disney Land. They also have a mini town where you can shop, dress up or ride in cars that is appropriate for littles. Then you have the big kid area with lots of climbing, slides, a public pool sized ball pit, and a large Lego land. This is the area my toddler kept running to. Luckily I am a shortie and I was able to supervise and follow on the obstacle courses. This place is largely clean they don't allow for food/beverages but I noticed a lot of gummy candies/wrappers around which I worry about with babies that put everything in their mouths. Other than keeping an eye out for that, it was a fun day and I have a tired kiddo!! read more

My daughter and her friends had a blast here for her 6th birthday party. They have several birthday packages and we picked the one for up to 15 kids one, that is in the open and shares a half wall with another party room. They provide a host, table cloths (basic one color), Set up and clean up, plates, napkins, and choice of juice box for the kids. They make you sign up in a sign up sheet to get accurate headcount and based on that is how much extra they will charge if you go above the count. Anyways, they added a new section with pretend room type places (reminds me the place at Muddy Branch Festival) and boy did every kid enjoy playing here and make sure to bring a towel or so to wipe their sweat! Its loud and can be overwhelming with blaring music too. The party room, thankfully, there isn't a speaker directly over it, so you can have a meaningful conversation and happy with their clean-up services. I love the spaciousness of Meland and the variety of things to do. The amount of toys that should be included in the "Mini Town" and "space town" are so scarce. It's been like this for months and it seems as though they don't replace broken or lost items to make pretend play more enjoyable. Which leaves me questioning about the overall sanitation of the establishment & the safety of the children. Have to keep a close eye on your kids with their stuff because someone could get hurt. read more

Went with my 1 year old. Had some fun for sure but it's not entirely regulated well, or the parents don't care (little bit of both). Went into an area that was supposed to be 3 year olds or under. Maybe one kid in there was under 3. Then literally had a kid throwing the ball pit balls at his dad right under a sign that said "don't throw balls". Then he started grabbing balls from the pit and throwing them with my 1 year old in it. Dad said nothing so I had to say something. Still lots of fun areas for a wide range of age kids. Mary not come back until he's older. $20 for only a few areas that he can play in right now is not entirely worth it. But in a few years I'm sure he'll love the wide range of activities they have! read more

I have conflicted emotions writing this review. I will start with pros: 1. Huge with lots of things for kids to do. Perfect for 3 year olds. Probably my kids favorite indoor play place they have been too. 2. Price was decent for what you get. Cons: 1. Flow is very odd. The place you drop your shoes and coats is in a place that you have to walk with your socks on a very dirty/heavily trafficked floor.... 2. Though the majority of the surfaces look clean enough (considering the weather), the surfaces under the equipment (even spaces you can reach and not blocked off by the mesh) are absolutely filthy. Never seen so much lint in my life. 3. The extra supplies are stored under slides and such (see pic), in plain view of the customers. And of course those spaces are filthy as well. Maybe hundreds of bags of table cloth didn't need to be ordered.. obvious lack of storage.. 4. Bathrooms filthy...toilet didn't stop running and out of paper towels. 5. No employees supervising the play areas... adults with shoes in there... In summary... my kids loved it and would give it a 5+. I figure it's cleaner than letting the kids play outside.. but they cannot say their place is cleaned sufficiently. I have a membership to an indoor play area back home that is spotless. The owner has it professionally cleaned daily and closes down for a week once a quarter for an even deeper clean. read more

I used to like taking my son to Me Land but the last time I went I almost wanted to leave because of how dirty the place was. I stayed because my son wanted to play. I noticed there were more play food this time in the kitchen play area. The rest of the rooms were sad and so dirty. I went in the morning. I guess they don't sweep the floors. It was almost disgusting to out our shoes back on over the dirty socks we had from walking around. There were crumbs, hair, dust bunnies, and other stuff. I love taking my son to the Little Towns because they make sure they clean. No parent wants to take their kids to an indoor playground where it's dirt because we don't want our kids to get sick or catch something. I am never going back. If they don't clean the floors, I doubt they clean the rest of the play areas. read more

OmniFun is Perfect place for younger kids (my kids are 3 and 5); adults can opt to go in with them or watch them inside but out of the "obstacle" course area. Grippy socks recommended. OmniFun is a new indoor playground that's located behind Costco and directly across from Perrolocco. They have a huge tropical themed play area with multiple levels where you can climb (including small rock wall), slide (5 slides), crawl, jump, and swing. There's a huge ball pit with an inflatable raft that's fun. If you want to take a break from the play area, you can build something with foam blocks, do some arts and crafts, write on the huge chalk board wall, or play with the kinetic sand. For those with little ones, there's a toddler area for them too. We came during the week to celebrate N's first birthday and he had a blast. So did his brother! Definitely great for kids of varying ages, but I'd so more so for those up to 8 (not so sure about 12 as advertised). We started off in the toddler area but N had a blast in the ball pit and going down the slides. It wasn't crowded when we went, but can see why the play area may be off limits to younger kids when there are more children around. Omnifun is definitely a workout for parents...be prepared to play in the ball pit, slide down the slides, and go through the obstacle courses with your little one! We needed a snack break at the hour mark so decided to take a little breather and sit down in their lounge area (which contains a few tables). If you didn't bring snacks/drinks, there's a few there for sale. Price was pretty similar to similar indoor playgrounds in the area. You save a few bucks by coming during the week, with admission starting at 6+ months. Adults pay as well. Don't forget to bring a pair of socks or you will need to purchase theirs to play. They offer a membership which offers some discounts, but not sure if it's worth it TBH. You can celebrate a birthday here too. Staff was super friendly from beginning to end. They definitely knew how to make you feel welcomed. They have staff patroling the various areas, making sure everyone was following the rules. Theres cubbies in the front area to leave your shoes/other belongings. Parking was easy to find in the lot behind the store. Omnifun was a blast for the little ones. Everyone left happy and tired! This place is NOT safe for kids! And the owner is Very irresponsible! My daughter went to a birthday party there on 9/15. She got finger stuck in the lady's room and pinched by the door really badly! They didn't install any finger guard to the bathroom door and the door was closed too quickly every time after people walk in/out. It is so easy for kids to get their finger pinched by the door. Keep in mind that their customers are the small children from 6 Mon - 12 yrs., they really need to do a better job to keep kids safe. After the incident, I asked them to write an incident report, and the employee told me that the owner will contact me today. He/she never did. I called them and left a message, but they never responded. What an irresponsible owner!!! read more

