I have never needed to return anything to Longs before. It was easy. First, they scanned my digital receipt and then the two items, asked me nothing. They let me know I had paid with a debit card, therefore the amount would automatically be placed onto that exact card. Simple. I then proceeded with my purchase. The store could use a little sprucing up...but that may be due to how some isles are made into isles by items. The lighting is poor, but only due to it being florescent... everything is always marked and usually in stock. (For Hawaii) I go here often for Lei and snacks. Around the holidays, I like to grab greeting cards. I have also stopped in for candies and white elephant gifts. Stocking stuffers and things when I need to buy multiple gifts and gift bags. Medicine!! Vitamins!! I don't know what I would do without longs.

My…read morelocal Long's has always been my go to pharmacy whenever there's a choice for me to choose and it's no different when I'm ready for my flu shot as it's not just a great safe way to keep you going strong while others aren't as it's not just exhausting but as you get older the recovery is just not what it used to be. I came this day for a flu shot which you can make an appointment on the app or just walk in like I did and is free with most insurance but what's great is the incentive of a coupon for $10 off $20 purchase and to be honest I was planning to purchase some cold relief as I was already going low and there was a promotion going on as well so it was a double double win. There is a privacy screen for you to take your shot but the staff is wonderful and it was literally a pain free process. Thank you!

But one worker is not only friendly, he goes out of his way to help you. I found out his name is Trey. Not only does he try to help, he goes above and beyond and searches the back and even scrutinizes what he finds to make sure it's the correct item. Having him as a worker can uplift the entire store when he is around. He is a nice addition to this store!

The long pole attached to the shopping wagon prevented me from properly exiting and rolling the wagon to my car. My only options were to make multiple trips and risk leaving my groceries unattended where they could easily be stolen. I would leave one star, but my experience with the photo department was actually great. Because of that, I'm giving a higher rating. The store really needs to rethink the wagon/cart design or provide a better solution for customers buying heavier items.

With that searching online using their app does make the search so much easier and rules out if they have the item or not at any of their locations throughout the island and my search was so simple but didn't think it would be an issue which turns out to be exactly that as I was just looking for paper cups...not plastic or foam regular paper cups and they not only had them it was on clearance...woohoo! Though search was a bit difficult to find as they do have so much other items that made me forget what initially what I was here for lol! This N School Street is quite big with lots of parking and is very accessible even at a busy intersection and is very nice, clean and organized. From the pharmacy to the photo counter to the cashiers, everyone is friendly, helpful, and on their A-game. The issue, though, isn't the people--it's the inventory. Or, more specifically, the lack of it. During this trip alone, I've been to Longs at least five times to grab things for my dad, and each visit has ended with me scratching my head. Shaving cream? Nope. Disposable plates? Nada. Lidocaine patches? Out. Dog pee pads? Forget it. Today's wild goose chase was for a specific battery for a garage clicker that I know is here. A kind employee went above and beyond--checked the shelves, scoured the backroom, and finally declared that the 15 batteries showing in their system were stolen. Yep, walked right out the door. Is this the story with the rest of the inventory too? It might explain why the shelves are perpetually bare. When I asked when they'd restock, the answer was a shrug and maybe a week because, well, the phantom batteries are "technically" still there in the system. It's baffling. Oh, and parking? I had to get a total of 12 infusions once a week…read more From day one, nurse staff was kind, welcoming, and comforting, especially my main nurse Mel!! I appreciated being greeted with kindness and a smile during a very stressful medical care situation. Mel and the other nurses on staff worked well together, helped eachother out when it was full in the infusion seats, and always answered all of my questions and would message the pharmacist for me about if certain meds or supplements might interact. Mel gave me lots of encouragement and a listening ear when she had downtime during my infusion. Mel doesn't make it feel like you're coming in for a medical treatment, it feels like I'm just taking an hour break to relax. She even offered me jolly ranchers at my first visit because the meds I was getting made a bitter taste! She is so kind, professional and thoughtful! I never had any infection or issues at the site of infusion so they are very efficient and clean. I am very grateful to have gotten my infusions done at Pharmacare and if I ever needed more treatment I would hope that Mel is still there to be my nurse again!!
