Me n eds has been a favorite of mine since I can remember. I even remember when pizzas were $30+! I am so happy they aren't anymore, but even more impressed the quality didn't change with the price drops. Staff is usually very friendly and helpful, delivery is always earlier than estimated. Hawaiian and pepperoni olive are our go to's. I really like the BBQ Chicken but am the only one in my family so we rarely get it :( read more

Makes me sad that it was my first time at this location and the cashier was so rude. I called and Timothy placed my order over the phone. I explained to him about my vouchers of a 3 topping pizza but only want pepperoni. He was cool and took my order of a pepperoni and I can use my voucher. When I picked up, a lady cashier ring me up and come to find out, I had a charge because apparently a pepperoni was not a 3 topping. I was confused, I explained that it wasn't what I was told on the phone. Another lady, shift leader/ supervisor of some sort checked, re-ring me up and explained that he doesn't know what he's doing. I stated, "if I knew it had to be 3 topping, I would have added sausage or a veggie." They re-rang me up and the original lady that rang me up came back with me pizza and stated with an attitude, "here!" She sure looks annoyed but I thought, my kid earned those vouchers fair and square woman. If you don't like your job then don't work customer service. I wasn't rude to you so don't be rude to me. Horrible service. I moved into a new home just down the street, and while unpacking decided to run up to the corner to grab a pizza. I called ahead of time and ordered 2 pepperoni pizzas, on the phone they told me 20 minutes so I left my house 15 minutes later. When I got there I paid for my pizzas, the cashier then walked to the back and started whispering to someone. She came back up to where I was and without an explanation, told me that it would be another 10 minutes until my pizza was ready. 40 minutes after placing my order on the phone, I finally received my pizza and the crust was burnt. I was not the only person waiting for my food, there were two others that had been waiting there longer than me (neither of them looked very pleased). There were more employees sitting in the store eating pizza and drinking soda then there were behind the counter making pizzas. You would think the manager would plan for the employees to take their breaks on slow times, not during the busy dinner hour. My plan was to pick up something quick because I had a lot to do that day, but I could have made a homemade meal faster than picking up a pizza from this Me-n-Eds. I would recommend going to the Papa Johns right across the street. read more

I have lived in this neighborhood for 13 years, there isn't much else around when you are a tired busy parent. Who doesn't love the pizza from me n Ed's? Many events here for the kids and one thing has been consistent. SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. They are ALWAYS short staffed and time after time mess up order after order. After today I will not come again. You have to order at the counter and wait for your food to come out. I order, then ask "do you have sparkling water or Perrier?" To which she says, "no that is too fancy for us" (mind you they just remodeled and put 100+ beers on tap) Then I and ask for a side salad.. the response I get is- "it'll be faster if you get the salad bar." She then says, "what kind of dressing?"I said "ranch, but you don't have that on your salad bar?? "She said, "no, do you know how much that would cost us? Everyone would just get free ranch" I lost it! My response was of course not you all are too cheap and nothing has changed here. .However the music is so loud I don't think she heard me! I called my order in an hour in advance. My food was not ready when I got here. Obviously I was upset and had to wait but I understand people make mistakes and this was not an intentional mistake so I wasn't to upset. They then told me it would be about a 10 minute wait. Well 30 minutes went by and my food was still not ready! At this point I was very upset and I asked to speak to a manager. I spoke with Ed and I calmly explained the situation and that I am upset since this was suppose to be dinner for me and my wife who just got off a 9 hour shift. He was kind enough to give me my food for free. I'm not giving him 5 stars because he gave it to me for free. I'm giving him 5 stars because he said "This is not acceptable from my team" and gave me a sincere apology and I could tell he meant it. The workers here are nice and polite. Part of our order came out and we waited and waited after 30 mins we went up for our order and they responded, "it just came out". They brought it to our table and after taking a bite, COLD LASAGNA! I walk up to the front and said that we will now need a to go plate and after tell Michelle that it was cold no apologizes were given, "Well, you should've told us," Yeah I just did that. We ordered a pizza on the way back from the Bay Area on line and picked it up at the time we scheduled for pickup, brought it home and found it to be a piece of cold rubber~ literally. Came here for a second time because it is close by. Let me just say that we were at the me n eds Coney Island at river park a few days earlier and had great service etc. This location however has not changed since the last time I came here. It is still dirty. Employees don't keep up with the restaurant. Also there was this particular worker who was very sloppy. She was handing customers an order to go and nearly dropped pizzas in the floor. Then she was handing a customer his beer on the table and just throws it on the table spilling some and doesn't even care to wipe it up, she just walks away like nothing happened. Also, we ordered some wings and they look nothing like they do in the picture. It's just fried pieces of chicken wings and they drizzle some sauce over it without tossing it together. When we asked about why it isn't like the picture she said that they don't do their wings like that... In the future I would avoid coming to this restaurant at all cost and go to a different me n eds location. read more

What has happened to Me n Ed's pizza? It used to be fantastic, now it is mediocre. The ingredients are cheap and you can taste the lack of quality. Terrible service. This is probably the third time that we have ordered a pizza for pickup, we're told that it would be ready in a certain amount of time and low and behold it's not ready! We thought we would beat it this time since they said 25 mins and we didn't even leave our house (10mins away) and It still wasn't ready. No apologies at all. So we ordered our pizza . While we wait, we ordered a pitcher of beer. Then we tried to find a table to sit down...all but one table was dirty...the one clean table was occupied by employees. I mentioned that fact to them and they both ignored me....I found the manager putting up Xmas tree lights...I shared my observation and she called someone to clean ...the one employee heard me telling the manager and he got up to go make our pizza....the girl continued to talk on the phone....me and eds failed me again. read more