The place itself is nice and very entertaining. My granddaughter loved it and we both had a good time. My big complaint which is not just mine because I spoke to a couple of other parents in the facility is the staff. They are just sitting at the desk with nothing to do but play with their phones. Not a welcoming environment or engaging. With at least 3 people there and just a few patrons they should be walking around to see if anyone needs help. Granted they are not there to babysit kids but at least they should walk around with the kid or parent when they visit for the first time. I actually asked the desk attendant if she could show me around as I had never been there and she promptly decline with rudeness. I advised her I would write a review because I were the owner I would want to know how my staff is treating clients; she looked at me and didn't give a hoot :( read more

I'm happy that this place opened so close to our home! My son has so much fun the times that we have come here. 1-2 hour time frames are perfect to get your kid's energy out. They charge for my 6 month old and I think that's a bit ridiculous considering a baby that age can't really do much there. I've only gone on a weekday and love it. Not much people are there during the week so there's plenty of room to play. I would recommend bringing snacks and drinks during your play but they also offer light snacks and drinks there. read more

Not even the devil himself could have invented such a terrible place. Music is very loud, to the point where you can't hear yourself think let alone listen for your kid(s). It's crazy expensive. Staff are curt and unhelpful. All surfaces just feel filthy. Restrooms don't have paper towels. Party areas resemble the back of a dimly lit garage. This is a great spot to take your kids for some fun. It is HUGE. They have a special area just for toddlers and a bigger area for big kids. It is very clean and they do require you wear socks. If you don't have any, they have them for purchase at the front desk. They also have drinks for purchase. They do birthday parties - however I wouldn't recommend unless you want something very simple. There is an adult to kid ratio, and for each additional adult, there is a $5.99 fee - that didn't really make sense to me so I didn't decide to do a party here. For parties they also only give you 15 minutes to set up and can't do it prior to your party, so your guests either have to wait awkwardly or help you? Another strange policy. This place is great for rainy days when the park isn't an option. It's not as affordable as a park. Lol. But it's really great! Make sure you bring socks with rubber on the bottoms so you don't have to purchase a pair. Both times I've gone we had no problem with not being able to get in or with over crowding. It was great! The ball put us absolutely enormous and has padded things to climb and jump off of as well as a slide. The climbing area is huge, too. Ans has even more slides! There's an area with oversized building blocks that my kids love to explore. The blocks are super lightweight so that it's easy for all ages. There are also a few video games and air hockey, but those do cost extra. For parents, there are tables for you to sit and relax. But you are also welcome to climb around and play with you kiddos! I took my daughter here. Very clean. Fun attendant Miranda made my daughter's day, yes they actually play with the kids!! Gave me a much needed break, although I felt guilty when I saw other parents cashing in on the fun rides and arcade games with their kids. Just had no energy that day, so I really appreciated Miranda playing with my girl. They should have a credit tip jar for individual fun attendants, especially since no one is using cash these days. My almost 3 year old and I went here for the first time today. We will definitely be back! We've been to most of the play places in this area, and this one is definitely one of the best. Pros: Very large play area with huge ball pit and lots of slides. I also really like how there's not only a jungle gym for the kids to run around, but also an arts and crafts and book corner. My kid really liked being able to take a break there. I haven't seen that variety anywhere else. It's also nicely spaced out, so it didn't feel crowded. My kid played there for a solid 2 hours and easily could've stayed longer. Cons: When we got there, the door was locked, which was weird because it was open and clearly there were people inside. No one answered the phone when we tried to call. Finally we flagged someone down, who seemed unconcerned that the door was locked. They also needed to have more than one person at the register because the line was long and moved slowly. Hopefully they'll work out those kinks. My main gripe is the price. My kid was $13 for 2 hours because she's not 3 yet. When she turns 3 it'll be $19 for 2 hours on a weekend, which is just really expensive. We'll still come back, but we would go more often if the price were cheaper. read more

But over some weeks of coming in i have noticed how RUDE CUSTOMERS are to the staff and to the place whenever they cant get their way,The Staff Are Humans!! this is to ALL PARENTS READING IS FUNDAMENTAL!!!! And would save you a whole bunch of time if you all would read! Some complain about the bathroom being dirty but you as the customers make it dirty( have you ever been in a walmart bathroom?) and i have only seen ripped toilet paper, customers dont follow the rules, they're kids dont listen, they constantly leave the table area a mess.! I think you parents need to do more listing this place is for KIDS! The staff are not there to WATCH YOUR CHILDREN! Parents do not respect the building and throw fits when they can't get their way! You choose to bring your kids somewhere that doesn't allow shoes and complain about having to take your shoes off and complain about the price but its ALL DAY PLAY! Some say the staff are rude, not the case the staff are not there to Entertain you or your child! Birthday partys are 2 hours it says come 15 min before to bring in your items not set up it also said your hosts will come 15 min before to clean yet people claim to be kicked out, how?
