I wanted to give a big shout to the Rite Aid pharmacy staff! I originally had an appointment at Walmart yesterday morning. I told the pharmacist I was there for the Novavax Covid Shot. I finish the consent form and the pharmacist says they only have Pfizer. I told her I didn't want that one. I was in the parking lot calling nearby pharmacies and Rite Aid had it. Walmart had charged the insurance so the Rite Aid staff had call my insurance and back and forth with Walmart to reverse the charge. I am so thankful that they went over and beyond to help me get this before I leave on vacation! Thanks so much! read more

I really like this Rite Aid Pharmacy. Everyone is friendly, and the pharmacists have been so helpful. There is always a pharmacist available when I have questions. I started using this pharmacy earlier in the year. They call or send texts when my prescriptions need to be filled or are ready to be picked up. They are so thoughtful when I call to do a refill. Getting travel vaccinations isn't as easy as it seems but thanks to this Rite Aid Pharmacy for being able to help me with my need when their other locations failed to. Hate shots but I love to travel. After calling a few CVS, Walgreens and two other Rite Aids, this was the only location that was able to help me get the shots that I needed in order to help me stay protected while visiting Peru, Argentina, Ecuador and Columbia. I had just came from a not so great visit from their location in Costa Mesa when I arrived. I had called while on my way to make sure they had the vaccinations I needed in stock which they did. When I checked into the counter they immediately knew who I was and what I was there for. After filling out the paperwork they asked me to take a seat for the pharmacist to call me in. I waited no more than 5 minutes when the pharmacist called me in their private area for their injections. I've had hundreds of shots so you think I'd be use to it by now but I'm not. I tend to get nervous but this pharmacist was great and was making jokes about what I should expect while in the Amazon which made me feel at ease. She really was great and I appreciated the conversation since it was distraction from the 4 shots she injected in 2 areas. Checking out was as easy as checking in and getting the vaccination. I was given a vaccination card and was on my way. I spent no more 25 minutes here and just a great experience. I'd highly recommend coming here since they are friendly and get the job done in a timely manner. read more

On December 15, 2022 I purchased 3 Apple gift cards for a friend, and only one of them worked. That means that after paying $300 cash to this store, I only received $100 worth of services. After revisiitng the store multiple times, i found that the employees were unwilling to refund my $200. The employees also had the nerve to call up Apple and tell tbem my money was returned - which is a LIE. ‐------------------ On March 15, 2023 around 11:45 am, I revisited the store after receiving a phone call from an employee's blocked number. I assume they tried to resolve the matter- but the whole attempt was pathetic. Danny (the manager) had very little to say and informed me that there was nothing that he could do. I think it's reasonable to expect store credit in an instance like this. I should not have to deal with lies and poor excuses after visiting as a paying customer. This review is for the pharmacy only. The ladies at the front were super kind and helpful. I was there this morning at 11am. 2 people were working. One lady, one man. The man was nice and trying to be helpful. The women was extremely rude. Speaking over me, not listening to me, she was extremely annoyed I was there and made me feel like a complete inconvenience to her. I will not be back to this pharmacy. There was also no other people, so they weren't busy at all at the moment. This was the best rite aid I ever been to had some really really bussing bussing ice cream and a great atmosphere. Very fun place to visit lots of great stuff to do really made some great memories here. I really enjoyed the blood pressure machine it was my favorite ride. Lastly though I really really really want to mention the wonderful amazing service and I would like to shout out the best rite aid worker I've ever met in my entire life you're the best Tammy thanks for all the help!! 10/10 Definitely would recommend visiting ask if Tammy is there she's the GOAT. read more

I travel a lot, so I pretty much have to rely on chains. IMHO, this place in Fullerton does a pretty decent job for vaccines. My family gets all their vaccines here, and it's been a mostly positive experience with getting the COVID "jabs". Schedule online, show up when you're supposed to, and the wait is never more than 15 minutes. I don't have any prescriptions here at the moment, they're all with another chain that, well, let's just say it has 3 letters...(and it just reeks) so I can't speak to that aspect. But if all Rite Aids are like this, I'll switch. Staff are friendly, polite, but understaffed and hurried. They need some more Pharmacists and Techs. Store needs some sprucing up, but is clean. Shelf items appear more expensive than when bought elsewhere, tho. Maybe smaller stores/buys/lots=higher prices. read more

Stopped by here while my car was being serviced across the street. I really just wanted some Thrifty Ice Cream! I did browse a little while I was there and ended up buying a little dog toy for $1. Their spring garden selection was on full display, almost all 50% off. Also, being the day after Easter - 50% all Easter candy! I resisted the urge though. This store was very clean and I found the people working extremely nice. My Plenti Card had to be updated and they walked me through the process which didn't take long. I heard them calling out to the folks waiting that they would be right with them. A nice touch as usually I'm ignored until I get to actually check out. Unfortunately, I don't like near this area or I would probably come back more often. But while my car is in for an oil change - getting an ice cream sure beat sitting in the waiting room watching CNN. read more

