Enjoyed a pick-up order including pizzas and a calzone. The cheese, hawaiian, and pepperoni all had ample toppings and were flavorful. There were two areas that would definitely kick it up to that fifth star: there was quite a bit of the blackened corn meal bits that is sometimes found on the bottom of pizzas, but was on top of the pepperoni, and the cuts for pieces of pizzas, especially the cheese, were not done with care, very uneven (please see photo). The veggie calzone was great, and the seasoning on the dough was delicious. The staff, friendly and made sure we had what we needed. Overall, the family loves it, and with those couple items listed, it would be even better. read more

Best pizza ever! Definitely gotta upgrade to the thick crust and extra cheese every time. Location is always quick and easy to pick up from. Always a bit weird that you have to show your credit card and ID even if you already paid for everything online, but I understand that the employees are just following what corporate wants. read more

We came for my son's Birthday last week and had the worst experience ever at a restaurant. The unkept blonde, I believe her name was Crystal, was so rude and unprofessional. She was downright hostile from the moment we walked in and made my family and I feel very uncomfortable. She was complaining about us to her co-workers in front of us. They seemed uncomfortable and tried to apologize for her behavior. I could go on and on, but I won't. On a positive note, Madison was very kind and helpful and we appreciated her very much. We ended up cleaning our table. We sanitized it with their towels and we flipped the chairs on top of the table, that's how we found it one hour prior to closing. Crystal made us feel that uncomfortable, we felt it necessary to do so. Being that three of us work in restaurant, it really was no problem for us to clean the table. Got a pizza tonite and when I got home the pizza was burnt on some of the crust and on the bottom. That's what I get for not checking at the restaurant. Crust was like cardboard and dry. Also skimpy on the cheese and toppings. Quality has gone way down at this location. Make a better pizza at home. read more

