Andrew was so nice and helpful. While he was here, I asked if he could also install/replace a bathroom faucet. I had the new one here for awhile and it's been sitting. He was able to do that as well, pretty quickly. He cleaned everything up in the bathroom area and outside. It may not seem like a big deal to some, but great customer service is so important, along with quality work. I was very hopeful based on these yelp reviews that this company would do a good job. The handyman I dealt with was very polite and just an overall good guy, but clearly inexperienced and not worthy of all 5 star reviews that this page had at the time I hired him for a days work. Some things he did well, I will give him that, but other tasks were done very poorly without attention to detail. I requested a partial refund and got less than I asked, but at least I got something back. In the end, I had to pay another handyman more than the refunded amount to perform the tasks correctly because he also charged me for his time (of course) to undo the errors made by Quick Help, which made things more expensive. For instance, the caulking of my bathtub and around the bathroom vanity looked like a child was making their first attempt at using caulk. That may come across as rude, but that is the reality of the situation. It took another handyman, that I am extremely happy to have found, a couple hours to remove the poorly done caulk job and clean up before applying caulk correctly, which resulted in me paying far more than had he just had a blank canvas to work on. I'm happy to see that other people generally have a wonderful experience with Quick Help, but I cannot say the same. read more
