    Jerk chicken, yummy.
    Seth M.

Sometimes a detour or an odd turn on the road can lead you someplace that makes your day. Today I had that experience. A wrong turn and a short ride and there was a food truck. A wonderful aroma wafting all around and few guys waiting for food. I asked out the car window, is it good ? A bunch of thumbs indicated I should check it out, so I did. I didn't get the name of the lady in the truck, but she was very friendly and my order of Jerk chicken with mac n cheese and rice and beans was served up pretty fast. The plate was heavy and smelled so good on the seat of my car. I could barely control my desire to rip it open and eat it right there. When I was finally able to eat I was not disappointed. My plate was full of goodness. The chicken was sooo yummy and the mac n cheese was definitely homemade, creamy and so tasty. The rice and beans were delicious. I finshed the whole thing and I wish I had more. If you wander past this food truck, stop and eat. You will not be disappointed.

We had the brisket sandwich today and it was super tender and flavorful--the best we ever had. We'll be back in a couple days for sure.

A mutual friend connected us with the manager, Stefani, and from the very beginning she was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and accommodating. She made the whole process seamless and got us on the schedule--and after such an amazing experience, we knew we had to come back again this year, for another event! Last year also introduced a lot of our families to this location, as we all have been frequent flyers! Tonight was just as fantastic. We arrived around 6:00 PM, and by 6:30 all 12 of our families (about 50 people!) were settled on the patio. Our server was attentive, friendly, and truly on top of everything. As someone who's worked in the industry, I know how challenging it can be to manage a group that size--especially with lots of kids--and she handled it like a pro! The food did not disappoint! We started with queso and chips (a must!), and everything we ordered was delicious. I had the tuna tostada and a birria taco, my girls enjoyed a quesadilla and chicken fingers from the kids menu, and my husband had the taco salad. The portions were generous, and every bite was so good. And you definitely need to check out happy hour! If you get there before 6 PM, they offer great food and drink specials. The Mango Tango (I ordered mine without jalapeños) was amazing, my husband loved the Watermelon Smash, and another parent couldn't stop raving about the Pineapple Mojito. If you're part of a local sports team looking for a fun way to host a team dinner and raise funds, this is a perfect spot. And if you're in the Royal Palm/Wellington area--trust me, you NEED some PapiChulo in your life. You won't be disappointed! Huge thank you to Stefani and the entire staff for always taking such great care of our crew--we appreciate you so much!

Having seen signs that tacos were served at the gas station, I would always drive by, dismissing the idea of gas station tacos. As a Southern California native, I have yearned for authentic and delicious Mexican food since moving to West Palm Beach. One day, while out shopping, my daughter and I said, why not? If it's good, we'll bring some home for the rest of the family. We did just that. We were absolutely sold. Having now gone back many times, it is always delicious, consistent, clean, and the service is top-notch. I sincerely wish this small but phenomenal business all the foot traffic they can handle. Always reasonably priced and delicious, make sure to bring your appetite and a bit of patience, as your order is prepared fresh. Family favorites are their outstanding chicken tacos, beef tostadas, burritos, and any variety of tortas. They do offer catering as well. I have not used their catering service but it is featured on their Facebook page (serves as the restaurant's website). I have shamelessly lifted photos from their Facebook page.