I ordered our pizza online at 11:00 am and selected a later time to pick up, 11:45am. We get to Me-n-Ed's at 11:47 am and get to my parent's house to celebrate Father's Day around 11:53 am. Guess what, cold pizza and soggy. I had to put it in the oven to make it hot. What really got me upset was the interaction with Anabel who "helped" us. The moment we walked in, she asked if we were there to pick up or dine in. I told her it was a pick up and she asked for my name. Before giving me my pizza she asked for my id and the credit card I used. Because I didn't have it ready as soon as I walked through the door, she was already upset. She said any online orders I need to have my id and credit card. There's a sign on the door that I should have read. Super shocked and didn't want to make a scene in front of my daughter and husband on Father's Day. So I just brushed it off. After showing her my id and credit card, she said turn the card around I want to see both sides. Once I did that, she slid my pizza box to me. Then asked if I wanted anything else, I told her I wanted 2 ranch, 2 containers of jalapeños, 1 - 2 liter Pepsi. After I paid, she placed them in a brown bag. I looked at my receipt and saw that I got charged for 3 ranches, 2 jalapeños and one Pepsi. Looked in my bag saw 3 ranches, one jalapeño. I let her know that I was missing a container of jalapeños and she looked at me dumbly and said are you sure you didn't drop it? I told her I'm very sure and I've been standing right here. She rolled her eyes and gave me the missing container of jalapeños. She asked anything else???- rudely. I remembered I needed parmesan cheese and peppers and she again rolled her eyes and said give me your bag. She literally took my bag from me without giving me a chance to hand it to her and took out my ranch and containers of jalapeños and counted it to see if I was lying about the missing containers of jalapeños. Again, shocked and speechless. She gave me back my bag and said now, anything else?? I literally had no words, took my food and left. My daughter and husband couldn't believe the service and how I was treated by Anabel. I seriously do not understand why people are so rude for no reason!! Please don't order/eat from here. Ok so, everyone was like YOU HAVE TO TRY ME N EDS!!! If you're in town this is a must..... I show up, 7ish pm Friday night. Not too busy but you can see they do a lot of take out orders. I order "the special" small 3 topping for $12.95 and what they call half a pound of garlic Parmesan wings. 20 minutes later I get my wings. I'm waiting for my pizza and at the 28 minute marker I asked for it. It came out 5 minutes later. Crust was dry cardboard like, the toppings Mehh and I will say the wings did not disappoint. The staff hardly smiled, maybe overwhelmed? Not sure but for my first visit ( mind you I let the cashier know when I first got there), my experience was 2/10. The soda was flat. I tried 4 different flavors making sure I wasn't just being an ASS. Nope, I regret spending $30 for a small personal pizza and 6 tiny ass wings. ( NOT HALF A POUND OF WINGS AS THEY CALL IT). Which I figured no way the wings could ever be so small. Tasty and yum so that's the only reason they get a score versus a FAT ZERO. Service was below par and my experience not much better. I had experienced great customer service from the time I placed my order to the time I picked up which is what prompted me to write this review. I called at about 12:00 to place a pick up order for 4:15 pm. The employee that answered the phone was very friendly, helpful and thorough in making sure she had everything correct. She took my order quickly without making me feel rushed. When I went to pick up, I was promptly greeted with a smile by Sal. He went over my order again to make sure I had all the correct items, was professional and friendly. The pizza was delicious as usual, as were the cheesy breadsticks. If there was a 0 star option I would do it at this point. We have gotten raw pizzas and rude service from this place. Today, I ordered two pizzas and picked them up. We ordered a double cheese pizza because the last few cheese pizzas have been lacking cheese to say the least. Got our pizzas and still had no cheese. So I called and was told I would have to take a photo and send it to this janky email. Your problem is not my problem so refund my money. I don't need to do your job, wait for another pizza or send a picture of the underrated pizza you expected me to be ok with. I was told amber is the manager and would call us so I'll be waiting. I'm not emailing them and you all need to make this right. This pizzas you have recently been putting out are horrible. Amber just called while writing this and hung up mid call after giving me the corporate number because she refused to refund their mistake. Ashlan/Fowler location still consistently terrible.... Every year or so we crave the Me-N-Ed's quality we grew up with, and this store has been a disappointment every time. I'm positive I did not order a pizza with no cheese...but that's what they give you. Or there's some toppings in the middle and the rest is dry dough. Wings are sauceless. Utter garbage. The beer tap situation is an absolute rip off. You pick a "full pint" and it pours nothing but foam. Yes, former bartender and I know how to pour a beer. So, you pay $8.50 for an 8 ounce "pint". When we brought it to the employees attention we were told their "full pour " is 14 ounces. Ok, that doesn't explain a half glass of foam. Then a manager tried to "fix" it. My husband was given a new beer, and I was told mine was "fine" after giving me another 1 ounce because my husband got "more" than he should have. Mind you, not drinking the same beer. When you mess up, you fix it, not say one person was "more than" fixed, so screw you. Horrible service, total rip off. Pizza isn't good enough for this nonsense. read more

Every time i go to me-ned's, the pizza is dry (hard for me to swallow, i know that sounds dramatic but it's true) with limited toppings on it. in addition, the people working there are never happy and certainly never smile. i haven't had me-n-ed's pizza in a few years, but i went with my friends this time and decided to try the pizza again. i ordered a medium pepperoni, with extra pepperoni, sauce, and cheese. and i am happy to say that i was pleasantly surprised this time. some of the bread was still exposed, and there wasn't much pepperoni, but it was definitely a huge improvement from any of the other pizzas i've ever had at me-n-ed's. i get that they were (somewhat) busy, but it did take them about 30 mins to serve me my pizza. won't complain about that though, as i was more focused on the pizza itself. there were almost enough toppings, (i ordered extra toppings) so if you buy pizza from me-n-ed's, just make sure to get "extra" toppings. still doesn't compare to any of the other pizza places nearby though. anyways, didn't expect to be saying this, but i ended up having a pretty decent time here today. read more

Sometimes the pizza here is so good but it's just so hit and miss. Ordered delivery tonight. Pizza arrived with the bottom burnt to a crisp. Black and so bitter we couldn't eat it. So I called them. Totally cool that they remade it and brought a new pizza. Unfortunately the next pizza was raw. Had so little sauce on it. Soggy, raw and dry. I complained about the lack of cheese on the pepperoni pizza. They politely made a second pizza. However the second wasn't much better. This place is deserves a 5 with out a doubt! The workers have a sense of humor and when it isn't to busy the joke with the customers and that is very rare to find. And they all wear masks and are making sure that we feel safe when it comes to mitigating the spread of COVID. The pizza at this place is absolutely to die for. We had a cheese and pepperoni pizza. And we doubled both the cheese and pepperoni. They made it flawlessly that my guys and I had to had two. And the beers they have there were good as well. What is unique is you can just get a card and self serve you beer which is a great system that they have. It kept the wait of having to get a server to get your beer out of the picture which made the time that much more fun. You must come here now. This place is a win! read more

