The spa itself is fine, if a bit small. Unfortunately the facial was not as expected. I booked online a "hydradermabrasian" facial. I've had many hydra facials before (which include microdermabrasion), and love them. I called to confirm that this would be a full hydra facial. I was told it would be. Before my treatment started I asked my aesthetician if it would be a full hydra facial and was again told it would be. It was not. This was a plain facial with microdermabrasion. No And not even a particularly good facial. Hydra facials leave your skin plump and glowing - this did nothing for me. When I was checking out the girl asked if I had a good facial and I said I was disappointed that it was not as advertised. Literally her only response was "would you like to add gratuity?" The woman checking out next to me actually laughed when she heard that. $225 for a sub-basic facial is ridiculous. I would have gladly paid that or more for an actual hydra facial. Educate your staff to answer questions about the services you offer accurately. UPDATE: the manager contacted me, apologized, said she would retrain the staff and refunded my money. I did not ask her to do that but it shows excellent customer service. I will definitely give the spa another try now. read more

I've been coming to MeSpa for a few years and especially during the pandemic, I've really appreciated their stringent health and safety measures. But my most recent visit was off-putting. This was the first time in the pandemic that staff did not take my temperature, for one. There were used water glasses cluttering the relaxation room table, no hand towels in the restroom, overflowing hampers of used robes, and an overall dingy and dirty feel (see photos). I am 64 and have had a few facials in my lifetime, but the service provided by Marissa was the best ever. The other thing I liked about this salon is that there is no "sales-pitch" to get you to buy their products, and no"skin-shaming" that I have been subjected to at other salons in the past. Very neat spa. Very impressive. I wear a robe after undressing with slippers. Go to a waiting room. They come in with a bowl of warm water and other ingredients and soak my feet for 15 minutes before going in for massage. The place is very nice. Person who performed my massage was very good. 3.5 stars really... Came in a few months ago for a massage and pedicure. Nice space and locker room area. Very inviting and comfortable. My massage was pretty disappointing. The person I had just seemed tired and grumpy, maybe because it was the end of the day. When it came to the massage, it was like she was just petting a cat. I asked for more pressure and it was never quite enough. She never checked how I was doing or ask for feedback. I asked her twice for more pressure. (And I truly don't even like that much pressure but that's how light she was massaging me!) I was looking forward to something relaxing and nice but the whole time I was laying there thinking this sucks. My pedicure was very nice and relaxing. Love the chairs that recline all the way, super comfortable. My pedicure itself turned out amazing. Super soft feet and nails painted perfectly. But. Again. The massage lol. It was terrible!!! And I really look forward to that part of the pedicure. Especially on that day since the body massage was already terrible :( Part of me wants to go back for a pedicure but I just don't feel like being let down again. Best pedicure ever at 8.5 mths pregnant a lifesaver! After having a spa pedicure experience like this one I dont think I can go back to a regular nail salon. The spa is beautiful & pristine, exceptionally clean, peaceful and I wanted to stay there all day. Julie was amazing and so gentle. My feet feel extremely soft and I love it! The zero gravity chairs are awesome, the lavender eye mask is a treat. And it was a very customized experience that was soothing, relaxing and peaceful. Very quiet with the spa music in the background. Not like the hustle and bustle of a nail salon with the toxic smells. Alex was my masseur and he was fantastic! Right amount of pressure, soothing, calming. The right balance of nice and friendly, where you can tell he'd be fun to chat with, but didn't talk unless to check with me about something, or to gently instruct me. I purchased a 30 minute Signature Massage at ME Spa (a Groupon Deal that included a hand treatment and a "take home product"). Staff was friendly, taking my coat, waiting while I changed, and offering water and tea. They also offered a warm neck wrap (with sand inside). The space was clean with a simple beauty (lots of wood, greys and whites). The comfiest things were the soft robe and heated table! The massage itself was okay. My masseuse, Jeff, did a pregnancy massage with me lying on my back and only touching my limbs, neck, and shoulders. That was totally fine, of course. The massage was just extremely gentle with very little pressure except on my upper arms. I feel like my legs were neglected: he only went about halfway up on my thighs (I have long legs), and never maneuvered my lower legs to reach my calves. The neck and shoulder massage he gave me at the end was the absolute highlight: appropriate pressure, manipulated my neck from side to side, and worked out some tension. I'm pretty new to massages and figure the masseuse are the experts; however, in the future I guess I need to be vocal and ask them to go harder? The massage itself was 3 stars, but the cheap price, great space, and "take home product" (bath fizzes) bump this to a 4. In all, it was worth trying out, especially given the deal. read more

