My mom had appointment with Dr. yang at 2pm we arrived 8 minutes early the manager George would not let us in till 2 pm because of their lunch hour. Rude who who acted like he never saw us before. In the past receptionist lady wearing glasses was rude over the phone to me when asked about upcoming appointment with not even a thank you and hung up on me. Avoid this place! read more

I've been coming to Media District Chiropractic for more than 5 years now and they've always been professional and thorough. I usually see Dr. Williams, who is immensely skilled, knowledgeable, and offers relief through treatment and through exercises to do on your own time. He also specializes in sports medicine which has helped me out when I've hurt myself at the gym, cycling, or drumming. Dr. Riba has filled in when Dr. Williams has been on vacation and she's also very helpful and skilled. The staff is friendly, professional, and efficient! Dr. Robin Riba is the best. After back to back a car accident and self defense class accidents my neck has never been the same. It doesn't take much to cause it to seize up and cause issues. Every time it does Dr. Riba is always able to squeeze me in last minute and fix it instantly. I can't sing her praises enough. Her hands on adjustments are quick, effective, and everything I need with nothing I don't. Surely the best chiropractic and applied kinesiology experiences of my (very experienced chiropractic) life. Dr Riba is not only the kindest and gentlest woman you'll find... Nearly anywhere... But she 'fixed' my 5 year battle with car accident related back pain in just two or three visits. Seriously. She also diagnosed some issues that I was experiencing and treating with medications. She didn't take me off anything that was prescribed but she did show me how my body reacts to certain vitamins I had been told to take by a quack naturopath, and had been taking on and off for six years to no avail. With a quick test on her computer, she diagnosed several issues I was aware of but didn't know that had probably gotten worse (some things don't show up in blood work, and I'm not going to get an MRI or CAT scan for what I thought was just general exhaustion). She suggested a supplement ritual. Usually I am very wary of those. Like I said... Previous experience... Quack Naturopaths of the past. But I trust Dr Riba and the brand she carries is the most reputable on the market. My surgeon father, who believes in naturopathy to an extent but who is far more skeptical than I, said when he saw my pill bottles that this brand is known to be the best and that it sounded like a good plan. Absolute worst-case scenario, maybe they won't work for you or it's too subtle to notice a difference but they're so safe that you can even take most during pregnancy. And there's NO 70% markup on these. Amazon sells them for twice the price. It may be the only time that pricing something online did not lead to major wallet savings. That's the sign of a true healer. Dr. Riba and her staff are all about your care, and that's it. It's amazing. She also adjusted my dog after he'd fallen off his car seat when I stopped short one day for a crazy driver. He'd have been fine, I'm sure, but Dr Riba so amazingly offered to adjust him when I told her what had happened... And guess what? He got a tiny spinal adjustment, and we even did some kinesiology on him! He's got some extra pep in his duck-footed step now! I've referred four people here. The three that have seen her all called me and thanked me for the referral because they didn't know that chiropractic care could be this painless, this fairly priced, and this, well, wonderful. Once again, as has been recently my greatest streak ever with finding the right people to see for everything under the sun, you're not going to do better than Dr. Robin Riba. She's a gem and I cannot believe I found her. She's a keeper. read more

I recently sprained the muscles in my back, Dr riba lent me a muscle stimulator to help me recover and made me feel welcome even with my constant visits. Dr. Riba is amazing. She is extremely knowledgeable, informative and friendly. I was somewhat nervous as this was my first time getting an alignment, but Dr. Riba was comforting while talking me through the process. She gave me detailed insight on the different types of therapies and resolutions chiropractors use. As well as a detailed consultation of which muscle groups/vertebrae were the most tense by simple tests. I liked that she gave me tips on how to improve my back issues at home and while at work. After getting aligned I also received muscle electro therapy. I felt a little sore the following day but this was expected. My back and hip felt refreshed several days after :-) I would've given a five star rating however I'm taking one star away due to the front desk, specifically BLANCA. She wasn't polite, in fact she spoke to me in a VERY rude manner. I scheduled my following appointment and fingers crossed I'll be greeted by another receptionist. read more

I like Dr Reba, but I got a bad taste from my last visit and may stop going there altogether since they are now nickel and diming everything! I went in on Friday to review upper back x-rays with Dr Reba. The office staff not only charged my usual copay of $25, but they tagged on an extra $15 charge for the Dr to review my x-rays! I have never heard of this before. So when did doctors start charging to go over x-rays with patients?! This is both tacky and ridiculous. I am calling my insurance company tomorrow. And if this is illegal, which it should be, I will reverse the payment and report them to the California Department of Managed Healthcare. I'm surprised they don't charge for the bathroom yet! read more

Dr Williams is an awesome chiropractor. I went to him for a rotator cuff sprain and he really knew his stuff and got me on the road to recovery in 2 visits. By the 3rd visit we both expect that I will be good to go to start strength training again.
