There is plenty of parking spots and good to see no non sense going on in the parking lot. We have been to a few skate parks where there were shenanigans going on in the parking lot. We stopped because I used to skate and it cool to watch the different levels of skaters having a great time. I'm 56 now and no more skating, I do have a super cool RC truck that I normally bring to the parks, I didn't have it with me on this trip. It was good to see skateboarders , bike riders and scooter riders all having a good time together. Sometimes the younger scooter riders get a hard time from the older kids. We sat in the shade for about an hour and watched tricks being practiced and tricks being pulled off, it brought back a lot of great memories. It was a surprise to see that not everyone had a helmet on, I know it saved my head more than a few times. Side note, just as we were leaving the police pulled up in the parking lot just to do a walk around. The park is dog friendly and ample street parking is available.

Other playgrounds in the area seemed sketchy so we found this one and gave it a try. We were pleasantly surprised by how clean and well maintained it was. The playground is amazing and has so many different components to keep the kids occupied. FYI there is a $5 park fee and it's cash only. They should probably make the system an electronic system since many people don't carry cash anymore.

Awesome disc golf course. 18 holes, variety of terrain. Some short, some really long. Some through…read moreand around trees, some over ridges and ravines. I played early July and almost all of the streams and ponds were dried up, but come spring, I could see this adding an extra layer of difficulty to this already extremely challenging course. All holes are very well marked and offer two tee boxes and two or 3 hole placements. Hole 13 in particular was the longest and the pin placement wasn't on the sign, it must have been an extra 250' past the long pin. There is an old dam/bridge/wall that has a bunch of cool graffiti on it adding to the ambiance of the course. Nice flowing river on the south end of the park. Overshoot 18 and your disc could roll down into the water and be toast! Costs $5 for a day pass, well worth the price of admission!

We came for a picnic in the day use area…read more It's a lovely savanna setting with oaks and tall pines and open fields and many birds. There are several shelters with many picnic tables and some outside the shelters also. The picnic areas are clean, with trash picked up, and there are toilets and plentiful parking, not a little in the shade. If I lived near here, I'd be a regular.

It was my first time to this park as my friend invited me and they didn't pass on the message that…read morethis was a paid park so I didn't have enough cash. Well, they apparently do not have the same lenient rules for online payment when it comes to people of darker skin color because as I had my friend on the phone, who, of course you guessed it does not have darker skin color. She told me on the phone, which the guy could hear in an ear shots because she was on speakerphone that she was let through without paying and he had her take a picture of the online payment for code for her to do it that way. I proceeded to tell him exactly what she's telling me and he's acting confused. He never showed me this paper clip or or acknowledges the fact that you could pay online at all. I tell him I need to go cause they're actually leaving soon, so can I just go and I will do the payment some other way, he continues to act weird and confused and like cash is the only way or or else he's not gonna let me go through. Then he says oh the rangers are gonna be stopping by, blah blah. so to end this so that it doesn't turn into me sitting there for 10-30 minutes. I had to tell him my plans to go there quickly and come back because I can't be here all day. They're gonna leave soon. I get to my friends and tell them this story and they confirmed that this is a very odd interaction and clearly probably has a lot to do with discrimination/ the way that I look. To add to this a very angry looking female Park Ranger was staring like somebody had just spit in her Cheerios like she was ready to fight someone maybe the only person of color at the park over six dollars...? You need to do better. This is ridiculous behavior in 2026 especially. They're lucky I probably can't sue for this stupid interaction. Only adding a star because it is a nice park/play area.

This place has everything kids could want and would be a 5 if parents actually paid attention to…read moretheir children. I don't know how many times kids have been throwing things around or gotten hurt with no patents in sight. Then when you actually find them, they just seem bothered that you're interrupting them while they're smoking or messing with their phones. If your kid is too young to know your phone number, they're too young to be roaming a park alone. Other than that, the park has fun equipment, lots of space, and is generally clean.

There is no curb so no reason to think it wasn't where I pull in. It has you go through the middle of the playground. It isn't labeled but based on all the odd and pissed off looks I got I'm pretty sure it's not for driving.
