I love this place. Dr. Yates and Dr. Lee are amazing. I had an emergency right before a holiday and they took care of it and that's why this is my new permanent dental office. Everyone here is very professional. Not only that they invest in the latest equipment. They have all sorts of tools to take care of you that other Dentist don't have it at all. I am glad that they invest in all this. I mean since it is a business expense, it is great to see that they care enough to get this type of equipment to make sure that they are taking good care of you. I highly recommend this office. The location is a little weird as you enter from the back, but it is really a great place and is definitely a place that I would recommend highly. I was impressed from the first step into their office. I was greeted promptly and nicely. All the paperwork was completed online from their text message with link. Loved not having to sit there and fill out tons of papers on the clipboard. They have Dr. Lee...the best, and Dr. Yates...another best. I've worked mostly with Dr. Lee and she is just charming. She is a class-act doctor with great credentials and she is on-going and actively continuing her expertise! My hygienist was so gentle, thorough and personable. That means a lot that the staff has personality...you get the feeling that the crew/staff there are happy to be at work there. Just yesterday, I had 2 extractions. It was 5 hours of surgery without breaks except I had to use the restroom and more lidocaine. This wasn't an easy extraction. After years of grinding, youthful neglect, COVID and now aging, I was/am a dental mess! I was in a big panic over the pain that was to follow during and after the extractions. I wanted to be knocked out, but decided to be a big boi and just go local anesthetic. No lie, REALLY...there was absolutely none during or after. I took a precautionary pain med for sleep, and woke up like I never had a procedure done! Nothing, except some tenderness on my jawline if touched...so hands off! (lol) I am sticking with Media Center Dental, Drs. Lee & Yates and their whole crew! I qualified for their credit plan, and I'm set to go off in the sunset with the loveliest teeth I've ever had. So excited!!! So far, I've recommended my daughter try them, and she loves them after her experience. My son is very next! A healthy dental family is a happy one...lol! I have been looking for a new dental office since I had several negative experiences with Empire Dental Group in Burbank in the last couple years. I wasn't hopeful I would find a good dentist, but I decided to try out Media Center Dental after reading all the great reviews. The first thing I noticed was my husband & I were seen in less than 10-15 minutes, which I really appreciated (I would wait as long as 45min before being seen at Empire Dental Group). The staff were so friendly, made sure to introduce themselves & explained everything they were doing in detail. My husband and I need dental work done including crowns, cavity fillings & wisdom teeth extraction & the front office staff were so great at explaining what our insurance covers & what we will need to pay out of pocket. I explained to Natalie (the hygienist) that I have very sensitive teeth & she was very careful not to go too far with cleaning tools. Dr. Yates was also great with being thorough during his examination & was very honest about what work I would need. I would like to tell you, "This morning, I was touched, probed and xrayed in an alien abduction... However, that would be a mega fib, because I actually drove to the dentist office for an appointment." Every experience these days are somehow tied to the pandemic. I hate it, I really do. Covid19 changed a routine process. The teeth cleaning checkup was manual, "UmmhhHHH, hello... You could have told me like prior to my appointment. How to runaway when reclined and bibbed with sharp dental piks coming at my mouth... Pffft!". Covid19 Regulations forces me to polish my own teeth. The hygienist explained the steps completely and gave me a self-polishing care package. The little paper baggy was filed with iconic dental brandnames, which completely impressed me. I wasn't upset about the noises from manual the teeth tartars scraping anymore. The routine xrays took long but was mandatory. The assistant was allowed to use modern technologies too. Then, my checkup with Dr. Charles Yates went well. They played billboard dance music for me in one room. And let me watch Carnival Eats in another room. Both during procedures. This allowed for two hours to fly by. The whole staff was knowledgeable, caring and friendly to make it a excellent dental experience. My checkin and checkout process was methodological. I think the staff is still getting use to the new routines. It was awkward but the proper precautionary steps were taken. There was a machine they still have use on me that is pending an official procedural clearance. So another follow up is in the works. I was given a tentative appointment and unexpected discount for this office visit. It shocked me. That was very kind of Media Center Dental. read more