This was my first full spa experience. I mused as to why I had avoided it before then I realized the glass and metal hotel spas lacked warmth to me. This was the antithesis of that experience. I felt that good ol' southern welcome in the dead of an Illinois winter. There's a lot to be said for staff that has been in place for years and you find this here. I love how it's set up. There are people getting services all over the place but you never feel like you are being herded or shuffled thru the services. It was an awesome touch that each practitioner had an idea as to what my next service was to be. Now if you do nothing else - love yourself enough to get the pedicure - just trust me - you'll be glad you did. read more

I had a fabulous time at MeSpa. I had a 50 minute facial with Natalie. This was my first facial and she did a great job of walking me through what she was doing and explaining the process. I checked in a few minutes before my appointment and filled out some short paperwork. I was then taken back to the changing room and given a gown, robe and sandals. There are lockers for you to store your clothing and valuables. I then went to the relaxation area and enjoyed a mug of tea. I was brought a heated shoulder wrap and foot soak. I was then taken down the hall to the facial room. There was a (very comfortable) heated table to lay on, with a toasty warm comforter. The facial was wonderful and relaxing. Natalie was wonderful. It was complimented by a neck and shoulder massage and an arm massage. After my facial was completed I relaxed a little in the relaxation area before changing and heading home. My skin feels wonderful and I look forward to returning. read more

After being a long-standing customer of MeSpa Naperville, I will never schedule massages for my wife here ever again. Due to a family emergency, I asked to reschedule a massage last minute, only to find out because it was past their a 24-hour cancellation window, MeSpa still charges half the service fee. So instead of allowing us to reschedule due to a family emergency for a later date (at no charge), they would rather collect the $80 and instead of retaining a long-standing customer. MeSpa does not give a sh*t about their customers...life happens, and your customers need to cancel due to emergencies...I'm sure it frequently happens, and last minute. This is a typical downtown Naperville money grabbing business. Avoid this place at all costs! read more

Wow!! This is my 150th review and I have to say this was an AWESOME experience!! I do not visit these types of places very often but I received this as a gift. I was blown away by the professionalism, cleanliness, and products. Upon my arrival--I was welcomed by a friendly face at the front door. I told her my name and she took me back to the relaxation room. I was only there for a few minutes before Julie came in and took me to my pedicure. The pedicure included a warm neck wrap and warm/ scented cover over my eyes. Julie explained everything before she started. She took her time with every step. The pedicure includes a sugar scrub, lotion/massage. etc. I was relaxed and very happy with the pedicure. This pedicure lasted about 60 minutes. This was the BEST pedicure I've ever had!! I returned to the relaxation room before my manicure started. Barrie gave me the manicure. She made sure to explain everything she was using. I was happy with the final manicure. She made sure make to have me relax and allow nails to dry before I left. Overall-- I was extremely happy with the manicure and pedicure. I would love to go back on a regular basis but it is a little pricey. I LOVED my visit and I hope to return soon! read more

Fantastic spa services. We each had a facial which starts with a complete clothing change into shower shoes and towel based cover up with a luxurious bathrobe. All of your personal belongings are in a locked locker in the women's locker room. You are escorted into a relaxation room where they will offer tea or water, give you a fantastic foot soak and drape your shoulders with a hot pack. Lovely. Facials are in individual rooms and tailored to your needs. Mine was super moisturizing. When you are finished you are escorted back into the relaxation room when you can stay as long as you would like. When you are ready to go there is a steam shower and full compliment of combs, curlers, sprays and gels...pretty much anything you need to get ready. Well worth it! read more

WORST customer service. I was looking for a couples massage and called to ask more information about their services. When they answered and told me their prices ($135 for 50 minutes), I wanted to clarify and asked "Is that for two people"? She laughed at me and responded "Um, no. That is for one person. We are a luxury spa, you know?" And then when I go to respond, she hangs up on me! I tried to call back and they sent me straight to voicemail! The way to go at ME SPA is the pedicure!! Such an amazing and unique experience that should not be missed! I've been coming here since it was the Coldwater Creek spa years ago, and they've kept the best part which is the pedicure. There's nothing like it that I've experienced before. No massage chairs, very quiet and serene environment. You essentially take the most relaxing nap ever in "zero-gravity" chairs and when you wake up, your nails are done! You get leg massages and warm towel wraps which usually just deepens my relaxed state. This can't be missed! I'd give 10 stars if I could. I usually have Baea (sp?) as my technician, super nice and sweet. The facilities are clean and nice, no steam room or sauna, but nice locker room to shower and freshen up after. I've done the massages as well, they are pretty standard, but the pedicure is a must. read more
