Like all these reviews say, Amy is an incredible injector. That said, do not volunteer to be a model for training purposes. It's not worth it. I didn't even go specifically for the small price reduction, but it was a bonus. I thought, nothing can go too wrong. Amy is literally 1 foot away from the trainee. If they aren't doing it correctly, she will correct them. And she's so talented, I'll be fine! Well, I was wrong. Amy injected the left side of my face to demonstrate to the trainee. It was painless and the final results were exactly what I hoped for. A bit of additional volume where I had hollowed out from weight loss & having two kids. Then the trainee injected my right side and something felt off from the start. There was a ton of tugging and pulling, which I thought might be normal since this person was learning, but then she said "doesn't look like I got any filler there" (my upper temple) and she didn't. Amy then massaged my face and said the prp added to the filler makes the solution more forgiving and it should help the filler go where it needs to. After this, Amy said if things didn't look perfect after the swelling went down to come back because she wanted it to be perfect for my 40th birthday. That was comforting & worrisome seeing as I'd never had an injector offer a retouching before the treatment was even completed. After swelling went down, the right side of my face was a lumpy mess and overfilled near my eye. I can still see a line in my cheek where the cannula was inserted. All the filler was placed near my eye socket, not my temples, with a marble of filler deposited into my lower right cheek. This filler was supposed to be fanned out in my lower cheek to help with volume loss but I just ended up with a floating marble of filler. When I sent my pictures and concerns in, I was told that I needed more filler. I didn't/don't want more filler. I want the amount of filler they initially put into my face injected correctly in the right areas. So we agreed that I would come into for an appointment to evaluate. I did and it was decided that dissolving solution would be used to see if the filler would break-up and go into the correct areas. As you can see in the text conversation, after the swelling went down from the dissolving appointment, my lower face wasn't even, but the marble had spread out enough that I was okay with the results. I also didn't wish to mess with that area further for fear of making it worse. However, the dissolving solution used for the overfill near my eye also hollowed out my temple completely and left me with dent that I didn't have previously. I asked if they could fix that and they said of course if I paid another $450. If I didn't want to pay they wished me well because the HIGH COST OF FILLER was just too much to fix my face without additional payment. Are you kidding me? Yah. I know how much it costs. I just paid you $650 (per side) to inject a floating marble & make the right side of my head look like I got kicked by some livestock. This whole exchange has been incredibly saddening for me. Like most women, I came to them with the goal of addressing an insecurity and they not only made it worse, they also wouldn't accept responsibility for their actions after the fact. I don't want anything additional. I just want both sides of my head to look the same and no lumps in my cheeks. In my last correspondence with them, I just wanted my temple fixed. I don't think that's too much to ask, but since they do I'll gladly go to another establishment and pay way more than $450 to have my face fixed. Unfortunately, the pics won't go in order, but the information is there.

Before and after! And the pictures don't even do it justice

it's so hard to find somebody that you're going to be comfortable with, that you know that loves their job and Amy was all that and more.. Amy is such a wonderful person! It was my First time ever getting lip filler and the first thing she did was to make sure I was comfortable, it was warm welcoming, she listened to me. (I can just go on lol) she was just a delightful person and I will always make sure to come back to her..

Had my first facial ever with Brooke today... and wow! Not only was she knowledgeable about the products and systems she was using, she was able to explain things to me every step of the way with grace and professionalism. My skin looks and feels amazing, I can't wait to go back! My friend was in the sitting room after her procedure and commented on how sweet and professional Brooke was as well and wants to book next! Thank you Medical Rejuvenation, and Brooke, for taking such great care of us. We will definitely return!

After two tear trough fillers and one cheek filler. No filter. This was literally a few hours after cheek fillers. Scowling to see screen.

Wow! I can't say enough good things here. Professional, extremely knowledgeable, as gentle as can be for specific procedures. At 53 I don't have the volume as I did in my youth. Dark circles, bags, laugh lines, and I just looked tired. Enter Amy at Med Rejuv. Filled my tear troughs and cheeks and after three treatments the difference is night and day. My eyes are more open. Cheeks and under eyes look more smooth but not too much. Amy is careful not to overdo it. Being conservative is an excellent trait for this. It's not the volume, but the Artist's touch that make the difference. The price point may shock some but they offer different deals and periodic values that help. I found it to be worth it for the renewed vitality in my face and eyes. My confidence has improved and overall I feel...great. Pic on left after one tear trough treatment pic on right after two tear trough treatments and first cheek filler (an hour and a half later I was read to go show off). Love this place and Amy. Note: They have moved to a beautiful office in Gladstone with relaxing views over the river across from the DMV.

