So! I wanted a new bed with storage, spent two days on line trying to find a new pedestal bed with storage. Most of the beds I could find were made of pressed wood products and took great lengths to hide the fact in there descriptions. The few made of hard or soft woods were much higher priced and most took 8 to 10 hours to put together, often with two people. Well Medford Mattress had exactly what I wanted at a great price with many options AND they would deliver and set up for $25. Most of the on line beds estimated 3 to 8 week delivery, Medford Mattress delivered 8 days after I ordered the bed. Matt & Brandon made short business of pulling apart my older bed and installing my new one all done with a great attitude and smile. I bought a mattress didn't like it and thought we are getting a better one cuz we had to pay more money for it and for the delivery charge but then on their website it says 120 day satisfaction guarantee and then it also says free delivery locally might I add I live two blocks away from them and now they won't take their s*** back I'm going to go pick it out there with the guy that has no teeth that holds Medford Mattress sign motherfukers! Approximately 6 years we buy a mattress here that they recommended to us because we had previously had problems with one that indented badly. So we follow their advice and make our purchase. Mind you I am a big guy and so my weight definitely impacts the mattress. This mattress starts to get dips in it so we call and they come out and measure it. The guys that show up comment that , oh yes we definitely have a problem. But after a week of waiting my wife calls them to find out whats going on and they respond with, oh it needs to get worse before we will do anything. So we go to the business to talk to them about it. I notice the one salesperson roll his eyes at the other one the minute the conversation starts. Then the salesperson just wants to argue the issue. Point, counterpoint rather than suggest options or ideas. Then the kicker , the phone rings and the other guy answers it and walks up and interrupts our conversation and hands the phone to the guy we were talking to. Now, my feelings are that I'm standing in your store to do business with you but you ignore me to take the call. At that point I walked out. Now it has been a week and I would have thought that someone might pickup a phone and call and apologize, possibly resolve our situation in regards to the fact that our mattress has become a pain in the back. But they dont seem to want to worry about customers after the fact. Maybe our valley is big enough now that businesses can just count on the sheer number of people coming through the door and not provide true customer service!!!!!!! My husband and I wanted to upgrade our old Queen mattress. We really wanted a King but didn't think we could afford it. Medford mattress was so nice and did not pressure us on sales. We have two small children (ages 1 and 3) so it's hard to shop for a big purchase. They were so nice, helpful and understanding that we needed extra time to talk about which mattress we wanted in between entertaining our children. On July 31, 2020 I purchased a Serta Mattress on sale for $819.00 from Adam at Medford Mattress. Six weeks later it arrived and it had a huge lump on one side. I tried sleeping on it for a couple of weeks. It was awful. I called Adam and a week later he sent someone over to measure it. There was not a level spot and was off up to 1 1/2 inches. Again, I waited for Adam to call. Finally, I called him. He said he would send a new mattress but it would take 6 weeks. I told him I could not wait that long. He said he had another mattress I could have, but no warranty. I said OK - I was desperate. The mattress arrived with no paperwork at all. I have no idea who made it, what kind, how much it cost? Medford Mattress has been very helpful as we had purchased a Simmons mattress from another dealer locally that went out of business. This was in October 2007 we have had a few concerns with the mattress as it had body intentions we contacted Simmons and within a couple of days after submitting the photos they asked for of our concerns. They contacted us back with, great news that they were going to replace our mattress. We are very happy since our warranty only had a month before it expired and they were replacing it total purchased value. After delivery of mattress set, we discovered it was not the name brand we purchased in the Medford Mattress Store from salesman Adam Angel. We were told upon our call (to ask them to take it back and give us a refund), it was a generic mattress with no name brand labels. AND THEY DO NOT GIVE REFUNDS. We were not allowed to leave a voice mail for the owner at the Medford store or their second store located in Grants Pass, where we were told the owner would be. They told us each time we called to try the other store. This company advertises on tv that they treat their customers as family. When an error like this is made, and you as a consumer are not allowed to speak with the owner, you lose all trust in their business practices and ethics. We offered to bring the mattress back ourselves or they could send their delivery van to pick it up. The mattress is still wrapped in original plastic, the bedframe unopened in original