My loan rep Marina Koujamanian was simply magnificent ... She made what I thought would be a horribly annoying and difficult process of getting me a car loan into a easy breezy process .. Her personality is not only kind and super friendly but she is a total professional when it comes to navigating all that needs to be done to complete this tedious and many times frustrating process .. From my credit history ..to my employment status .to my specific car info Marina was on top of every aspect of the process ... She even called the Car Dealer Finance Manager for me a number of times to make sure he had all the info they needed for me to get the car... I have been a member for over twenty years and have always received excellent service but yesterday the credit union outdid itself. I had a problem making a deposit from an out of state location. Corey helped me on and off (because I had to keep disconnecting to find information) for over an hour. She called a credit union near to me in Pennsylvania, got instructions on how I could accomplish want I needed, called me back and gave me information. She then walked me through the process of setting up a deposit system so I will never have to worry about the lack of efficiency on the part of the post office again when I need to cover the cost of my long term care insurance. She also is sweet, respectful and has a great sense of humor. read more

I have been a TFCU member for over 20 years. I can't say enough about the Burbank branch. Everyone is so helpful and I'm alway greeted with a smile. In particular, Diane and Ophelia have been amazing. I had an issue with a payment towards a credit card that i had made in error. Diane and Ophelia were incredibly helpful, and were there to assist me every step of the way until its resolution. This is just one example of their amazing service. Since the place I used to go to stopped their shared branching, I knew I would have to find an alternative. Enter Technicolor, which is not only a few streets down and over from my old bank, but they're also super-friendly as well. Customer service at my former location started to slowly tank over time, so I really wasn't too upset on leaving them by the time they stopped their shared branching, so Technicolor has been a pleasant switch. I've had three different tellers, and they all have been really cool and helpful with my transactions. I hope they continue to do this program; it's great doing business with them. read more

I had a very pleasant experience at Technicolor Credit Union. Big shout out to Marina, Francis, Brianna and the rest of the staff. Special props for quickness of approval and an amazing interest rate. Unlike majority of banks, they go out of their way to make sure that the loan is right for the customer and that the member is not buying a car they can't pay for. They even check the Carfax to make sure there are no issues with the car. Having been shopping around, their approval was the best BY FAR. A little rough on the edges with finalizing the paperwork, but you'll definitely be in good hands with these guys. Highly recommending them to friends and family! read more

Had to physically go in there to set up my account, had to physically go in there to payoff the last $3 of a car loan because it accrued an additional day of interest while they processed my payout, had to physically go in there to close the account and the final straw...they sent me a check with the money from my closed account and the print on the check was so light and faded I could not deposit via my other bank's mobile app so now I will physically have to go into that bank. Would avoid this place in the future, online banking user experience is pretty weak too. UPDATE: 2 weeks later, still no title. Called and they "forgot to release the lien". Another month of insuring a second car, ugh! read more

I refinanced my Car with This credit union , it was great at first they were perfect Marina helped me get everything done with out going to the office , I also financed a Motorcycle with them and had bad luck that my husband was using my bike and a car hit him , to get straight to the point my insurance paid the value of the motorcycle they got the check what the remaining balance was like 800 I also got GAP with them cause it's cheaper then what the dealer offers , But some lady named Frances calls me saying the gap won't go through because my husband was on it not me , gap doesn't cover the person who's driving so why wouldn't it , the lady was very rude and she was talking to me very unprofessional and was not helpful at all Lady needs to be more professional with her work and learn how to talk to customers and help that's what she's here ! Marina calls me back and fixes the issue very nice lady !! I don't think I'll use this credit union to finance my new motorcycle Make sure u ask about gap when it comes to that because it may not cover the person who's driving ur car !!! Very disappointed at Frances attitude makes the company look bad ,if I can give 0 star I would !!!!!!!!!!!! They took out money out of my bank account and they had no reason too and then when I want the money they said they cant do it because of the person is not there for the rest of the week. My issue might not be with TCFCU, but I hold them partly responsible. I thought it would be easier to pay a bill online via my credit union. So, I signed up and paid whatever needed paying. All from my computer. what could be easier. I started noticing a fee for 5.95 each month. I didn't think much of it, but then i went back a few months and looked at how long i was being charged. Turns out once you sign up for bill pay you are charged 5.95, whether you use it or not. Total ripoff! Add to that, I don't remember reading anything about there being a monthly fee. You think their link to bill pay would say this is not a free service! Total ripoff!! read more