I don't know how you can't love this place. I've been eating Me-n-Ed's my entire life and it's one of the things I look forward to when heading to Fresno. You gotta try it!! And if you don't like it then I'm gonna question our friendship. Lol This location has been here for years but they recently bought the space next to them, tore down the wall, and expanded the entire store. This is one of the larger locations they have (shields & cedar may be the only bigger spot) and it has a HUGE selection of beer on tap (see pic). Overall, Me-n-Ed's will always be one of my favorite pizza spots. read more

I dined in at this location with my husband yesterday 4/14/24. We love the Oakhurst location and were near the area so we decided to try this location. To start the staff uniforms were very dirty and so was the floor. We waited 30 mins for our order, after my husband went up to inquire. The food was cold and the pizza hardly had any toppings. The toppings it did have were all mostly on one side. The staff didn't really seem to care. We asked how the taps worked and we were told the screens would display the ounces and pricing prior to making a selection. This was not true. I didn't see any prices until after the drinks were poured. We ended up paying $38 for a sample pour and two half pours. This seems extremely overpriced. Again staff didn't really seem to care. I order lunch for my crew once a month and we usually have pizza. our lunches start at 11am. Me and Ed's opens at 11am. I was having trouble with web ordering, so I called a little after 10am and they answered the phone. I told them about the Web issue and they took my order over the phone. I was able to pick my pizza at 10:45am. This is fantastic. No more Mountain Mikes as the earliest I could get pizzas from them was 11:40 and i would have to start lunch late. First visit to this location. We were there for a kids birthday party, where we had the whole back room to ourselves. There were a few games for the kids to play. They all required quarters and every time we went to the register for more, they were digging in ziplocks for them. If you think of it, grab your own quarters for the kiddos. The staff was nice. Pizzas didn't take long to come out and they were OK. They had a salad bar open and fountain sodas were a available. They had choices for those wanting beers from the bar. read more

Had the worst experience in 50 years at the Fowler and Ashlan location. I ordered my pizza like I always do, on line and pay for it online so I can just go in and not be bothered with cards at the restaurant. When I got there the server said I must see your credit card that you used....... I told her I did not bring it - I paid on line and the transaction was complete. She told me she could not give me my pizza without showing her the card. I asked her to get the manager - the manager was NO HELP at all and actually quite rude. My only option was to go into my phone and show them the card I used on line. The manager told me that it was clearly stated on their online process that you need to bring your credit card. THAT IS NOT TRUE - I WENT BACK ON LINE WHEN I GOT HOME AND NO WHERE DOES IT SAY THAT. when I got home the pizza was also not up to Me n Eds standard at all - All the ingredients where in the middle of the pizza and the 2 inch border of the pizza was just sauce. Well it seems to be sometimes we get a decent pizza here and other times we get a sloppy thrown together pizza with extremely minimal toppings. This evening we ordered a pizza with the mobile app and I picked it up. Very minimal toppings that were mostly on one side. It's like it was handled roughly in and out of the oven. It was cut in a strange manner and the bottom crust was all cracked up so when you tried to take a slice it came out in broken pieces. No consistency at this location. It was my first time here. My new favorite place for my cheesey bread addiction. We arrived around 6 pm on a Sunday. Amptophere was good. The place was clean. Bathrooms were clean. That's a major plus in my book! I'm not sure what's up with some of the bad reviews, but this is my new to go pizza place when I want to endulge in pizza heaven. My 18 year old son and husband were very happy and completely satisfied with our meals and service. The food was on point. They were fast and attentive. We are usually prepared when we place our order for any red pepper flakes, ranch or parmsean cheese ect, the staff asked anyway to make sure we had everything we needed. The root beer was just perfect . I often get watered down sodas in many fast food places and restaurants. Not here! Everything was perfect, no complaints. I kinda wanna go back tonight.