I knew it was a hit because as soon as I walked in the place was packed and this was a Wednesday night. I ordered their loaded nachos, churros and a drink. I'll start off with the nachos. Would not have had an issue with the forty minute wait for a table but they did not have a bar inside to hang out or a patio area to have drinks. We had to go next door to another restaurant with our buzzer to have drinks while we waited. Finally got a table and service was quick. A few people had giant margaritas. A basket of chips and salsa were brought to the table complimentary which was great. Ordered the triple enchiladas with beans and rice. It was excellent and filling for only $19.99 - well its what it said on the menu even pointing to it on the menu to show the server, who said its large and ordered often. Finished eating a great meal and got the bill where everything went south quickly. Noticed $6.00 additional for the two enchilada orders, so $12.00 extra. I went over the bill with another server since ours disappeared but she could not explain the additional charge. I requested a manager and a guy came by and was shown the receipt and began reading the enchilada section on the menu and seemed confused. Three enchiladas for $19.99 then a smaller section on the left side where there is an added $2.00 for each enchilada. After few minutes, he tried to explain the upcharge and appeared more uncertain of the upcharge intent than everyone at our table. At this point, the menu was still not clear and weirdly difficult to understand the upcharges. Not even an apology or partial waiver or anything. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth and unfortunately it was a great atmosphere and tasty meal. We all left defeated and confused. This issue directly caused a steep drop from 5 stars to an average 3.5 stars, which could have been easily avoided. Please make adjustments to your menu for easier navigation - Thanks.

My friend had eaten there before, so she suggested sitting at the bar due to experiencing really slow service during her last visit. When we arrived, the restaurant wasn't too busy, with a handful of additional people at the bar and a few tables filled with guests. There are a ton of options on the cocktail menu, so after a long deliberation, I decided on the margarita flight. I must say, the presentation is 10/10. Some flavors I enjoyed more than others, and it's not something I would order every visit, but realistically, for the price, it's a good value. Service was indeed slow, even at the bar. I did have to repeat my order several times, so I do believe the staff may be a little new to food service in general. There were a lot of staff working in the main dining room for it to have been so slow. As for the food, I was significantly overwhelmed by all the options on the menu. I decided to go with the elotes off the cob and the empanada flight (steak, chicken and buffalo chicken). The empanada flight was so delicious! I could only finish two of the three, but I thoroughly enjoyed the third one today at work. They weren't only crispy, but the filling was flavorful, and the portion size was great. The elotes were yummy as well. I had enough to take home and finish with my last empanada. Definitely two items I would re-order on another visit. Overall, the service was friendly. We were asked to take a picture, and my friend and I agreed, laughing about possibly ending up on their IG page. Shortly after, the photographer brought us three framed versions of the photo for purchase, lol. Definitely a more Lauderdale/Miami/Atlanta-type lounge move, but funny nonetheless. We politely declined.

Without looking at the menu, we asked our server if they had Jamaica drink. He said yes and brought out this super bright red drink. You could tell they mixed something together. Taste like tamarind and a bunch of cinnamon. Red flag. I should have known we should have left after that. If you don't have something, why lie? We would have happily gotten something else. It was my mistake for not looking at the menu I guess. Chips and salsa were actually very good. Chips were fresh and hot. Salsa was good. Not just raw pico de gallo. As for the burrito, it was very very small for what it was. It was kinda greasy. And the taste was just okay. Bf ordered a lengua quesadilla. The meat was good but it was weird with the bell peppers and onion. With the bell pepper, guac and sour cream, it should really been called a quesadilla supreme. This place wasnt for me.

The menu is large with quite a few lunch specials from which to choose. It was not an easy decision. We enjoyed addictive chips and two salsas (one mild and one spicy) while looking over the menu. My husband got their lunch burrito. It came with sides of refried beans, yellow rice, and salad. There was a dollop of sour cream on top. He had ground beef as his burrito meat filling. He really liked the flavor. He said the tortilla wrapping was soft. He was planning on taking half home for dinner, but wound up eating the entire meal as it was so good. I had an appetizer of shrimp ceviche. The large serving came spread out on a plate. There was a ton of shrimp -- cut piece of larger sized shrimp mixed in with whole baby shrimp; chopped tomatoes, onions, cilantro. All in a marinade. I added an additional squeeze lime and some of the mild salsa. The shrimp dish was delicious. It felt healthy and refreshing -- especially on the hot day. For dessert, we had (vanilla) flan. A large portion that was perfect for us to share. It came with whipped cream and a couple cinnamon sugared chips. This place is a keeper.
