I walk into a literally empty waiting room only to be told that I have to wait 1.5 hours for my infant to be seen because other people have scheduled appointment. Apparently they are only strictly an urgent care for two hours in the morning. Ridiculous that they can call themselves an urgent care. People to establish a primary care so that others have access to true urgent care. I feel like Medexpress Urgent Care should have to change their name. I've used them for years, but due to this change I won't be back. read more

An appointment was scheduled for 10:30 for a sports physical. We arrived about 5 minutes before the appointment & paperwork was completed about 5 minutes after that. The nurse didn't come & get basic health measurements (I.e. blood pressure, weight, height, etc.) until 12:25. At which point, we are finally placed in a room to then wait some more for the doctor. The wait was absolutely ridiculous, especially because an appointment was scheduled. While the staff was nice & apologetic (when asked about the wait) waiting about 2 hours to be seen is obscene. Finally, left Medexpress about 1:15! Note- because you have to pay out of pocket, I had paid when I checked in. If I had known, we'd be waiting this long, we absolutely would've left, but didn't know about the refund process so we stayed. Medexpress should give me my money back & consider asking for payment later or advising their patients at the very beginning that the wait time will be incredibly long. Sat in the lobby for 2 hours. Was then told I would be seen "any minute". Waited another 30 minutes. This place is absolutely garbage.

I should have read the reviews about this place and saved a trip there. I was told over the phone that I could be started on blood pressure medication because of a failed DOT physical. When I went in I was informed that they could not help me and that I would have to find a primary doctor which I did not have at the time. Now I'm pretty sure that would've pissed off the most benign person on earth. You won't get another chance to waist my time incompetents. read more

Front desk staff was not very friendly. They were not mean, but they did not do one thing to create an experience that would make me choose this location vs any other urgent care in the area. The treatment was no better on check out. They just slid me a receipt and turned back to their work. No thank you for coming, I am glad we could help you, hope you feel better, take it easy. Nada. Missed opportunity to convert a customer. The doctor treatment was hasty. Facility did not have proper lighting. I actually had to hold a flash light while doc removed stitches from my child:( doc actually missed one stitch which my child saw later and removed himself. Very professional and caring staff. I have used this office on numerous occasions. My wait time is reasonable, the staff friendly and the exams thorough. They were able to check my blood sugar, X-ray a broken toe and diagnose an ear infection all in house. read more

I went to MedExpress with my 5 year old on 5/10/22 because he was in excruciating pain with an ear infection. We were admitted, waited for approx 15 minutes, and during the time his vitals were being taken, I was told I would have to wear a mask. I informed the lady taking the vitals that I had been there the entire time and no mask requirement was communicated (nor was any signage posted to the effect that masks were required). She then informed me we would be denied service because I would not put on a mask. This is a violation of the medical code medical professionals take when getting licensing--they swear to provide service to those who need care. It's ridiculousnesses to be denied service for a 5 year old who was whimpering in pain because of a corporate policy. This "policy" was not posted nor communicated to me in advance--there is no Federal or State laws requiring masks and citizens who are clearly in pain should NEVER be denied medical care because of corporate policy with regards to masks--clear violation of medical code of ethics. I requested to have contact information for a regional representative to discuss this and was told I could not be given a phone number because the only one they had was a personal cell for a man named Eamon. So this company is hiring people no one can talk to because they don't have a work line?! Seems strange and unprofessional. There should not be a black hole to communication. I was provided with a corporate number which ended up being the wrong number. I googled the correct number and am awaiting a call from Eamon. This whole situation is a violation of medical ethics and does not comply with the law. read more

After having a painful and persistent sore throat for five days, I finally decided it was time to see a doctor. This urgent care center is fairly new so it's definitely more modern with nicer fixtures and appliances, although the waiting area is pretty standard. I don't remember seeing any water, which is usually offered at urgent care centers. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly, helpful, and quick. I was informed that their co-pay is now $50. That seemed pretty high. I only waited about 20 minutes before I saw a doctor. She was kind and seemed genuinely interested in solving my problem. Luckily, I did not need an antibiotic but she did prescribe two medications that I picked up there before I left. No need to drive to the pharmacy. All in all, I think I would return here in the future if I have an urgent care need. read more

I visited this office to be tested for Lyme Disease which was advertised as a service on their website. I also called ahead of time to make sure they could test me. The desk staff was friendly and efficient and after about 30 minutes, a nurse took me back to check my vital signs and discuss how the process would work. She then took me to an exam room where I waited about another 30 minutes for the PA. The PA was very friendly but had to inform me that they could not test me for Lyme due to the fact I hadn't been bitten within the past few weeks. She then referred me to a primary care physician. That was fine, but just saw the claim to Tricare. They billed $240 to basically check my pulse and blood pressure and give me five minutes of advice. Wow. read more

I came in midday Saturday there was a very short wait before I was taken back to be checked in and cared for by one of the most non judgmental, caring and genuine staff I've encountered. I would highly recommend this medexpress to anyone and I usually leave doctors offices wondering if they could care less about my long term health. read more

Took my child there with obvious signs of pink eye. He is a military dependant so he has Tricare. I don't have a card but I have all the information including the sponsors social. They wouldn't see him cause I didn't have a card. They are so worried about money that they don't pay attention to the actual patient. This is why people take non emergent issues to the ER...places like this that see dollar signs and not the welfare of our patients. read more
