This post is looooong overdue. I first met Steve when we purchased our first TV just over a year ago, which was to be installed in our living room. I initially was going to do business with a different company from the referral of a friend, but after that company lagged with a response, I searched yelp and found MediaVerge. The multiple/positive reviews and 5 star rating said it all, so I sent a request for a quote, and Steve responded right away. Steve was personable and professional from the get go. He was even willing to take off his shoes without me even asking! He listened to my ideal placement of our TV and was very precise with locating the EXACT middle of the wall of where our TV was going to be mounted (this actually occurred for both installs). I purchased a wall mount prior to Steve arriving, but he does have available mounts with him in the event there are placement issues (that's what occurred when we hired Steve for our 2nd install in our MB). He never attempts to upsell you with any of his products. He offers an honest, professional opinion that makes complete sense in the end. I was able to set up an appointment via phone call and then text. Steve came promptly on tims on the scheduled day, and then promptly began to work on installing my 65" LG 4k HDR tv on the wall, as well as running the HDMI cables through the wall and out behind a media stand for a super clean look. I went with his recommendation in regards to where to place the TV horizontally and vertically, and couldn't be happier with the results. Quick Update ya'll!! So Steve just left our house. The second visit was as awesome as the first visit. We wanted to mount 3 TVs in particular spots in each room, particular height . He shows up on a a rainy day (pouring cats and dogs), same positive vibe, same strong hand shake and had his tools ready to go. First he surveyed the TVs, the areas we wanted them to be installed to game plan. Discussed some details like, cabling, exact positioning. Again, he gave great visuals for the different positioning options using blue tape and his measurement tape. When he does that, it made it easier to make the call... higher on the wall vs lower. We had furniture in the way and he was able to work with it. He didn't need any help at all the whole time. It took Steve about 1 hour and 45 minutes to install 3 TVs. That time snapshot started when he rang the doorbell to when he left. I'd say that was quick! His work was efficient, super clean and he even wiped down all the TVs before he left. The price for his service and mounts that we paid for were more than reasonable. If you haven't called this guy up yet for a quote, stop reading this review and make the call. I found Steve on Craigslist, along with a couple of other TV Mount/Install providers. He responded, right away, in the evening and we continued our conversation the next day. He is straightforward in his rates and he is honest. He fit me into his schedule, during the same week, as he had an opening. I was a few minutes late to my requested appointment, and I felt bad. I hate being late to appointments and when people are late, however, he showed no dismay to my tardiness. We went inside and he gave me his professional advice on placing my TV on the wall, gave me options. I'm glad I took his personal/professional advice, as I had to leave for a personal event... Completely trustworthy and he trusted me to pay him via Venmo when he was done. I was not home when was done...he sent pictures of the completed job and the invoice... This is one of those moments where I realize how amazing and helpful Yelp can be. I found Steve through Yelp when I was looking for someone to help install 2 TVs in my new home with the wires hidden behind the walls. I reached out and Steve scheduled an appointment for the end of the week. What I was impressed by the most (more than ALL his 5 star reviews) was how prepared Steve is. Besides having all the gear needed, including tools, mounts for all TV sizes, extensions cords, HDMI cords, etc., he also had a 90-degree USB adaptor available (not knowing I would need it) for my Firestick. One of my TVs is much older and if he didn't have that available, the Firestick would be visible from the side of the TV due to where the USB plug is located. Both TVs came out looking amazing!
