I stopped in for some supplies since I was in the neighborhood. The staff was friendly and attentive, but their lack of knowledge lead to them giving me completely incorrect information and selling me items that were not what I asked for (the employee told me an item was "the same" as what I asked for, and I foolishly didn't read the label until after I got home, and this is what showed that the "same thing" as what I asked for was absolutely NOT). The store is clean, and they carry a large selection of hot tubs. There is plenty of parking in their own private lot. read more

We bought a 17k hot tub in 2021 and the brackets for the cover that costed 500$ to install malfunctioned. I called several months ago to let the company know and how to proceed. They recommended taking pictures of the broken brackets for the hot-tub and send them into a separate company that handles the bar/cover installation. After several tries and emails to that company, I decided today that I would just take the in the broken brackets and buy new ones. They charged me over $100.00 for a pair of dirty used brackets and I actually had to ask about a manufacturer warranty- they were not empathetic nor looking to maintain any sort of customer service after spending 17k on a hot-tub. I am surprised by how low customer service has been but to offer no support or any discounts on something hat has a warranty for something so inexpensive was mind blowing- I recommend that if you are in the market for a hot-tub try somewhere else as their customer service after you spend a lot of money is terrible- not sure how they stay in business. read more

After someone comes to your home to assess, they say they'll go back to the office and let your home warranty provider know what needs to be done. 3 months later, you have to call to ask what is even going on. Services front desk is useless, they say so themselves, "I just schedule, I don't see the notes." They claim someone will call you back, they never do. You have to call back every week, only to be told someone will get back to you. You're transferred to the manager's voicemail who also never calls you back. Finally, you call again with less patience only to get a rude employee having a bad no good day tell you all claims are closed, despite the fact you told someone the week before that one claim was closed, but not the one from 3 month ago. You're interrupted and told you're wrong. You call your warranty provider, they tell you Haven lied to them, apparently you closed all claims. An interesting assertion when you're the one that has been calling every week to ask when your spa will be fixed. No accountability, straight up lie, are rude/interrupt, and won't listen to the customer. Never doing business again. read more

I recently wrote a review where I expressed my discontent with the fact I was told if i bought a spa. I would have no trouble with service. I then discovered I would not receive service after my purchase because of where I lived. I got a call from a genuinely concerned sales person named Cheyenne who I called the wrong name in my first review. We recently moved into a home that had a zero clearance wood-burning fireplace that was so small, it rendered it pretty useless. Since we knew we had a gas line running to our house, we decided to shop for a small, linear gas fireplace for the space. After visiting and pricing units at a number of different fireplace stores in and around Vancouver, we decided on a reasonably priced Enviro model that we found at Haven Spa Pool & Hearth on 9/19/20. We met with Kirk Neil who looked at our photos and the dimensions we had in hand, and walked us through our options based on our budget and our needs. At no time did he try to up-sale us which we appreciated. He then told us all about the unit we decided upon, answering all our questions. At that point, Kirk gave us a written estimate and we put down a very small deposit to have someone come to our home to get actual measurements, etc. We left the store feeling great about our choice, as well as the pricing for the unit and estimate for installation. Imagine my surprise and delight when the owner himself, Stephan, was the person who came to my home! Following that visit, pricing was confirmed and the date for installation, 10/26/29, was agreed upon. Installation day arrived and the Haven crew was here at their scheduled time. The installation of the unit was seamless from beginning to end. They were not only professional, but their attention to detail from running the gas line to framing out the area for the unit, was excellent. A few days following the install, I had a question about outside air that I was feeling around the unit. I called Haven, and within a couple of days, once again the owner, Stephan, came out to assess my concern. It was a minor issue which he himself resolved. (The fireplace tile and mantel were completed 11/28/20, by Jared of J. Tanner Tile & Stone, also a conscientious contractor who did an excellent job.) Although our room is still a work in progress, the Enviro fireplace gives us the hominess and added warmth that we were hoping for. We purchased a hot tub from these guys. My husband and I had a great experience from the very first phone call. We went to the store and brought our dog who was welcome. We picked out the colors we wanted for the tub, got our chemicals, and even a free ice cream bar! We were offered to try out the spa that's out front. I didn't bring my suit so I declined. We were told the delivery would be 4-6 weeks and they are ahead of schedule. We get our tub delivered in 2 weeks from today which will be less then 6 weeks. Cheyenne (at the store) and Kelly (over the phone) have been super helpful. I did chat with two other staff members while being at the store and had fun talking about TV shows! Cheyenne made this process super easy and he has so much knowledge. He answered all my questions and didn't make me feel like a dum dum. We also stayed super close to our get! We've used Haven Spa Pool & Hearth since we relocated to this area back in 2020 and have been pleased with their initial service and the service at their store. Recently I noticed that one of the three water spouts was noticeable lower than the others so I called and arranged for someone to check it out. Tyler came out [we had seen him in 2020 too] and found that there were clogged filters. It turned out to be a pretty big job- he was here about 2.5 hours I believe- and he had to drain the hot tub but he got everything taken care of. These guys installed a fireplace insert for me. During the pandemic. I was very worried about covid safety and also really wanted comfort this winter. I chose this company after the owner did a site review and spec'd out my fireplace which was shallow. It was really obvious how professional they ran the business, and that they would be thoughtful about covid precautions. They brought in a hepa filter, were very polite and got everything done in one day even including the electrical work. They had the inspector scheduled for the next day when they left. My husband and I have used Haven Pool and Spa to service our pool equipment for the past three years. Great service! Most recently we replaced a booster pump and then decided to change form a cartridge to a sand filter of which we are very pleased. Kyle and Tyler know what they are doing and advise accordingly. They are professional, courteous and efficient. They clean up any packaging and/or garbage and haul it all away. Bought a CAL spa from them 5 years ago. Was told they had the best customer service in the area. We had a rotator valve blow 3 months ago. Called them and they said they were 4 weeks out for repair. I knew if I had the part I could screw it back in myself. Easy! They took my card and ordered the part. I waited weeks for the part. After getting back in touch with them they said, "That part was discontinued." No call back to let me know. No suggestions. I researched and found another part that would work and called them back to order that as my $ still hadn't been refunded of course. They said it would take another several weeks and wouldn't expedite the 3" small plastic part. I am certain they have no idea what excellent customer service is. This is a continuation of my original review posted on Aug. 5th and in replying Stephan(the owner and GM)'s comments on Aug. 11th. Now, Stephan, let's be honest, there are a lot false facts in your reply: #A: Kelly promised on July 15th she will ensure Jeff will be the technician coming out on Aug. 5th, so it's obviously a broken promise. #B: We'd 3 phone calls on Aug. 4th: 1) Ryan called me on 9:39am for 2 minutes 21 seconds informing me Tyler will come out instead, if I still want Jeff it will be another 3 weeks out. I asked him to check with Kelly and call back. 2)Kelly called back on 9:50am for 7 minutes 22 seconds, we'd discussion on the job, last question I asked is is my job too small or less important, or Jeff doesn't want to take the job, then Kelly erupted and refuse to service my hot tub as scheduled, and hang up on me. 3)I called Ryan on 9:59am for 4 minutes 49 seconds asking about how you would honor the 1-year part warranty since you refused to service my hot tub, Ryan checked with Kelly then coming back you still won't service my hot tub and also hang up on me. So total call time for all three calls are less than 15 minutes, and nobody told me I'm holding the lines, I still have record of all phone calls in case you still want to mislead people. #C: You called me twice on Aug. 5th trying to smooth things out, and asked me to remove some comments such as mentally fragile etc which I did remove as a favor and gesture to your trying effort. Let's get facts straight and leave the mis-information out. I thought you're an honorable person through your two calls on Aug. 5th, but I could be totally wrong again here, just like my two totally different experiences with Kelly. Buyers be aware, please double check who's your technician before hiring this company, unlike family owned company, their service quality is very inconsistent depends on who the technician is. read more

