A couple employees will squirt sanitizer on their gloves now and then but the lady who did my test did not. Before that she was helping others and handling paperwork and other object including the phone. WTF?? It COVID and they're not taking precautions they should. Their doctors are supposed to be on call and available to concierge patients through phone and text but it is extremely difficult to get a call back, and the office staff seem to go out of their way to be unhelpful. Calls are not returned, information is not passed on to physicians, and the entire office seems confused. They refer to themselves as a concierge practice but essentially have no idea what that actually should be. Front office staff seem nice but follow up and response is awful. Doctors get impatient with patients because they are being told by office staff that information is being sent out when it actually isn't, and the doctors don't seem to have the time to follow up on anything. A concierge practice that keeps you waiting for two months for lab results, repeatedly telling you that the lab hasn't sent them over when you know very well that Quest diagnostics have results back in a couple of days. Office staff will also tell medical staff that results have been sent out and that patients are somehow mistaken, leading to extreme frustration at the patient level. Doctors seem knowledgeable but are clearly too rushed with too many patients and a very poorly trained support staff.

I was told my back injury was because I was too fat and should be back to normal in a week. The Newport doctor spent 10 minutes on me and pushed me out the door. Well, two weeks after that I was still in excruciating pain and was unable to walk. After that I went to Dr. Legome's office. He did a thorough exam that took around 30 minutes, and after he was certain I had herniated disc. He said that I would need an epidural and ordered an MRI to make sure of the location that I needed to be injected. The MRI came back and sure enough I had a herniated disc that was causing the trouble. I had an epidural and got relief, and subsequently Dr Legome has had me doing exercises that have been helping improve my ability to walk and move around. I think Dr Legome is a godsend, and I appreciate the time he spends making accurate and intelligent diagnoses. I will be a patient of his for a long time I'm sure, and I would recommend him to anyone with back issues.
