Friendly front desk.. check in was easy.. then the nurse tech was so nice.. I was stressed and she was very calming. As for the Nurse Practitioner she went above and beyond to explain everything and didn't give up when the first test she performed didn't form a diagnosis. She tried one more test and that was the test that finally gave the diagnosis. The front desk girls of this place are so unprofessional and bad at their job. I've been a few times because it's the closest urgent care and they are always a train wreck. The place is wildly slow too. I started going to the rockledge one on us1 and it is so much better. This place was filthy. It looks like they haven't cleaned the floors in years, the bathroom was disgusting. The front desk girls were not welcoming nor friendly. The employees were just standing in the hallway with nothing to do while there was a lot of people waiting in the lobby. I got to my room and they had used supplies out from their last patient. What I thought might be related to my eczema was a painful skin infection with an abscess, requiring an antibiotic and warm compresses. I will return in a few days to see if it will require lancing. From the E.M.T to the sweet, kind, and gentle Doctor/PA/NP (I didn't catch his name and title, but he was wonderful) every medical personnel was knowledgeable, patient, thorough, and kind. Adam, the young medic who cleaned up and bandaged "the wound" at the end, was personable and funny, making me laugh through my discomfort. Every Med-Fast clinic offers excellent care, and the Viera Med-Fast Clinic is no different. I highly recommend it. It is EXCELLENT in that they care for your illness while treating you like a human being. You're not just a number on an assembly line at Med-Fast. I've also been treated through the years in the Cocoa Beach, Rockledge, and Suntree locations, and I am very pleased with the Medfast at Viera, too. Visited 3 times : 1st visit rating - 4 stars Doctor was very nice and I was prescribed medication which helped my condition . The weight time was not too long and all staff members were attentive 2nd and 3rd visit rating - 1 star Both times I arrived around 1 and 1/2 hrs before closing time with the need for a COVID 19 rapid test and both times I was told " we have tests but we are done testing for the day come back another time " when I asked when was the latest I could go the answer was " it depends on the day I cannot tell you a time " --- need I say more ? ... I'll add that the first time there was nobody waiting to be seen and the second time just 2 people in line :( Disappointed! read more

Doctors are caring and considerate of your time. Not the just throw a medication at you, they take the time to listen.

I called prior to them closing around 6 o'clock asking if they can see my four month old for an ear infection. It's about a 15-20 minute drive from my location and when I arrived, they stated they only see seven month olds and older and they couldn't see my child because of his age... That's extremely frustrating since I had previously called them, so this really goes to show the lack of attention to detail per the representatives answering the phone. I had nowhere else to go, and this was not a visit for the ER. If the representative would have clarified the age of my child, I would haven't known I cannot go there and would have see another facility to go to. It's absolutely pathetic that they have one job to answer the phone to get detailed information and they couldn't even do that properly. read more

My teenage son woke up with a horrible ear pain this morning. I have two kiddos that attend Viera High School. So, I thought I will drop one off at school and go to Medfast for my son. My son has been seen at the Suntree site, so didn't think anything would be wrong My son and I walked in and I should of just walked out. I was treated like second rate citizen. The lady at the front looked me up and down. It was not a welcoming look. She asked what she can do for me. I told her my son has a terrible ear pain and we wanted to get seen this morning. She asked for my insurance and and driver's license. She takes my insurance card and gives these aboustly nasty faces, flipping the card back and forth. Then finally said we don't take this insurance. In my mind I was like you took it last year in Suntree. I finally decided I didn't want to be treat like crap again. I said okay and left. I drove my sick son back to Suntree Medfast. They took my insurance and treated me like a human being. I will never go back to Viera Medfast!!! read more

I needed a health form to be signed ASAP and found that they charged me a doctors visit for this one health form! Can't believe a signature costs $200! Won't be visiting again! Just got the bills and tried using the website to pay online! What a mess! Just go to another Urgent Care! This place likes to charge you an office visit just to get forms signed! Don't go here if you need a covid test. Waited an hour just to get turned away because they don't have people to check you in on the computer. Never mind that we are all sick and have been waiting in the sun for an hour. This place royally sucks read more

