I went yesterday and bought some wine that costs around $15 per bottle, and yet at Total Wine it cost $5 cheaper. Why do they mark it up so much? I refuse to give them business when I can go just up the street and pay less. The owner of this franchise should rethink of how they mark up the prices, and have employees that actually enjoy being at work and not be so damn rude. Yesterday was the last day I give them business. Big thumbs down for them!! P.S. That doesn't mean I know where everything is, just that I have a basic idea of what area to head toward! I have never had to go roaming around to find an item or to find someone to assist me. I would say I'm usually approached in under a minute if I'm standing there looking a bit confused. They always seem to be well staffed and the staff is knowledgeable about various wines, liquors, etc. If the person helping you doesn't know something, they find someone who does. The store is always clean. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They're usually well stocked (at least for items we're looking for). I don't love roaming around a big store and shopping, but they make it easy! Of course I'll be back!

I am in love with Brick River Cider and Ace Cider and I can count on this location to have what I need. Their NA section of beer, wine, and spirits is top notch too. A bartender friend of mine picks up these items to when hosting sober nights. A fun thing about this place is that they card everyone in their 30s and below! It's always a nice compliment to feel young again. This place is very accessible and if not too busy you can ask for a customer service representative to help be your personal shopper. And if you have small children you must keep them with you at all times but it is often best not to bring them on this shopping run if not 100% necessary.

I did not even know this was possible. Randall's always goes above and beyond. I do enjoy shopping in the store, but this service is amazing and above and beyond. Thanks to Randall's I was able to have each family members favorite adult drinks with out having to take time out of the house. After he retired it has never been the same. When have I seen a manager walking the store greeting customers?? Never anymore. The deli is great, but this Dierbergs is limited and the hours don't make sense. If you are working and want to grab off the hot bar.. forget it. Nothing left after 4:30. Not a fan of the Dierbergs brand meat and have switched to Schnucks for Dietz and Watson. Produce vs Schnucks. No comparison. Under ripe fruit, no salad bar and basically and unappealing offering. And spending incredible prices??!! What drives a customer to this store? It used to be the checkers who I knew and knew their stories, their lives. It was the store that wanted to help and make sure I felt welcomed- a manager, or even managers who recognized me and said hello. Now, we have gates to get our carts through, no salad bar, frozen bakery items and a second tier produce department with frozen or old fruit. Do I enjoy giving this type of review for a brand that I so long loved? No. But it's the truth and Bob Dierbergs needs to read this and see how his customers of over 59 years feel.

I hope management takes steps to improve employee morale and customer service because right now, it's hard to justify coming back.
