Horrible experience at the Dania Blues and BBQ on April 10th. We were greeted with the CC machine was down. Then we were asked to repeat our order 4 times. We were early and the 3rd customer. It took 30 minutes waiting for our food. Then when we sat down to eat the order was wrong and the loaded brisket fries were cold. Very very little sauce on the ribs and the ribs were ribs....with very little meat. Really disappointed from beginning to end. read more

I decided to try a new food truck this year, and after seeing someone walk past me with loaded nachos from here,I knew this would be the one. I tried the chicken tacos and the loaded brisket fries at the Copperpointe BBQ & Beer fest. Delicious. The sauces used were really flavorful and good. There were a bunch of delicious toppings on both the tacos and the fries. The portions are heavy, they aren't stingy with the meat. My Friday night dinner group chose soul/ BBQ this week which usually is not my favorite so I was going to pass but I went for a haircut and in the same mall was this place . The name and the fact it started as a food truck brought me in . The friendly staff was also a great plus !! Friday's special was a pulled pork sandwich $5, really They must make their own BBQ sauce because it was exceptional . And big ! I hope they are a big hit because they deserve to be ! I had the opportunity to try Meatheads at a private food truck event. I decided on their brisket dinner plate. The dinner plate came with two sides. The brisket was lean, tender with a nice smokey flavor. They had a few sauces to choose from and I chose their regular BBQ sauce. The sauce had a sweet and tangy flavor. It was delicious. The sides I chose were the Mac and cheese and grilled corn on the cob. The Mac and cheese was cheesy but nothing special. The corn on the cob was disappointing. It was not cooked long enough and was grilled with the husk on so I found myself picking corn strings from my mouth...not a pleasant experience. Would I go out of my way to eat there food...no. If presented with the opportunity to eat there food again I would just order the brisket as a sandwich as it was delicious but the sides were not worth the cost of the dinner plate. read more

Been waiting to try this barbecue place for some time but never in the area. I finally made it. So I can say I'm glad I did not make a special trip to the area. I think the food was ok. Food may have even been four stars if I was not so disappointed. The reason for the disappointment was they did not have burnt ends. I went with my mouth watering for them. I ended up having the brisket which was pretty good but a little too fatty for my taste. The other issue is that like some locations that smoke in House the place smelled like smoke. This food truck was contracted to visit and serve at our work place and we were all glad they came. This is probably the best pulled pork sandwich I've ever had. My coworkers and I pooled together and tried a few different items, full loaded chicken nachos, full loaded fries with chicken, pulled pork sandwich, boneless rib sandwich and much much more. Our department is a huge lol. We enjoyed ever dish. They did a great job servicing our location which comprised of two buildings. The spicy BBQ sauce is really spicy but it's so good. It has that island heat not vinegar heat which we loved. The pulled pork was so flavorful and the crunch of the coleslaw was just right. Completely overrated and overpriced for the size of the portions. Just ordered baby back ribs and got spare ribs, ordered corn, but they were out so they gave me soggy fries. Great bbq AAAANNNNDDD some soul food in Royal Palm Beach. What?!!! You hear me, soul food and fantastic bbq in the Publix Shopping Center at Okee and RPB Blvd hidden in the corner. Follow your nose! They have the big, fat turkey legs on Tues and Thurs so if you come another day you may console yourself with some damn good ribs! Although there are sauces available you do not need them. The rub is so good and sugar free for you Keto people! Nice crust on them and cooked to perfection, not all dry and chewy like the places that cook all the flavor out their meat! Now, I am a collard green snob and these are the best collard greens I ever had without meat in them. I can't say if they're vegetarian, but they were not full of grease and there was no fat nor meat but a whole lot of flavor. There was a comment about the mac n cheese looking bad. I don't care how it looks, it was very tasty and had plenty of cheese in it. If you are not familiar with soul food, it is very seasoned and full of flavor and it is not salt free, do ya hear me?! As Good as it gets! BBQ is amazing. Their truck stands out, smells great and has a decent line (don't worry it moves quick). I usually pick the food truck with the longest line because you know the food will be sooooo good. They didn't disappoint. Really reasonable prices for the sampler. Overpriced $5 for a cup of ice tea with no refills. Fair food truck pricing at a brick and mortar store. I'm all for supporting local business but a rip off is a rip off. I have been following meathead BBG food truck for a couple of years now! Really happy that they have opened up restaurant!! I love the baked beans, so flavorful. Was at Flagler Village food trucks. Saw MeatheadsBBQ. Wish I hadn't!!! I got the brisket meal. Not sure where this truck gets it's food but this was no brisket. No smoke flavor, no seasoning. Basically I got about 2oz of some type of meat and rest was all fat. When I ordered the guy making it said "I hooked you up". Thanks but next time just try to give good BBQ. It won't be for me though as I will not buy from them again. Also got sides of baked beans and Mac and cheese. Baked beans were a block of brown sugar with same pepper taste. Mac and cheese was ok. Absolutely poor service ! Truck was at Festival Car Show this afternoon, Sunday. Woman could not get credit card / phone to work and was playing with it while cash paying clients like us waited and waited. It's simple, move the transaction to the side and help others waiting service ..... it doesn't take two people to plug in a modem. We all walked away and went elsewhere, as did two others. I got the pulled pork meal with Cole Slaw and Rice when I wanted Mac&Cheese and they didnt have any. I hate to write less then 5 stars but a few things. I understand more then you know when going from something mobile to a fixed location can be difficult, but I've had your BBQ from both your food truck and your restaurant, and it is a difference of night and day. The ribs were some of the best ribs I've had when I got it off of your food truck, however, when I came in to have the same amazing ribs they were rubber and chewy. Please get them back to falling off the bone and I will most definitely be back in! read more