I had a great experience at this location! Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable. I was seen within a few minutes which is great because when I don't feel well the last thing I want to do is sit in a waiting room! The doctor was very caring and he listened to what I had to say. I don't recommend. Went in for Covid symptoms, got tested was positive. Asked for an anti-viral treatment instead of Paxlovid. Got the run around and said he would send in an order for paxlovid. Waited for over 2 hours and still nothing called into pharmacy, called back and they said they would get the dr to call it in. Back and forth with the pharmacy to find out they wouldn't fill it because the dosage was incorrect. Finally found out he wouldn't prescribe it and that I had to power thru the symptoms! My wife got came down with flu symptoms. She tried the two Urgent Cares in Titusville, but they were crowded. I came home and took her to Viera in route to the VA when I saw this BRAND NEW Urgent Care with no cars in the parking lot--No Wait--what's better than that? We made a u-turn, and pulled in. It deceptively looked closed because the parking lot was empty and there was construction taking place in the next suite over. They were really open, and there was NO WAIT. I am new to the Viera area. When I entered the Med-Fast office in Viera, the receptionist asked me what I was there for. I said I needed to see the Dr. for my allergies. I get bad coughs when my sinuses act up and it usually turns into a sever sinus infection. I waited for 1.5 hours to see the medical person and I noticed the medical person was very young when she entered the room. I asked her if she was a Dr., Nurse Practitioner, or a Physicians Assistant. The reason I asked is because a PA cannot write a prescription for cough medicine with codeine without a doctors consent. There was a specific reason I stated to the receptionist, at the Viera Med-Fast, that I wanted to see the Doctor. I would advise going somewhere else or if you need to see a Doctor or check first if you want to take a chance. PAs are very good for minor issues but they have limitations. read more

I am so impressed by the providers here. I got there about 15 minutes before opening and was 4th in line. My issue was not Covid. I explained to the provider how I was feeling and that I have a history of the issue I thought it was. He examined me and agreed that given my history and listening to my lungs that we should be on the safe side and treat my issue aggressively. Most of the time the walk ins haven't listed to me and gave me meds I knew wouldn't work. I'm so happy with this location. They are working really hard due to the pandemic and I'm happy that I was able to be seen and seen very quickly at that. read more

In spite of a mad rush of patients concerned about Covid (who lined up outside the building before the clinic even opened), the staff went way above and beyond to see and treat patients expediently, professionally, and compassionately. In fact, even before entering the door, one patient fell ill, and the staff quickly addressed her issue. I was truly impressed with the great attitudes of everyone working there (especially Avery) considering how swamped they were with patients! Even after i left, when i had to phone with a medicine question, the physician took the time to clarify my concerns. This is a great facility to have in our community! read more

I went there the other day there was not a soul in that place I wasn't feeling good my left arm was killing me and all they could say was go to the ER where they should've checked me out besides taking my blood pressure they should've hooked me up to an EKG but they didn't because they all looked lazy they didn't wanna do a thing they didn't want to lift a finger they might have to work that's the impression I got and I told the car doctor on duty and he was angry. absolute worst place to go that's my second time and I should have known better my grandson was tested a week ago with flu a and I am watching him and sure enough four days later I came down with it too when I went there they took the test first of all I should say when I went to know what was in it but it still took him about 30 minutes to see me because they're all lazy and standing around and then when she took the swab test she hardly touched my nose and sure enough it came back negative I feel even worse now than the two days before I went there every time I go there it's negative and I feel so miserable and what bothers me the most no doctor sees you there I am not the first one this is happening to my son the father of my grandson the same problem sick like a dog runs fever tested him and it's negative stay away from this please stay at home in your bed and take care of yourself you're better off than going there read more