It's been recently renovated and is very nice and clean. The pizza is phenomenal. The sauce and crust are so fresh with the perfect amount of cheese and toppings. Great pizza to eat there, carry out, or have delivered. Highly recommend! read more

Let down by this establishment. Ordered, was sent home with the wrong pizza (paid for a specialty, ended up going home with a pepperoni, bell pepper and sausage pizza). Sorry, Me NEd's. You send a busy mom home with the wrong pizza and don't offer to just save the CORRECT pizza as comp-- it's almost inevitable to pick up a pizza with a few slices missing. Called and told me they had to pick up the pizza to verify I was telling the truth, and said the whole pizza had to be there. My child had already started eating, so the woman on the phone annoyingly sighed, then told me it was ok. At least their additional 30 minutes wait time was accurate. read more

Me-N-Eds is our favorite pizza. When my brother comes to town we always go there. I live right by this Me-n-Ed but always go to the Temperance location when he isn't here. For some unknown reason the Ashlan and Fowler location always burns the pizza. We waited 45 min for the pizza and I couldn't believe they would even bring that burnt pizza to the table. When I mentioned the pizza was burnt ( like she didn't notice) she did offer to make another but it would be another 45 min. I just had to tear off the top of the pizza and leave the totally burnt crust. I usually have to tell them when I order PLEASE TELL THEM NOT TO BURN THE CRUST! Either they aren't trained properly when they are rushed or they just can't cook. You really need to fix this. Your crust is the best part when cooked properly. read more

Ordered a calzone and sandwich to go. Was told 20 minutes. Waited 10 and drove to the restaurant for pick-up. Waited another 20 minutes and still not ready. Ok I can see if they were busy but this was not the case. Me and Eds is not the best Pizza either. If i wanted cheese on a cracker I can do that at home. When I look around there are about 20 people all together in pizza parlor. They aren't even busy! Which means they never made the pizza. Came here on a Wednesday night ordered one large pizza a pitcher of beer and waited over an hour for the pizza to come.. we had two small children with us I walked up to the window and ask where are pizza was and they all looked at me like deer in headlights so I knew right then and there that our pizza was not coming and lost our order 15 minutes later Here Comes our pizza the waitress slams it down on our table doesn't ask if we want jalapenos ,napkins, ranch or anything else just turns around walks away my daughter walks up to the window and says next time you put a pizza down could you ask if they need anything else since our pizza took an hour and 15 minutes the lady slammed down the ranch and the jalapenos and walked away this is right next to my house I will never go here again it is so sad because I haven't been here in a very long time and I will never go here again the service has slowed the wait staff is angry the place is dirty and I will never step foot again and this Me and Ed's read more

Wish there was zero star option, yes it was that bad. Just had my the worst restaurant experience of my life. We have eaten here, had pickup, and delivery from this location. Pizza is ok but service has always been below average. Today we ordered online which is usual for us. Pickup time was list as 5:36pm. I arrived at 5:40 and was told it was going to be 25 mins. I told them my pick up time was 536p and they said they would get in in the oven next, I saw it was prepped but not cooked. No apology no explanation. While I waited I asked several employees to check on my pizzas over the next 40 mins, not one of them came back to let me know anything. Frustrated I got back in line waited 10 mins and was next up when my order was handed to me and employee walked away, no explanation and apology. Atcthat time my order was 50 mins later than the "online" ready time. I had groceries in the car and wife and kids were very hungry by now. Wanted to yell at a manager but given the fact my groceries and family had been waiting for way to long and the fact I will NEVER come back to this location again did not see the point. This place is full of teenagers and 20 somethings that dont seem to care about the customers at all, not one of them were helpful or seem to care about any of the customers, seemed like a lot of frustrated customers were there. I know a lot of young people that have a lot of hustle and care about their jobs, but did not see anyone "caring" here. With so many pizza options in the area we won't miss this extremely lousy customer service establishment one bit. read more

This was my first time at this location. I ordered one small combination pizza and one small Tuscany Harvest pizza with an order of 12 pc. buffalo wings. We waited way too long for 2 small pizzas, and a girl came by letting us know she checked our order and it would only take 5 more min. Awesome. If that was true. About 15 min later I went up to the people making the pizzas and asked if my order was ready. He went to go check, looked a bit freaked out as if it wasn't made, then he asked for my receipt and told me it had been ready and waiting. We never got called up. I had to ask for my chicken wings, ranch and jalapenos I ordered as well. When I saw the buffalo wings it was extremely disappointing. They are basically fried chicken with a side of buffalo sauce. Really? That is not how you serve buffalo wings. Maybe tell the executive chef that laziness produces poor quality food. I also spend $40 for all 3 items. So not worth the time and money spent. I think I'll stick to ordering from More Than Pizza from now on. read more

After trying the Me-N-Eds at Temperance and Alluvial, we were very unhappy with the service. My neighbor told me to try the location at Fowler and Shepherd. What a joke. We ordered at 7:29 we got part of the order a little after 8:00, but of course the order was wrong. My husband brought it to there attention so they decided to give us a free sandwich and proceeded to make the correct order. After another thirty minutes we finally got the correct order. The food was so-so, nothing to write home about. What's bad is the manager brought the food out, we asked him to package it to go, no I'm sorry or anything. After this visit I will try another pizza establishment. read more

I went to this location for the first time with my family. The place was packed but the customer service was amazing. We brought in a group of 20 and the manager told us to give her a few minutes and she would get us seated. Next thing I knew she had several employees out moving tables around to accommodate of family! She recommended the sampler platter and the smoked dip. Amazing!!! Then the pizzas came out and were great! Outstanding customer service and great food! A little bit of a wait but well worth it!!! read more