Upon recommendation from NW Natural that I have a thorough cleaning of my gas fireplace, I called Haven. I was aware that the service provider would arrive between 9 and 11:00, and Shawn notified me when he was on his way to my house along with the time he would likely arrive. . .he was there right on time. I was impressed with both his professionalism and his workmanship. He explained what he was doing in a way that was clear and understandable. He worked quickly and thoroughly. My fireplace sparkled when he was finished and I was very happy with his work. He even gave me some tips on how to keep the unit maintained myself. We then purchased 2 wood stoves from them and had them installed, slight mess up with the schedule, nothing to bad, but over all nice work. The ice storm of 2021 fried out circuit board on our South Seas Spa. I was told Artesian wasn't making new boards for used tubs. I called Marty at Clackamas, sent her pics of our board and she said bring it in. I was soo excited that her service department FIXED out board. My husband is so dependent on our tub. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Will require a cc for them to warranty your hot tub. The supervisor that scheduled the appts. Will argue and be very rude and will talk down to you requiring a CC. But when I take my car in for warranty or anything else under warranty they do not require a cc. Hmmm We have had nothing but problems with them trying to avoid or push appts out to make it so it would be past our warranty date. read more

I bought a pellet stove from haven 3 years ago and had them do all service on my stove . I was having trouble with the stove called them and in a period of a week or so they sent two great service techs Kirk and Dustin they where great and did every thing possible to fix my stove and they where not having any luck and I was getting aggravated but to my total surprise I get a call from the service department apologize for my stove problem and if i would be home this afternoon they will be bringing a NEW STOVE at no cost to me !!! I have been a customer of Haven's for a few years now after they did such a great job of installing a pellet stove we purchased from them. We just recently purchased a spa from them during the Oregon State Fair show. The whole process was handled very well, Jason and all the office staff were great keeping us informed and scheduling everything. On the day of the delivery I received a call from Rick letting me know they were in route and they arrived as scheduled. Rick and Kyle did a great job in the placement and installation, making sure not to damage anything and cleaned up when finished. We just purchased a new Grand Bahama hot tub from Haven Spa, Pool, and Hearth. We shopped around for a long time looking at different ones. We had previously purchased the last two at Oregon Hot Tub but the sales people were not that helpful and the quality didn't seem as good. This has stainless steel jets (not plastic) and even has a shoulder jet. The sales people were very knowledgable and we worked with Cassidy. She really knows about the product! I recommend talking to her if you are going to purchase one. Skyler, Steph, and Tyler delivered it today. They were top knotch!!!! Extremely professional and answered all of our questions.
