I continuously get excellent care at this facility. The providers are caring, considerate, highly knowledgeable, and friendly. They take the time to thoroughly explain conditions and provide written handouts for future reference. The nurses are equally thorough and trained. I generally have a very minimal wait, even during very busy times. I highly recommend this place and Scott S and Weston are both tops in this field if you are lucky enough to meet them. read more

They saved my life! I had a bad kidney infection and I didn't know it. They insisted I go to ER and get cat scan thank goodness I did !t was so bad I had to have 2 rounds of antibiotics and sent home with more antibiotics. Thank you for your help and kindness read more

Brought my daughter in with a high fever , both of us are in the healthcare field & are concerned she may have COVID 19. Dr interrupted us & couldn't get out of the room fast enough rushing us out saying she has an ear infection . Never asked about allergies or anything. We asked for a flu test Which he said no. This place should not be called medfast. It should be called medslow as hell! I came in for a covid test. Figured I'd be in and out. Well NO. Not at all. It was not only slow but the lady at the front desk is rude as anything. Has an attitude from the time you say hi. Asks for your ID and insurance, gives you paperwork and abruptly shuts the window. If you try to speak she gives you a short answer. Ugh I'm never going here again. I recommend people to try other locations other than this one. No one wants to feel worse than when you first come in. read more

I have been over charged for things I never received. I have paid for what I did receive when I was there, and have been trying to have these charges removed from my bill. The office refuses to acknowledge that they have overbilled me I have filed a complaint with health first to look into this over billing. The office has been rude and insists that I received these procedures. I should knowSince I was there whether I received them or not. ! If I could give zero stars I would. I was in a car accident and went into medfast just to be checked out. I didn't feel I had any serious injuries but just to be safe. I expected there to be a wait which is typical, that I can't complain about. Once my name was called I went back and the nurse took my vitals. Finally after another half hour wait the doctor comes in and tries to hand me a pamphlet for an accident and injury center. She recommend I go see them. I actually got a phone call from them as I was sitting in the office. The extent of her exam was touching my face and asking if it hurt. I At the very least expected her to take a light to my eyes to see if my eyes were responding in case of a concussion. But no, instead she pushed me away to someone else. I ended up going to health first the next day for a real exam. This was all in August. Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago. They sent me a bill for $196 from that exam. Almost $200 to just send me elsewhere. I wish I could dispute medical bills like this because that is absolute nonsense. I work in a medical office and 100% understand paying for you services. Here marks the issue, there were no services given. A waste of time and money. Please seek real medical help if you aren't well. This place is best used for getting a doctors note if you're looking to play hooky. read more

I received the worst care ever at this branch of MedFast -- it was more like the opposite of care. I went in on a Saturday after suffering from a fever and body aches for seven days. The doctor did zero testing. When I told him my fever began after I had numerous mosquito bites, he told ME to contact the Florida Department of Health because he could not figure out their website. Then he shared that he had recently had a virus that lasted a week and suggested I take a Benedryl. That's it. Fast forward three more days to Tuesday morning. I was then ten days with a fever, and I showed up at 9am. I was the only patient, but the office did not have a doctor. There was some sort of office meeting going on. The PA was "stuck in traffic on 95." I was put into a room within a half hour (again, I was the only patient there. The trash can in the room was filled to the top with debris. There was no separate "sharps" container. When the nurse saw how high my fever was, she decided I needed a mask. The PA arrived and checked me out and ordered a flu test (negative) and a urine test (also negative). I was not told what was being checked/tested in my blood. When I asked the nurse, she told me she didn't know, either. The PA sent me home with instructions to call in 2 days to get results of the blood test. So I called in 2 days, still with fever, only to be told all the results weren't in. The nurse assured me the doctor would call me the following day; however, he did not by 4:30pm. So I called and was told by the receptionist that all results were normal. The staff never asked me how I was doing. They never followed up with me. They didn't even ask me if I still had a fever (I did). In a state with a high number of mosquito borne illnesses, I shudder to think of how many people are sick and not counted when they encounter medical facilities such as these. My doctor back in Texas would have tested me for all known mosquito-borne fevers, especially as I was so ill. Fourteen days of fever and body aches and eye pain, and no one else in my family caught it...sure sounds like it might have been from a mosquito. My apologies, pregnant women in Brevard County. I don't know if I had Zika. And thanks to this clinic, you don't know, either. read more

