No one likes visiting the Doctor Great service, I went to Med-Cure Internal Medicine for my yearly physical. I wasn't sure how long I would have to wait, we all know how busy doctors offices can be, especially good doctors. I signed in, and updated the required paperwork. The waiting room had a few people however I was called back very quickly. After taking my vitals I went into a patient room and the doctor arrived a few minutes later. After speaking with the doctor I was given paperwork about my visit and I was on my way out the door. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and the doctors address any concerns you have. I have seen Dr Jasrotia at Medcure for a few years and I can say that he is below average in quality care and poor in ethics. A few years ago he switched up my BP meds and didn't tell me during our visit. I had to find out about the switch at the pharmacy so I declined the new meds as I didn't know the side effects. I tried to contact Jasrotia about it but was unsuccessful as he won't talk to you in any manner without another appointment. I feel that he pushed the new meds and another appointment for money reasons. Recently, May 2026, during a physical, my blood test showed a lower than normal eGFR score (kidney function score). I had to draw his attention to this score as he either didn't see it or didn't care and started to move on. After asking about the lower number he told me not to worry about it and would re-test me in 6 months. He also said he couldn't diagnose me with CKD (chronic kidney disease) without that number being low for 3+ months. I felt 6 months for a re-test was a little long to wait but took his advice not to worry. A few days later, I read his clinical notes from my appointment and I saw that he diagnosed me with CKD stage 3a. I was shocked! I called the Medcure clinic in an attempt to speak with his nurse in order to get a call back or some communication from Jasrotia and she set up a time later that day for a conference call. Later that day, I received a call from yet another member of the clinic who said that I would receive a link in order to join a tele-health appointment. I refused saying that I just had some questions for the doctor. I didn't want to pay for another appointment just to ask a question from a previous visit. He refused to talk with me outside the appointment and still, several weeks later, has made no attempt to contact me by any means. I feel he is putting money before his patients. I then got a second opinion on my CKD diagnosis from another clinic in June 2026 and they gave me a blood test. They told me that Jasrotia was not authorized to diagnose me with CKD yet. My blood test with the other clinic showed a normal eGFR score clearly showing that Jasrotia was wrong to make the diagnosis. The problem I see is that I have a permanent record at Medcure showing that I have CKD Stage 3a when, in fact, I don't. I also don't know how to get it changed in my records. The office manager Brenda is no longer there. Ever since this happened I've called every few months to see if she was gone. I was hoping maybe different management could help change things around so nobody is showing up to cancelled appointments without being told or told it's your fault for not checking that they were repeating yearly labs. There's a reason you're required to sign a document in new patient appointments saying you won't curse out the staff- because they are completely inept and will leave you wanting to scream. Receptionist/s rude not pleasant at all. Medication refill requests took 2 weeks to get to my pharmacy. Doctors always in a hurry to see patients. Hardly, ever get thru their office lines. Understaffed, poor office management, records are a mess, duplicate profiles etc. Dont't even think about going here. read more

I saw Dr Manav Jasrotia 3-4 times.He does not have much of a personality, but was professional until my last visit. I was scheduled for a physical exam for my last visit at 2:00pm. As I was waiting a very pretty Drug rep entered the office with cookies and stated she had an appt to meet with the Drs at 2:15. She was let into the office. I have worked in Drs offices for almost 50 years having retired in 2020. I was called back into the room at 2:15.. Dr came in and announced I was there for a physical which was correct. I was and still am dealing wita particularly serious bout of IBS which I was seeing a Gastro Dr for and I began to tell the Dr about it and. he began to tell me what he felt my diet should be and I already knew that and I was trying to tell him I had tried that and he just kept talking over me. Then he just stood up and said he'd see me in 2 months and walked out. Did not touch me or even listen to my heart and lungs, did not discuss my diabetes or any questions, was not able to ask for a handicapped driver certification. The assistant came in to escort me back to the front and I told her I needed the handicapped driver note and she left, came back and said he was with the drug rep and she would ask him when he was done. She finally brought it and took me up front where she said he would see me in 4 months. which was not what he told me but I just left, very disgusted with the whole visit. The handicapped form was filled out incorrectly and I couldn't use it so I had to call them and they did another one which I never picked up because I will never return to that office. They billed my insurance for the physical but it has not paid them for some reason. I think because they changed the visit to a wellness visit. I've not seen such bad medical care in all my years working with physicians. Even if I gave him a reason to dislike me, he still has an obligation to give good medical care,, at least for that visit. But, it looked like he was more interested in that pretty rep and her cookies. Very sad and I feel discouraged and will never go back. Yes, I am 73, overweight and have multiple medical problems but I am still intelligent and should not have been treated as if I had no brain. I've been coming here for 2 years now and I'll never come back. Dr ONG was AMAZING! But, everything else wasn't. If you have an appointment at 8am, you won't get in until after 8:30am. They take forever and by the time you're out of there it'll be past an hour. & the phones are ALWAYS busy so I can never get ahold of anybody. I was supposed to have blood work done and I made sure to call the doctors office and make sure they had sent my referral to Sonora quest so that I was all good. They said it was sent a while ago and I wanted to make sure it was still valid and it didn't expire. They confirmed that it was still valid and I'm all good to go. I show up at Sonora quest and they don't have my referral. Turns out it was never sent, so the receptionist lied to me. So now I was stuck at Sonora quest for 2 hours because the office doesn't answer their phones. Ridiculous. I'll be changing Doctor's office. read more