Amateurish institution. The short time we were there, experienced issue after issue. The list is far too long, but one instance on our wedding anniversary at the Hollywood Bowl (added fun, me in a wheelchair with a broken foot), due to a *glitch* in their system, we had NO access to our money, bankcards denied. No money for taxi, no money for dinner and wine in our box seats, nothing. I was in tears and we were embarrassed beyond belief. The way the chick handled it afterwards only made it worse. Horrible, horrible *bank*. Fast forward, getting our taxes done last night, find out the tax document from TCFU LIED about an IRA transaction, which would have cost us $8,000!!!!!!!!!! All's well, got the correct documentation from our WONDERFUL current banking institution... A big fat middle finger to this place. Ann S., apparently you got lucky. read more

I would give this bank zero stars. I deposited close to $2,000 into their new affiliate ATM. The machine took my money and then returned my card and terminated the deposit, my money was not returned. I went inside the bank and explained the situation. After an hour I was told that they see the problem but that I had to call my bank to deal with it. This is unacceptable. I was also told by Technicolor that I would hear from them once they spoke with my bank to let them know what was going on. They had all of Friday afternoon and all morning today to call me and let me know what is going on, so far I have heard nothing which shows a serious lack of urgency. Now my bank is telling me that it could take between 45 and 90 days to get my money back. This money was specifically for rent and bills which are due immediately, so waiting for 90 days doesn't do me any good and now I have to figure out how I am going to pay rent. This has been an absolute nightmare. Technicolor has my money, they know they have my money and they expect me to wait for up to three month due to whatever policy they have on their end. My rent is due, my bills are due, I am not working full time because of covid and now I have to just deal with their process. This is absolutely unacceptable. The amount of damage you guys are causing me is serious; the lack of an immediate resolution is completely unacceptable considering they caused the problem in the first place and this boils down to paying rent and having a place to live. I want this fixed by the 30th of this month and I know it won't be. The damage and stress you are causing is real and it is much more serious that how you are handling the situation. You should be ashamed. read more

After 15 years of banking with TCFCU I had a CD mature and went to roll it over. I have always in the past brought in a print out of what other banks both brick and mortar as well as on line were offering and they matched no problem. I came to find out last week this has all changed. I was directed to Eric Dosch the branch manager. I was treated with complete indifference as well as him having no interest in matching other banks rates. I got a better rate elsewhere and am off to greener pastures. read more

After financing my motorcycle, they called and asked if I wanted to move my auto loans over to them and offered SIGNIFICANTLY better rates, so much so that the money I saved on the two auto loas I moved over will more than pay for the motorcycle. Also did not seem to want to help with an equity line of credit. I was a member for decades and just don't understand. I will be completely honest. The credit union is really excellent. All of my experiences have not been what I have wanted them to be and half of the time I didn't get the desired answer to a loan request or a resolution to a problem that I want. But, in all fairness, each time the people I have dealt with have justified their decisions and reasoning behind their decisions. I have dealt with them all: Marina, Robert, Frances, Carmen, Taline, Rosanna and many more. All have been very professional. After worrying Marina to death, she doesn't always return my calls anymore; but, she is absolutely fabulous. They are very understanding and they do look at you and your circumstances, rather than the computer generated number. I expect to be with them for a long time and I would highly recommend this credit union to anyone. read more

I can't say enough great things about this place. I don't have the best credit by any means but yet Francis and Marina always comes through for me. I was able to refinance here at a MUCH better rate then what I initially had. Any time I have questions regarding finances Francis and Marina always gives me solid advice.