I never do Yelp reviews , it's not my thing i typically don't care enough to do so but i had to this time because this was THE ABSOLUTE WORST service i could possibly receive. These people have NO idea what they're doing and simply don't care about their patients and it SHOWS. I have gone here before to get a Covid test and also figure out what i was sick with before that was a sinus infection and they basically just gave me random medicine that i didn't even need . Today i go in to get a Covid test and find out what's wrong with me walking in with a Fever , sore throat , swollen glands, headache , body aches and nausea . I told the nurse I'll need a dr note for work and she agreed I'm very sick and need to stay home. When the Dr came in she interrupted me , basically dismissed all of my other symptoms minus my sore throat including my fever trying to tell me it's basically just allergies ... until i made it more apparent that she had no idea what she was talking about and got the chance to talk over her and retell her my symptoms including my FEVER. She then decided to prescribe me the EXACT same medicine from my last visit . I then told her if this is antibiotics just like last time i would need yeast infection medicine and she got irritated with me and told me then it should be in the system even though i told her this last time . She told me when i go to leave to get my yeast infection prescription from the lady at the desk on my way out . When i asked the lady for it at the desk she said "for a Covid test?" I then said "no i am sick and got antibiotics and need it . She said you'd have it ready for me" she then said "oh ? Hold on" then went and got it . It is very obvious these people do NOT care about their customers nor are they good at communicating with each other. I also never got a doctors note when i mentioned it to TWO people one which agreed (the nurse) that i needed one and to stay home . I am beyond upset with my visit. read more

I have been coming here for a while. Tonight I showed up 40 minutes prior to closing time and was told I could not be seen. This is a follow up visit because the antibiotics they prescribed last time did not adequately treat my double ear infection. I explained this to the receptionist to no avail. I got the unmistakable impression that she did not care what the issue was, they weren't going to deal with it. Too bad, we have enough patients to finish the day. Bye. That's it! My employer made a deal with this place to save money. We have 2300 employees. I will definitely be reporting this to our benefits coordinator. This is not the advertised level of service. Went into this urgent care on Monday, December 4th. I couldn't breath and my lungs were saturated with fluid. The "PA" gave me Prednisone and a cough pill. I asked him for an antibiotic but he said I didn't need it. I got worse, barely able to breath, and my lungs became extremely painful. Went to my regular doctor on December 13th. My illness migrated into walking pneumonia and then migrated into Plurisy. My doctor prescribed 2 very strong antibiotics. I was barely able to move due to the pain in my lungs. I couldn't work for 2 days. So Medfast, when you see someone that needs help, HELP THEM. Don't discount their need and try to get them out of your office as fast as you can. People, be ware of these so called caregivers. They just don't care!!! read more

Nightmare visit and will never go back. I was placed in a room and sat there for over an hour with a severe migrane. I stepped out twice asking for the doctor and I was told she is busy doing a procedure. No one informed me of this extended wait! Also the wall are paper thin... overheard ALL staff talking about their holidays and even heard the doctor on the phone with her father. I could also over hear the nurses debating outside of my room if they were comfortable giving me 2 shots. I then requested a iv fluid bag and the nurse told the doctor Infront of me that she felt uncomfortable inserting the pick line and wanted help. Well let's just say I had a bruise the size of a baseball after. The nurse also cut my iv line!!! Blood everywhere. So much lack of knowledge and professionalism. I will never return and I advise others not to allow the staff to debate their comfort level on preforming medical treatments on you! read more

After not feeling well for over a week with no appetite, weakness and a rash all over most of my body I decided to make an appointment to get tested for Covid-19. I made an appointment in Rockledge as they had designated their afternoons for testing. I arrived on time and called them to let them know I was waiting in the parking lot and to stay in my car as instructed. This is Florida remember so after waiting with my car running for 45 mins I called and reminded them I was still waiting. A few minutes later a man came out to get me. He had no mask, no gloves, no gown, just his regular scrubs...Now remember, this was a designated Covid-19 testing afternoon! He had me go into one of the smallest rooms where there was no room for social distancing or any distancing of any kind! He asked me what I thought my symptoms were and when I told him he asked me again what my symptoms were. I had to tell him that a body rash was a Covid-19 symptom. Now remember, he is sitting a foot away from me with no PPE, nothing! He proceeded to bring the vital sign machine in the room, take my vital signs, roll the blood pressure cuff back up without cleaning and roll the machine back into the hallway. He left my door wide open and started doing his paperwork at the desk without ever washing his hands! I watched as another staff member then grab the same UNCLEANED machine and roll it into the room next to me to take their vital signs. I waited for the MD who eventually came in with full PPE on! I was feeling so bad I did not have the strength to get into this gross neglect and breech of infection control argument , but lets face it, it should never have been an issue and most people not in the medical field may have missed some of these practices. I am a Registered Nurse who needed not to think but just be cared for with the advanced infection control practices needed for this simple visit! read more
