There are two slides in the splash pad area which is a beautiful feature that not many places offer. They do have a staff member at the top of one slide making sure the kids are safe going down. The splash pad area had some great shaded areas, but I do wish there was more. They have a dump bucket and some small little water fall type things. All areas except for the slides are handicap accessible. The playground itself is always a great time. My kids tend to be daredevils so they love the rope area.

This city park is one of the finest public areas in St. Charles County…read more At just under 100 acres this large and expansive green space has numerous amenities over what is effectively two separate parks. The main park contains ball fields, an aquatics complex, football field, inline hockey rink, concessions stand, basketball court, and open areas. It also includes a Braille trail for sight impaired visitors. The Day Camp is separate from the main park and about a 1/2-mile northwest of the main entrance along Droste Road. It includes tennis courts, ball fields, sand volleyball court, and soccer field. Both areas have reservable picnic shelters, convenient restrooms, and playgrounds. A paved trail connects the two sections to adjoining neighborhoods. It's a popular spot all year round, but especially in summer. Picnic shelter reservations fill early in the year for holidays.
