I found this credit union on Google in order to find a better car loan rate than my dealership offered me with my excellent credit. I had never heard of this credit union before, even though I live in this community for over 20 years. To my surprise I heard back the same day of my loan pre-approval and then submitted further paperwork for full approval. This was done in 2 days and I appreciated the quick turnaround so much as I had a deadline and also so many other work deadlines. I'm grateful to Mike and appreciate the easy no hassle way of getting a loan. I went in and all the paperwork was done within 1 hours, received the check the same day, drove it to dealership the same day and got everything accomplished quick. My family and myself have been customers for well over 30 years I have trusted this business with my private information and my money in the past having them for a long period of time on my own as a customer- this is how they had access to my private information. Recently I inquired about loan rates and most lending firms will provide you estimates and rough figures with general information outside of putting a inquiry on credit and even if this was not the case lending firms will communicate with transparency and advise you of their process allowing you to make the determination as the customer with how you proceed. I was not informed at any point in time that they would need to do a full inquiry into my credit just to provide said figures. I would not have agreed to this and upon trying to resolve at the branch level due to their error and overall misconduct in using information provided by myself in the past on now closed business they refused to correct their error and conducted bad business by not connecting with transparency and has now operated in bad faith claiming they are unable to remove this inquiry which is not true. Know your rights and most importantly at this time steer entirely clear of doing business with Media City. read more

I love this place! It's a very small credit union with less than 10 employees that still has the original core value of people helping people. My family are all members here and they know us by name. Worst banking experience of my life. Followed by the worst customer service interaction of my life with their manager Ana. I had a personal line of credit for under a month. And just received a call about my "suspicious activities." Was told that my account is now shut down. Why? Because of a 10k line of credit. Was I in default? Was I late? No, the issue is that I made 10k worth of payments too promptly. Apparently Anna found it reasonable to call that "suspicious activities." She repeated the phrase three times in the first 30 seconds. Oh, and here's a fun one for any potential clients. She said the "normal" way people use loans is to pay the minimum payment each month. Read that again. It's literally the exact wrong way for anyone to ever use a loan. Unless your goal is to go broke. Such a waste of time. I have never been treated with such disrespect in a phone call. Makes me wonder if the same thing would happen to a guy named John Clark if he paid off his 10k loan balance promptly. I plan to make an official CFPB complaint about my experience at this credit union. read more

Upon my first initial visit to them, they prided themselves on being a small family type credit union where they love there members. - Long story short they treat there members terrible. In the event you need to speak with Jason in credit department prepare yourself for waiting numerous days and or weeks before ever hearing back from him, in the event that you even do. There is no leadership at this credit union. The attitude is "Who Cares"? I emailed the CEO, who is likely 1 of maybe 7 employees working there, never heard back. When you are trying to dispute a fee your charged incorrectly, everything has to filter down to one person - Jason. Mr. Jason sits in his office, never greets anyone coming in, and could care less about you or your business. I urge you to look else ware when considering a new credit union or bank. Have had such an awful experience with this bank. Was trying to buy a used car and the dealer supposedly works with them. I have called them multiple times during the week and only told I can leave a message for I guess the one guy who works in the loan department . Still haven't received a call back after 3 voicemails on three different days. Was told I had to wait 5 days for them to look over my paperwork. The moment I walk in, I am greeted by Candy, whose smile will make your day, or Carmen who will treat you not only as a valued customer, but also like a good long time friend.
