They care until they don't…read more I had such an awful experience that 7 months later it's still bothering me enough to come rate it on yelp. I had only done one on Google. People should know. It wasn't about the ID, it was how I was treated. It had all been fake. Please read the following review I posted on Google 7 months ago.: This is critical information to know about who you are giving money to. Below are the facts. But TLDR, even if it feels friendly and like your second home for years, when faced with an opportunity to return loyalty, the manager, Richard, won't. But, most importantly, he won't be even remotely warm about it. And you may very well walk away feeling belittled and insignificant and a little taken advantage of. You may feel condescended to and if you're a woman you might question what a woman might question. But you will absolutely feel disposable. The day of the incident, I wrote the following statement of facts: I've been a regular loyal customer of my dispensary for 3 years. I've spent a lot of money at my dispensary over the last 3 years. The staff, especially the security officer recognize me when I walk in. My visit prior to this visit I had forgotten my identification but the door attendant was understanding and let me tell him my drivers license number and show him my debit card with my name on it as a one time exception since they did know me. (See below note.) Today's visit to the dispensary started the same as all of my other visits until I encountered Richard, the lobby attendant and manager of the dispensary. I realized I hadn't put my ID back in my purse and explained to him that I didn't have ID, but I did know the number and could show him my big stack of cards with my name on them. And that they were able to do it as an exception before by looking it up. Richard's response was to tell me he couldn't make an exception because an exception had already been made. I pleaded with him to please give me an exception and that I swore it wouldn't happen again. When I asked for a second he replied that they had already. I attempted to reason with Richard that it was obvious who I was. He stated that "you have to have ID to go places." I replied that I understood that he has discretion and authority to make exceptions and that I was a regular who has spent quite a lot of money over the years at his dispensary. He reaffirmed his decision, speaking detached, unaffected, and unsympathetic. I left, telling him I wouldn't be back. (I did have to come back with my ID because I didn't have time to find a different dispensary in the time I had available. Richard was not present when I returned. On my way out, I told the security officer that I really appreciated him and how kind he had been to me over the years and to please let his manager know that I understood his authority and that I was a writer who would be writing letters and reviews.) This review is cross posted across platforms. Note: In hindsight I recall the original person who helped me had me pull up a photo of my ID on my phone. I didn't remember that at the time of the incident today, but Richard did not offer any solutions to help me.

The building looked cool from the outside, lots of activity in this strip mall, and the security guard was genuinely friendly. After checking my ID, he asked if it was my first visit. I told him it was. I'm not really a smoker I was just shopping for a friend. Once inside, the experience completely changed. I was obviously lost, looking around like a dumbass trying to figure out what I needed, yet 2 employees walked right past me without offering help. When I finally flagged down an employee to ask about deals he pointed with an attitude to a small plastic sign instead of simply answering my question. My friend wanted Blue Dream, which was advertised at 40% off, so I grabbed two. At checkout, things got worse. I mentioned the first-time customer discount the security guard had told me about. Instead of checking, the employee insisted that "it's not your first time by a long shot. You've been here at least 10 times." We argued for a minute before he realized he'd pulled up someone else's profile. Then gave me a half-assed apology while looking in a completely different direction. He then got all funny about giving me a first-time discount because the items I bought were on sale. Which he DID NOT give me. Which is fine if that's the policy. My issue wasn't the discount it was being treated like I was lying. I walked out paying about what I would have paid elsewhere, but with a much worse experience. This brother couldn't see five minutes ahead of himself. He lost what could have been a consistent customer for about $15. I can tell he is not the owner. He is just a stingy employee. The security guard was great. Everyone else made sure my first and LAST visit would be exactly that. I'd rather spend my money at a dispensary with better customer service, even if it costs more. I guarantee you even with this excellent location the staff is going to run this place out of business. I would have to be desperate to go back into this place. But luckily there are tons of shop around with better reviews.
