Roy, the owner of Blue Mountain Pools, has stood by his product every single step of the way. We…read morehad our old 90s pool refurbished. It looked gorgeous! I was so excited I couldn't wait to go swimming. Once inside I freaked out. All the tiles were scratched up. I couldn't believe it. Turns out one of the guys used the wrong rag to clean up and ended up scratching every single tile. Roy didn't miss a beat. He never played any games with me. Never gave me a hard time about it. He copped to the mistake and simply redid all the tiles. He handled the problem promptly and without any fuss. I really appreciate that. I have dragged that man over here several times to ask about this or that. He always shows up with a great can do attitude. You can trust him to do the right thing always. So refreshing. The pool is so beautiful now with the blue shiny tiles and the deep teal water. Sometimes I just lay outside looking at it. :) Ahhhh Summer.... wish it would last just a little bit longer.

If I could give zero stars for Blue Mountain Pools I would. Nothing but trouble due to one issue…read moreafter another. We had to threaten a law suit to get them to refund us money for faulty concrete. Today we had a contractor try to fix faulty concrete around the pool and discovered that the electrical conduit for the pool cover was only 1 1/2 to 3 inches below the surface of the concrete. This is a major code violation!!! The code requires 18" below the surface. When we called Blue Mountain Pools to cover cost of repair to reroute the electrical conduit - they denied responsibility.

We recently moved into a home that had a zero clearance wood-burning fireplace that was so small,…read moreit rendered it pretty useless. Since we knew we had a gas line running to our house, we decided to shop for a small, linear gas fireplace for the space. After visiting and pricing units at a number of different fireplace stores in and around Vancouver, we decided on a reasonably priced Enviro model that we found at Haven Spa Pool & Hearth on 9/19/20. We met with Kirk Neil who looked at our photos and the dimensions we had in hand, and walked us through our options based on our budget and our needs. At no time did he try to up-sale us which we appreciated. He then told us all about the unit we decided upon, answering all our questions. At that point, Kirk gave us a written estimate and we put down a very small deposit to have someone come to our home to get actual measurements, etc. We left the store feeling great about our choice, as well as the pricing for the unit and estimate for installation. Imagine my surprise and delight when the owner himself, Stephan, was the person who came to my home! Following that visit, pricing was confirmed and the date for installation, 10/26/29, was agreed upon. Installation day arrived and the Haven crew was here at their scheduled time. The installation of the unit was seamless from beginning to end. They were not only professional, but their attention to detail from running the gas line to framing out the area for the unit, was excellent. A few days following the install, I had a question about outside air that I was feeling around the unit. I called Haven, and within a couple of days, once again the owner, Stephan, came out to assess my concern. It was a minor issue which he himself resolved. (The fireplace tile and mantel were completed 11/28/20, by Jared of J. Tanner Tile & Stone, also a conscientious contractor who did an excellent job.) Although our room is still a work in progress, the Enviro fireplace gives us the hominess and added warmth that we were hoping for. If you're in the market for any type of fireplace and want to purchase it from a business that is involved from beginning to end, with great customer service and response times, I highly recommend Haven Spa Pool & Hearth.

I stopped in for some supplies since I was in the neighborhood. The staff was friendly and…read moreattentive, but their lack of knowledge lead to them giving me completely incorrect information and selling me items that were not what I asked for (the employee told me an item was "the same" as what I asked for, and I foolishly didn't read the label until after I got home, and this is what showed that the "same thing" as what I asked for was absolutely NOT). The store is clean, and they carry a large selection of hot tubs. There is plenty of parking in their own private lot.

Started out great . . . We decided our house and our old arthritic selves needed a hot tub. So we…read moredid some shopping. Found an amazing deal at Classic but that has been the only amazing part of this. After finally getting the pad put down and electric run to the tub we were set to fill it and enjoy. Nope Fire it up, test water, adjust the chemistry only to have it shut off and throw error codes. Fine, call and get service out to see what's up. Gent who came out was super knowledgeable and thorough in going through everything to be sure what was wrong. This is where I am now stuck and angry. The main pump is seized from rust. Rust from where? Sitting in the showroom for 2 yrs. That would not be a big deal IF I was not now being asked to buy the new pump for $670.00. Why? It's not under warranty after 2 yrs. From the get go we were lied to. Told we were getting a discount because my partner is a Vet. Wrong, it was to move an old floor model. We were told it had a custom top. Another lie, the top we were given is two+ inches too big all the way around. I was told by service that someone was supposed to show us how to do chemistry for it, never happened or spoken about. Now I am sitting here with a tub that does not work, expected to pay for a new pump or have a useless hot tub. I don't care about buying a floor model. If they would have said it was a 2+yr old floor model I would have said test it first or deeper discount. What really makes it all worse is the lies. It's a crap business conduct, it results in customers that go elsewhere not 'customers for life' like their site says. I will update if/when I get resolution. UPDATE: pump is ordered on the shops dime. Just waiting for it to show up. Cover supposedly has been ordered to replace the one that is way too big. Still not a hot tub yet but working that way. Really thinking I am going to find some place else to service when this is all done.

I needed a set of filters for my ThermoSpa hot tub at the last minute…read more I was thankful for the quality of the filters that they had but the price was steep and the chemicals were a lot more expensive than their online competition has the same thing for. They came to our home and gave us a bid for a fireplace insert and they were again over priced.