After writing in the patient portal that the front desk staff was HORRIBLE, nothing changed. Instead the office chastised ME for complaining. Recently Dr Jasrotia fired me. I have frequent depression after losing my only son 6 years ago. I moved here with my husband who also went to Med cure. I have Diabetes type 2, I'm on insulin and have hypertension. I had asked my doctor to write a note for my job so that someone would know my habits and needs. He was uncomfortable. My response was angry but not threatening or out of the ordinary. Their response there was shocking; they suggested I find a new doctor and offered to treat me for about 3 more weeks til I found someone. So here I am in a new city, having seen Dr J for THREE years, knowing not where to go......2 major health setbacks and an unstable doctor who couldnt take my little note on the portal so he booted me out. Soon after, I got some palpitations which scared me terribly. I asked during my 3 week grace period if they would do an ekg since I did not have a new doctor yet. They agreed. I went in with my husband and we were escorted to a room where they did the ekg. Dr J NEVER even said hello. He was in the alcove where the doctors take notes and dictation so he was clearly in that day. I saw him. He didnt have the kindness or compassion to even look up and say hello let alone come into the room to shake hands before I was leaving his practice. Where I come from this is not done. ESPECIALLY because my own behavior did not warrant this response. Get a book on "etiquette" Dr J. Or have YOUR heart checked. From what I've experienced, you dont have one though. And yes the front desk is awful. Lastly you always seemed to have a problem with my sadness over my son. You encouraged me to take anti depressants even Abilify though it brought my sugars up. I like my doctor very much. He is not the problem. The problem is the front desk workers. When you contact them, they say they will call you back concerning RX refills and messages to the doctor about treatment status and they never do. I contacted them several times and never got a response back from them. They don't do their job. Now I have to change doctors because of this incompetence. read more

NO ACCOUNTABILITY BY MED/FRONT OFFICE STAFF! Let me preface this by stating I understand Dr. Garg himself is quite good. The clinic came recommended from a family friend. I booked my appointment over the phone with Rachel for the following afternoon. The following day I showed up half an hour early than the scheduled time to complete the new patient forms. Upon presenting myself to the staff they just looked at me and said "appointment? what appointment? There are no doctors here. They all left early.".!!! I took 2 hours off work between the appointment and traffic. No one believed that I had booked an appointment until I mentioned the person who booked it said her parent's have the same insurance as myself. Well, guess who that was? RACHEL, who was sitting at the desk quietly the entire 15 minutes. She meekly said it was her, but she was new and didn't "know" what happened to the appointment she (admitted) booked. She must have forgotten to hit enter. The other person at the desk then believed me and offered to re-schedule the next day first thing. Gave me all the paperwork in advance and took my insurance information so I would be in and out in 30 minutes. After checking to make sure I was in their system this time, I left. The next day I was the first patient for one of the new doctors. By 8:25 I was still waiting along with a lot of other patients. A lady in a white coat walked through the front door about 827 and snuck into the back. Well, it was the doctor with whom I had my 8am appointment. Do you think she apologized by the time I she saw me at 845? Not a practice for those of us who have to take time off from work to see a doctor. In addition, when I initially spoke with the front office they told me all the doctors were MDs (good) and they all attended medical school in the US. I found out the latter was not true. The office manager, to whom I could report my incident, left early on the first day and didn't arrive until past 930 on my second day. I waited 12 minutes to check out while the staff were discussing personal business. I just left in disgust. They can send me a bill. Finally, my exam room had over 10 holes drilled into a cinder block wall, needed painting, did not appear clean and looked like a clinic I had been to in Mexico. Dr Garg I understand you are great, but the Office Manager needs to be replaced, the front office staff at least re-trained, and housekeeping at a minimum to work overtime to catch up on the basics.