Staff in store and pharmacy are friendly, helpful and warm no matter what time you go in. The best part is trolling the store for clearance sale items. I've gotten some great deals including "As Seen On TV" goodies...things I wouldn't necessarily pay full price on but at 50% off are real bargains. I only have one complaint and it is not completely the fault of the store. Recently they had most of their shopping carts disappear apparently due to customer theft. They have been replaced with plastic baskets on wheels which are steered via something similar to the handles on luggage. These are NOT user-friendly for those of us with mobility problems. If it weren't for that I'd have given this rating 5 stars instead of 4. read more

CHOCOLATE MALTED CRUNCH! There, I said it. When you think of Rite Aid, the first thing you think of is ICE CREAM! I take the fam here mainly for the ice cream especially after we just got done having a nice lunch or dinner somewhere nearby. Alright, I guess the other stuff they sell here like drugs, alcohol, etc is ok too, but im telling you right now, 9 times out of 10, ITS ALL ABOUT THE ICE CREAM BABY! I especially love it when they have the half gallons on sale. Usually its 2 for 5 bucks. They are normally 3.99 so make sure you have a freezer big enough to stock up! Baskin and Robbins aint got nothing on this! Especially when they charge like 3 bucks for one scoop while Rite Aid is around a dollar and some change. One of those times I actually bought some park benches and a table because it was on clearance for like 60 percent off! So yeah, its not always about the ice cream but every time I check in, somebody that sees it on Yelp always comments their favorite flavor. Service is always awesome. I wish I can buy those specially designed picker upper thingies they use to scoop up the oval size morsels of sweet goodness but they said it was a proprietary thing and that it was not something you can buy. So in closing, I think they should be called "Ice Cream Aid and other things". LOL. read more

I'm surprised nobody has written a review of this place yet! This Rite Aid is right by my house and it usually has pretty good sales (e.g. Soda and chips are usually on sale). Front store and pharmacy staff are friendly. The only issue I had with this store was that they did not carry any brand name echinacea when I was sick a few months ago! The pharmacist I spoke to said they had remodeled and products were shifted around, and wasn't sure where the brand(s) I was looking for went! Since I couldn't get ahold of the echinacea brand I liked, I just decided to load up on vitamin C instead. Fortunately I didn't get too sick. You can find most of your pharmacy goods here. The times I came here the pharmacy looked relatively slow... So in my mind, filling a prescription shouldn't be so bad. When I first moved to OC about a year ago, there were frequent loiterers outside the store, including a girl asking for money to buy soda pop and a lady holding a baby holding a sign up asking for money as well. I have come here many times afterwards, and they seem to not frequent this strip mall anymore. In case you see anyone asking for change outside the store, don't be too surprised! Overall this pharmacy gets 3 stars for friendly staff and good prices. If my echinacea was there, then I'd given this place 4 stars. read more

Theres a battle that goes on between the "pharmacies" of Socal and at the middle are the core goods of a society, candy, beer and cheap cosmetics. When it comes to beer, Rite Aid is king! I don't drink beer that often anymore, but I had an obsession that lasted long enough. Rite aid will be the cheapest place to buy the beer you want in the most convenient location. I'm talking Alaskan Amber 12 packs 10.99, Bohemia 12 packs 10.99, Sierra Nevada, Blue Moon and on and on. This place also has the highest beer turn over- so your beer is always good! I went to the pharmacy around 12:30pm. Their lunch break is posted at 1:30pm. NOW WHY CANT I GET MY MEDICINE THAT I NEED FOR TODAY, because apparently they are now on their lunch break and cannot follow their time that is posted OUTSIDE and they are extremely rude and careless of someone's health. I only come here for my medicine since it's the closest one to me but if I were you I would Avoid this pharmacy. I see multiple reviews about the same situation about the pharmacy employees. I called to report it but instead spoke to frank and was unable to speak to a manager also, FRANK said he is being over worked and is working today 13+ hours and is exhausted. If that is the case he need to report it to HR or to someone who can help him. Some people just need their medicine without a issue occurring. read more

This review is for the Pharmacy and my experience with Frank...I know you have a policy that you can hold on to prescriptions for so long. I was told 2 weeks. Left me a message saying I need to pick-up today before 6PM orhe will cancel the order. I did pay online previous day so I can pick-up with my other prescriptions available the next day. The other lady staff was able to hold my prescription for an extra day or two when I called in previously but Frank will not even hold it for me for an extra day so I can pickup with the rest of my prescriptions. My conversation with him escalated when he started raising his tone and giving me indifferent attitude...I was just asking if he can hold it for one (1) day and he said he will not do that...I've never experience this with any pharmacy staff. They should be more compassionate & understanding to patients... Other staff is super nice...Frank needs to learn how to be one. If that's the way it is, then I don't recommend going to this pharmacy anymore... read more
