The SOLE PURPOSE of this agency like any fiscal intermediary is to serve as **administrative**…read moreliaison between Medicaid and disabled--largely HOUSEBOUND--people. With that in mind, can anyone explain why, as a CDPAP Consumer I've found: ~~There was ~0 actual training as to how to clock in/out. Just 1 shoddy poorly edited document...and calls left unreturned. ~~They have ZERO electronic workflow re returning timesheets, requiring HOUSEBOUND clients and/or carers to do major extra admin (!!) bc they're unable/unwilling to provide THEIR form on THEIR letterhead (probably CREATED in Adobe) in FILLABLE PDF form. I get it if maybe most of their "consumers" are elderly/not electronically inclined, and if I the newly minted, "geriatric millenial" cripple must wait a week, but ... 4 weeks? With my carer still not getting paid?? Bc you can't do better than a LITERALLY shady JPG screenshot in lieu of an actual timesheet??? My already overworked carer (when none of us get enough hours/assistance from the State to begin with) shouldn't have to make additional errands to put stuff in snail mail or fax etc bc they can't do their basic jobs as ADMINISTRATORS. It's called Adobe--you can fill forms out ONLINE in ways that are more accessible for EVERYONE much less chronically online cripples. It's 2023, and it's called ACCESSIBILITY. ~~I'm a disabled Consumer in the program, and NO ONE has been returning my texts/emails? They instead have insisted on hounding my carer--who already works 60+ hours a week--in disgustingly ableist fashion, BLATANTLY IGNORING my pleas, to PLEASE CENTER ALL COMMS w ME as I attempt to spare him extra work that he needs as much as I need more migraines, or more POTS flares choking me out, or being pissed on with more ableist BULLPEE like this. Yana, one of the bosses, spoke to me like a human--congrats Yana and THANK YOU! But it seems the other two staff I've dealt with somehow LOST the ability and keep trying to LEAVE ME OUT of discussions of my own care when I've provided MY email/text as well as my carer's AND pleaded with them to please not keep putting MORE admin work on him! Hint: Both texts AND emails can go to TWO PEOPLE at once!!! It actually makes your ADMIN jobs EASIER bc you put it in writing--accessibly, for an autistic brain foggy, bloodchoked bitch like myself--ONCE, and boom you're done! It's accessible--to both the Consumer directing their care, AND the Personal Assistant who the Consumer has chosen to hire! Happy to provide "receipts" of these unanswered texts/emails when I have the spoons--assuming they don't remedy this stat. I will note my phone has been broken last week or so which has complicated things; but the worker currently assigned to my case? Has an Apple device and can FaceTime Audio with me any time, which I explicitly mentioned to her. Besides Apple...you know what other word starts with A.....?? The gall of this ish, when your ENTIRE business is based on making money/your own living OFF OF DISABLED PEOPLE, is incredible! F8^k ableism. Apparently they believe that bc my body is choking off bloodflow (thanks, dysautonomia and Long COVID-Associated Conditions!) to my brain and heart? That leaving me out of convos about MY home care and disregarding my requests/messages is the way to go. But yay for CDPAP--don't let our Governor get away with stealing MORE MONEY from taxpayers to lock cripples like me away in institutions!

WARNING: Serious Safety Issues…read more I would strongly caution anyone considering Special Touch Home Health Care to look elsewhere. My experience with this agency involved negligence, untrained aides, missed coverage, and a complete lack of transparency, all of which put my uncle's safety at risk. On multiple occasions, the agency failed to send a scheduled home health aide, leaving a vulnerable patient without care. When aides were sent, some were clearly untrained and unable to safely perform basic tasks, including transfers. Most alarming, an aide sent by this agency allowed my uncle to fall twice within a two-hour period. Even worse, the agency did not notify me about the second fall or that EMS was called. I only discovered this by reviewing footage from my in-home security cameras. This kind of lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable in home health care. Despite repeated emails and complaints, the agency showed a cavalier and dismissive attitude, failed to take responsibility, and did not implement meaningful corrective action. These are not isolated mistakes--they point to systemic problems with training, staffing, and oversight. If you are caring for a loved one, I strongly encourage families who experience issues with this agency to also report concerns to: Medicaid / Managed Care Plans State Department of Health Waiver programs (such as NHTD) Accrediting and oversight agencies Public reviews matter, but formal complaints are what protect patients and force accountability. If safety, transparency, and competent care matter to you, stay away from this agency.

Very unprofessional....SAD it's still open Be very careful…read moreinstall a camera, make surprise visits.... I wish I would have done this in the beginning. I don't know if criminal backgrounds are done... I have video's of my poor mother being verbally abused. Caution beware!!! Had to give one star to post this. UGH!!!