I upgrade each time to the light therapy facial which is an hr & half for $20 more & you can add extraction for $5. Most of the time is spent just under the light. At one point, during the 1st facial, I thought maybe she forgot about me. I like that she offers the paraffin treatment for your hands and can turn the bed massager on if you want it. The massager just vibrated & when she went to put my hands back under the blanket, after the paraffin removal, it was thrown not gently placed. The heat pads on my tummy & around my neck were nice touches. She has a lot of knowledge about products which is nice but when I get facials I'm one of those people who like complete silence. I mentioned that I'd let her do her stuff & just fall asleep a couple of times & she did eventually get it. I get weekly facials & massages so I compare the experiences to different salons/spas. My 3 star rating just means the treatment was good but not exceptional & needs improvement. Most facials do offer paraffin for hands, extraction, aromatherapy, massage for face, neck & shoulders (some even offer massage for feet) while the mask is setting. So esthetician never leaves the room. Average cost is $50-$60. Her treatments (chemical peels, microdermabrasion, light therapy etc) are priced high but she does offer pre-paid packages that make them less.

I wish I could leave a negative star rating because this person doesn't even deserve ONE star! I…read morehave NEVER been so insulted in my life to have spent over $300 on IPL services from Lisa, who couldn't be bothered to even return my call. I started reading her reviews on Groupon (Living Social) and found customer-after-customer who had complained about this charlatan. One party even spoke of a class-action lawsuit against her. The word, "FRAUD" cropped up over and again in her reviews. She is reported to rush her clients through and not do a very good job. One wrote that her entire treatment lasted around 7 minutes! It is clear to me that this woman offers super-low prices on her IPL services, books as many people as she can cram in, gives them shoddy services, and doesn't even bother to return her calls. I called for days, over and over and over, and left messages, not only on her voicemail but also on the main salon's voicemail. Needless to say, I got a refund for both Groupons that I bought and will NEVER attempt to do business with her again. This kind of customer "service" is almost unheard of in the Portland area. I needed to book this service prior to an upcoming trip. BOO Lisa! Someone else got my business. UPDATE: as soon as I wrote this review, she called. Rolls eyes.

The state of Oregon has confirmed Lisa Meredith is NOT LICENSED to do laser IPL. She burned my…read moreface, was very rude and dismissive of me from start to finish and even AFTER she burned me. The owner of the salon never got back to me even after admitting my concerns were valid. It appears Lisa is still offering IPL sessions in which she is not licensed for (confirmed yesterday by the state case worker). Lisa was dismissive of my concerns and past history of treatment in the actual session, directly after she did the first 'test' zap. I persisted to raise concerns and had to ask several times about the name of machine and what settings I was on before she would answer, but repeatedly told me she was a professional and the machine was 'on the lowest setting for my skin type'. Even after I remarked I had this procedure done at least 10x and know what it should feel like and that this was way more intense, she insisted she was right and proceeded. I grinned and beared it, when I should have walked out! She also commented that my other providers must not have been effective and that she was a professional - trying to discredit my other successful and less painful experiences. 20-30 minutes after the procedure I called Lisa and left a voicemail that indeed purple marks were appearing on my face. I did not receive a call back after 4-5 hours, so I then texted her the photos of my face with clear purple marks that exactly matched the laser head. Her response was just as dismissive as earlier for any & every concern I had brought up with her - and she texted back "That is exactly how your face should look!...your IPLs in the past were clearly not effective ones...I know how to do my job and am very good at it" !!!!!! Again discrediting ALL my past treatments and providers. I indeed had burns confirmed by my doctor and that matched all results of "Well defined rectangular marks that match up with the IPL device used." & "The appearance of red or purple discoloration on the skin that does not change when pressure is applied." & 'Crusting or blistering of the skin." After 6 months there are still traces of the rectangle marks and slight white scarring on my face in those areas, confirmed by my doctor. The salon owner had a call with me and said she would be following up but never heard from her again. I reported this to Groupon and they also did nothing and allow her to advertise IPL through their site. The state has warned Lisa about not being licensed but apparently she is still offering IPL when she is NOT LICENSED. BEWARE.