box. We called all other mattress stores in Medford and learned a fair restocking fee is $50 to $75. We gladly offered to pay. We have written the Better Business Bureau and the Consumer Complaint Advocacy Center. We are awaiting a solution. There has been no PHONE CALL from the owner Rod of Medford Mattress IN A MONTH. We had planned to buy a second mattress set from them before this happened. Instead we went to Sleep Train in Medford. They allow you to SLEEP on your new mattress 100 days, and if you need to return it, you are given your money back. We recommend Sleep Train. And good to know...they deliver the name brand mattress you purchased, with THE BRAND NAME LABEL. Our next review is to Angies List, and then we will be telling everyone we know, and ask them to WARN ALL OF THEIR FAMILY AND FRIENDS. We have lived here since 1962. Equals a lot of free word of mouth advertising.....WORTH way more than the price the mattress set. read more

SUPERIOR-PLEASE HELP KEEP THIS LOCAL PLACE IN BUSINESS!! I had spoke with Adam Angel over the phone, a few days later made it into the store to find a perfect bed for me. I had bought my current bed over 9 years ago, experienced awful typical "salesman" experience at another mattress place in Medford Oregon, got completely talked out of the bed I went in very interested in due to the pushy salesman at Mattress Land next to Boot Barn, and have been very unsatisfied with that bed ever since, and as of the past year or so have been waking up with severe lower back and neck pain. I walked into Medford Matress, was met with complete ease and knowledge by Adam Angel. He was very knowledgeable, and more importantly very honest with his experiences and recommendations. He was SO FAR from that pushy person just wanting to make the commission on the sale. He made me feel so very relaxed, and confident, and completely comfortable to spend the few hours that I did in the store trying my best to genuinely shop for what would help me the best, and last the longest. It's been quite a long time since I've found a "salesman" that was so comfortable and clearly had a genuine desire to help, not just put me into what would be best for himself or the company. I would highly recommend that anyone in or the surrounding local areas to please have confidence in shopping here! We purchased a memory foam style mattress from Medford Mattress recently. After purchasing and trying the mattress out for comfort (for 30 days!), we decided that it was just too firm of a mattress for our liking. We went to visit Wes, a store associate at their Front Street store, and he offered to let us pick out a new mattress, deliver it, and pick up the old mattress (there would be a $90 restocking fee but hey, lots of overhead in the mattress business I'm sure). Wes has been extremely helpful for us throughout the whole process and is a very genuine salesman; someone that you feel like you can trust right off the bat. Wes was understanding of our situation and helped to find us a better bed or another solution. As a easy alternative to having to pull the mattress our of our house, he offered to let us take home a memory foam mattress topper for a night or two with no questions and it ended up being the solution for us. He also offered to work with us on the price of the topper as he did with the bed. I love finding businesses like Medford Mattress, I would HIGHLY recommend them. read more

I told him my price range and he showed me a few mattresses I might like, then gave me some space to try them out. I was surprised at their extensive selection of really quality beds for any budget. Called me before delivery and asked me if were ok if there were blemishes on my brand new bed. Delivery drivers were 2 hours late making me late for a job interview then they refused to take my old bed after they said they would. I am only interested in helping people to not be left hurt as we were. We went to mattress experts in gp a part of Medford mattress. We selected a mattress the only gold colored mattress in the store . Long story short. They brought us a white one so hard I can't sleep on it. We were busy and did not notice until that eve. I called and left a message. The next day I waited for a call that never came. So with no place to sleep.i called them . The manager said the owner may be in this wk for a few minutes. Also said no refund will be allowed. I went to the store where I bought the gold bed with tags. And it was gone. The bed I bought also had a crushed corner but I was told I was getting a great price on it the white bed I got had no such thing on it. Three days later I called Medford and recognised rods voice when they answered. Since they advertise customer care I thought good things would now happen..wrong... he was rude worse than the manager I spoke with. He said I got what I ordered and that was that. I tried to explain how the sales person and I had talked about matching the gold mattress with a base. He cut me off and said I got what I ordered. Wow I will never again give them a dollar nor will anyone I know. It goes to show you people that brag about great service may be talking out of both sides of there mouth. It's a shame we are stuck with a bed we can't sleep on and at this time have no bed as they took our old one I would love to have back.