He literally saved my son's tooth, has filled my 8 year old's cavities with care and efficiency, yet most recently took care of my cracked filling, which could've ended up in a crown, but he worked his magic and was able to fill. I can't believe I'm saying this ... but I actually like going to the dentist now?! Media Center Dental is the best of the best. From the minute you walk in and are greeted by the staff to the minute you walk out of the office with a goody bag (!!) you know you're in good hands. Michelle has been my dental hygienist for the past few visits and I truly enjoy my time in the chair with her. This morning she gave me a blanket to snuggle under while she cleaned my teeth. She always remembers personal details about my life (which is extra impressive given how many people she sees between my routine cleanings) and makes sure that I understand what is going well -- and what needs work *cough cough flossing* -- with my dental care routine. It's clear that she's experienced and knows what she's doing, and she's also a lovely and kind person. I actively try and schedule cleanings with her. The dentists are also incredibly professional and efficient. They answer any questions I have and walk me through exactly what they're thinking and seeing. I never feel confused or worried or uninformed. I always leave smiling -- which is great, because that's when my teeth are in their prime. I am so afraid of dentists. There, I said it. Leave me alone - and also stay with me :) My anxiety is pretty bad about flying, drowning, dieing and dentist work. And the dark. And the empty woods. And blood (yours, not mine). Anyway Dr. Nancy Lee is the only reason I can handle dentists. I went 12 years without insurance and eat candy like every day is Halloween so you know I had some troubles when I first came here. When you get a job as a kid you get used to spending your money how you want. Then you grow up and realize "how you want" was not a good way to turn into an adult. But candy still tastes good. Nancy and the whole team here listened to my fears, explained everything at every step of the way and gave me some gas. Cavaties, deep cleaning and a couple root canals, oh my! I even had to deal with the worst pain of my life... an exposed root. What a mouthful! Worse than 6 ACL tears. Worse than a partial hamstring tear. Worse than concussion. Now I am comfortable enough that I don't even need the gas!!! I just need to keep coming!!! I'm not yelling, I'm excited!!! How do you tell someone you love your dentist!!! I recommend this place to all of my friends (and a good handful are here). I'm not saying I love dental work. Sheesh! I just hold on tight and breath slow. I could pass out from that drill sound. Love Dr Lee personally. Really loved and trusted this place for 2 years, they helped me with cleanings, fillings, etc. Dr Lee even helped me in a dental emergency for an impacted tooth. It was only until I had my wisdom teeth removed that things turned really bad. The surgery was optional in the first place but I was encouraged to do it. First red flag was that the surgeon at the time kept calling other surgeons to ask for advice on what to do (this was not Dr Lee). Nerves to a large portion of my tongue were severed. 2 years later and I still have permanently lost all sensation to that part of my mouth. I literally have phantom tongue pains lol. I even had a lisp for a while because of the nerve damage. I had to learn to talk again. I also had to learn how to not bite my own tongue, which I still do to this day. I often can't tell when my tongue has been bitten until it is bleeding and I taste the blood with the OTHER half of my tongue. The cost of the surgery was never refunded. I never sued because like them all as people and didn't know what to do. This whole experience was so sad! Great people but I will never be returning. read more

Dr. Bogosian was awesome and great about making recommendations for products to use for better oral care after I asked what more I could be doing to take better care of my teeth. My previous dentist messed up my teeth and after the surgery I was in a level 10 pain for a week! It hasn't even been 24 hours since my 3 hour surgery with Dr. Lee and I am at a level 3 pain!!! She is one of the most honest dentist I've encountered. I had root canals, crowns, cleanings and fillings done under her care. After I had a poor experience with another doctor in Santa Monica that lead to a crown breaking, I returned to Dr. Lee. My implant turned out amazing, looks and feels like a real tooth. Ive been to so many dentist and have had bad experience with most. My mom was in so much pain over The Weekend and I called at least 5 different dentist. They all opened late, didn't answered calls, didn't have room to fit her in. But I remembered I was recommended by a friend and he told me several times to come to Media Center Dental. Im glad I gave them a call. They were professional, nice and the ladies upfront desk were funny and the best experience I've had! The dentist was quick, very professional and I loved how they explained every step of the way and made us feel welcomed and safe. It was a little expensive paying out of pocket but with this experience it definitely made it worth it. They also speak Spanish for all my Spanish speakers. We don't have insurance but they do accept insurance. They do have parking. The dentist and staff were so amazing they made my day! :) read more
