I think it is very unprofessional for a 20 year old to call a 70 year old by a first name. This seems to be the going thing now. I was taught that age deserves respect and respect is given by a using a title. Ie. Mr or Ms. There is no respect in using a first name. This does not sit well with me. Never should a person in the Public Service use the first name unless they are given permission by the customer. WHAT has gone wrong with business. I do not blame the employees It is the responsibility of owners and management to be sure the employees are trained to show respect. As for what they were paid to do and the person, Jodie. She was very professional and did not rush me. She showed a professional concern and talked me thru the procedure. No complaint on that which is the most important part. Update: I have been contacted by the owner. It was explained that the using of the last name would be in violation of HIPPA. (another useless law from our Government). I cannot blame the business or the employees on that. My wait time was explained. I understand, IT happens, hopefully it can be prevented as most people report they had a short wait. I have changed my rating to 5 star.

The gentleman that was doing the scan has great conversation/stories while your on the scanning table for an extended amount of time. The only problem I see is the walk into and out of the building is not patient - disabled friendly due to the front of the BofA building is closed off since the bank shut down. The parking lot has lots of speed humps, bumps and inclines. Not to mention when getting deliveries the big trucks park right outside where you're walking up to the building giving off fumes and heat.

They are located in a high rise office building close to Highway 75 and Medical City. The visitor parking is a few rows back from the building. It is clearly marked, but still easy to get to the building. My nurse practitioner put in a request for an x-ray on my right foot that I have been hobbling in pain on since July. I received a text message from Envision Imaging just a few hours after my medical appointment with my nurse practitioner. The text had a link to the electronic checkin. I was able to fill out all of the paperwork online and in advance of the appointment for the x-ray. I was thrilled to find out that they are open on Saturday mornings. You can easily book an appointment online, but if you need to schedule a same day or next day appointment, you have to call. I called and someone answered right away. The representative was able to book me an appointment the very next day. The facility is on the ground floor of the high rise office building. The waiting room had plenty of space and was nicely decorated. There was a television for those who wanted to pass the time. I didn't wait long. There were two staff members at the desk. One checked me in and took my payment. Both were friendly and upbeat. The technician called my name soon afterwards. She wore all black except bright pink gloves. She reviewed my medical history and then had me hop up on the table to do a few x-rays on my foot. The table was at a low level which made it easier to get on. I did have to configure leg and foot in various positions so that she could capture all angles. No protective lead shield apron was provided. Apparently the equipment is calibrated and directed so it doesn't irradiate my entire body unnecessarily. The capture process was mere seconds. After three or four shots in different positions, I was done. I had arrived 15 minutes early for my 10:45 am appointment. They were so quick and efficient that I was actually done with everything BEFORE 10:45. Wow! What great service!

Consequently, she hurt my right breast due to a lack of communication and empathy. I would recommend that she take some course to be more empathetic with patients. Also, that there are people who can translate, like a young woman there who performed a bone density study on me and used an application to translate into my language.

They finally call me back at 9:05. Twenty-five minutes! You could hard-boil an egg twice in that time! And the guy collecting my urine sample? Well he wasn't interested. Oh, he's having the time of his life. Not working. Not calling patients. Not even pretending to look busy. No, no - he's glued to his phone watching music videos like he's front row at the MTV Awards. I'm thinking, "Is Quest Diagnostics branching out? Are we doing lab work and DJing now? Should I tip him? Does he take requests?" Meanwhile I'm sitting there with a cup in my hand trying to decide if I'm interrupting him by showing up for my scheduled medical test. The whole thing felt like a hostage situation where the ransom was "Please hold your bladder just a little longer." And I swear, the guy didn't even look up. I'm standing there like, "Hi! Remember me? The appointment? The thing we're all here for?!" Nothing. Total radio silence. I've had TSA agents show more customer engagement. What's the deal with your staff being 25 minutes behind while living their best TikTok life? I mean, I'm glad he's enjoying the music - but maybe, just maybe, he could enjoy it after he collects the thing he's being paid to collect? Anyway, 1 star. The star is for the music videos - they were honestly the best-run part of the operation.

A quick "lightning bolt" shot down to my thumb when the needle went in. Accidents happen, but the chaos here doesn't help. Check-in feels like a cattle call: one kiosk for a lobby full of people. Quest, please install a second kiosk (at least). The tech told me they're "supposed to see 25 patients a day" but always blow past that number. No wonder everyone looks overworked and appointments run late. Until staffing and check-in improve, I'll be booking elsewhere.