we ate there a couple weeks ago, and I was not impressed with the paper on a plastic tray, the sauce seeped through the paper as you try to eat. I ordered the brisket, it was cut parallel to the grain making the meat stringy and tough to eat. I didn't even finish it. Also, no sauce on the table, and they charge extra if you want more BBQ sauce. Disappointing. No, it was not another place, I can post a picture the receipt. Pull pork was good , unfortunately that was the only thing that was good. Bun was soggy but the pork was delicious. French fries soggy didn't eat them. Potato salad taste like nothing but mustard. It's a little hard to find good barbecue in northern Palm Beach county so I drove out of my way when I heard about this place. The staff was definitely not very friendly and could not have possibly cared less that half the menu items were not available that day including the brisket, which we were most interested in. It was even more disappointing because we got there shortly after opening so it's clear that they just didn't prepare for the day. I'm not saying the staff was rude btw, they just didn't seem to care. There were also weird menu decisions like excluding French fries as an available side with the platters, forcing you to buy fries separately if you want them, which I've never seen before (wouldn't fries be cheaper than most other side items?). All that being said, I concede that the food was excellent. I have had a lot of southern barbecue in my life, and this was probably among the best I've had. The barbecue ribs were freshly made, tender, moist and flavorful. The seasoning was just right and I don't know if they make their own sauce, but the regular sauce had a good balance of sweetness and flavor. I was impressed. For some reference, these baby back ribs were far better than any you can get from PA BBQ, Sonny's or any of the chain restaurants out there. The pulled pork was similarly good. Not to belabor my point about the food being good, but the mac and cheese was also excellent (although the hint of pepper flavor might not be for everyone, I thought it was great). So, as disappointing as the service was, the food was too good to give a really bad score, but I took of one star. I don't see myself going out of my way to come back because of the service, but if I'm in the area in the future I would come again. So, for those who don't want to read a lot, I can just sum it up by saying that if you like southern style barbecue and are ok with being treated like crap, then you'll love this place! read more

My husband and I decided to try it Meatheads BBQ after seeing others recommend it on social media. They offer delivery through Delivery Dudes...which is both convenient and dangerous (for my wallet). My husband had the beef brisket sandwich with their original sauce. I ordered a combo plate with chicken, pulled pork, and hickory sauce on the side. We also shared an order of their baked beans and collard greens. I found the prices to be very reasonable, especially for the portions. The food was hot, seasoned perfectly, and the sauces worked well with all of the flavors. We genuinely enjoyed everything we ordered and can't wait to try other things on their menu. We even saved our leftovers to use this morning for BBQ breakfast omelettes. read more

First time here. The smell of BBQ welcomed us before we even got inside. Once inside, the place was very clean. The staff was extremely nice & friendly. We ordered the Triple Play (brisket, ribs & pulled pork), collard greens & coleslaw. My daughter had a pulled pork sandwich & fries. First, the meat: OUTSTANDING!! The brisket was so tender and had good flavor. The ribs were crispy at the tips and still fell off the bone. The pulled pork was great. My son who is a picky eater ate most of it. The collard greens were probably the best I've ever had. The coleslaw was good as well. Then came the corn bread!!!! What a nice surprise! These huge pieces of corn bread had just come out of the oven. We had plenty of leftovers for the next day. Wonderful local gem. read more

Oh my! I have heard from numerous people about this place and finally got around to trying them out. They certainly have lived up to their reputation! We purchased a smorgasbord of different things and loved them all! Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. They have three sauces to choose from. The spicy sauce was my favorite. The brisket was some of the best meat we have ever had with the baby back ribs, which were falling off the bone, were a close 2nd! If I had only one critique, it would be the prices are a bit high which will unfortunately keep us from going as often as we like. You do however, get what you pay for. I just noticed MeatHeads Barbecue Restaurant in the corner of the Publix Crossroads Shopping Center at Royal Palm Beach and decided to give them a try. The staff was very friendly, easy to talk to and very attentive. I ordered the pulled chicken sandwich with sauce on the side; Fries, and a Fountain Drink. The food was out quickly and brought to the table. The sauce has a very good flavor was quite good. The entire restaurant was very clean and kept up nicely. There were plenty of paper towels, condiments, moist towletts and even peppermints at each picnic styled table. I would just suggest a few additions of smaller tables made for 1- 2 people. Very seldom does the hype match the outcome. However from the time you exit your car you can tell this "Q" is legit. Walking from the parking lot the aroma was teasing me. I have been twice now, and it's one of the best and most authentic bar b q places around. The menu is a bit awkward but the family owned and operated establishment is friendly and they are there to help. From the collards to brisket to the chicken and the homemade sauces it's all finger lickin good. They have daily specials that will keep it different enough. They have a small but quaint dine in area. They are designed for take out but your welcome to sit and enjoy your food. They have a passion for cooking and the pride is right up front.