Let me first start by saying the "spa" here should have its own yelp because a lot of these reviews…read moreare for the medical procedures which are misleading to really how terrible this place is claiming to be a top spa. Now, maybe I am just used to the TRUE luxury spas like in Scottsdale, AZ or Southern California but if people here think this is a luxury spa you have not really been to one. First, upon arrival it is clear they want to push their med spa and procedures there was nothing but advertisements, creams, and marking for that in your face everywhere you turned. After checking in, the woman said she would give me a tour, she led me to a glass door that was supposed to be an outdoor patio and said I could use it if I wanted some sun, I looked out to see a broken fountain, a mess of chairs thrown about, and nothing relaxing or enticing that made me want to go out there. Next, she led me down the stairs to the soaking pool, cold dip, etc. I booked this place for one reason. I am recovering from an injury and wanted to soak in a hot tub, sauna, etc. While it was visually pleasing in that particular part, but then she said "and today since it is so hot out, we have the soaking pool at am ambient temperature." Like what do you mean ambient? I was thinking to myself that thing better be a VERY warm ambient. When walking out she pointed to some neglected pedicure chairs in the corner and said these are nice to sit in and get a massage and are heated. I thought that was strange because the chairs were stained and had clearly not been used in a while and you had to climb up a huge stone step like you would if you were getting a spa pedi just to use them. It was like they were trying to pass them off as something nice but really should be taken out! Next, we went into the locker rooms, now when I go to the spa, I bring a swimsuit, and a fresh change of clothes and my makeup to freshen up after. The lockers were the size of piggy banks, and I had to cram my stuff in so tight, it would barely lock and upon opening everything fell out. There are no hooks ANYWHERE, I had to put my robe on the dirty ground after getting into my swimsuit because there was no where to hang it, or a towel once you were getting dressed and undressed. Anyway, she said she would turn on the jets to the soaking pool and bring me some paperwork to sign. She never did either. I put my suit on with my now dirty gross robe, and sandals that were enormous. I couldn't wait to get in the pool and I step in and it is absolutely freezing. Like ice cold bath water. This is what she meant by ambient. Like on your website you say it is 103 degrees, this was maybe 85 degrees. I was so upset. The entire reason I came and I am now teeth chattering cold. I get out of the pool and go into the sauna to warm up. It is also turned down so low that I crank up the temp to 105 degrees and it took forever to heat up. Now I am soaked and damp, and even more uncomfortable than when I arrived. I went back to the locker room, took off my wet suit and changed into dry undergarments for my massage and thought I would try to warm up in the heated massage pedi chairs she pointed out. I sit down and push the massage and literally thought my brain was going to get shook out of my head. It just vibrates at a scale that is NOT comfortable. I just shut it off and honestly almost left at that point. Fifteen minutes after my massage was supposed to start, this massage therapist huffs around the corner and says my name. She literally has a mullet, the biggest N95 White mask on I have ever seen and NO SHOES! Like what in the actual F! One thing is for sure, if you are wanting a "stay weird" Portland spa, y'all have found it! We go into this weird doctors treatment room, nothing calming, relaxing or spa vibes at all. It's very bright in there, and I tell her I want light pressure, and I had to tell her three times to lighten it up. I HATE massage therapists that use their elbows, and whole arms, and sh** like they are digging into you. I just want something relaxing not where I am grunting for you to stop! I had also asked for the hot oil head massage. After my 60 minutes, she didn't say anything about it, didn't offer it, and honestly I was at this point thinking I am at the threshold of hell. I just wanted to get out of there. I went back to the locker room, and because they offer no bags for your wet clothes like most spas, my suit had soaked my entire bag and I left in wet soppy clothes. The one nice thing is the girl working the front desk noticed how displeased and offered to take off the $25 for the spa facilities but honestly this place is an epic joke, trying to pass off as luxury. Do not waste your time, or energy here.
