My wife purchased a package of Bob's pulled pork at the Manchester Dierberg's (Lafayette Center) because we didn't have time to cook one weekday evening. The pork was nasty. Wasn't "pulled" or shredded, it was actually in big chunks, several of which were mostly fat but couldn't tell until we bit into it. Never again. read more

Once again, come to Dierbergs buy $250 worth of food (paid high retail) and end up doing all the work. (I feel like I'm at a gas station) Not one lane was open for anyone to help check out. I had to check out, scan all my items, bag and re-stack them in my cart. I come to Dierbergs for the convenience certainly not for the bargains. If I wanted bargain prices I'll go to Costco, Sam's or Aldi's. I don't expect much service there because the pricing and my expectations to service are low. This review is specifically for Steven in the floral department. I had a friend in the hospital that I wanted to send a very specific basket to. Steven took the time to immediately go throughout the store and find my items for me, called me back within 10 minutes, and made sure that I had everything I needed to go into my custom delivery. His customer service is above and beyond and I hope his managers recognize him and appreciate him for it. read more

The only thing I can say positive is that it is close to me. Yet I regret it every time I shop there. Always out of everything, especially fresh produce. Seafood case is um, humble. Prices are close to Whole Foods without nearly the selection or quality. And then the bonus is that you bag all your stuff most times as they don't have staff to do it. read more

I ran into Dierberg's looking for my cereal and they didn't have it. My fault. I didn't buy it there I bought it at Whole Foods. They carry the brand but not that specific variety. I did find Raw Rev nutrition bars there though so that was a bonus. I've always been a Dierberg's fan. I'm sure I'll be back. read more

I do not patronize this Dierbergs often but when in the area and needing a few things, I drop in. Yesterday I couldn't find what I needed. I was addressed by no store teammates offering assistance or even greeting me. They were all very busy. I did self-checkout, and the attendant didn't even say "Thank You." I found one thing I needed and pretty much looked through the whole store. Produce looked OK. The deli/prepared food area was set up quite differently from other Dierbergs I've visited. Even Bob's Barbeque looked rather old, stale and over-cooked. The prepared food area was rather lame and not well-stocked. Lots of pre-packaged meats and poultry. And a good-sized butcher area. Lots of frozen goods. Clayton D. is correct. The Party Center is HUGE. It almost seemed like half the store is wine. I only found one thing I needed. Is this a scavenger hunt? I visited Dierberg's yesterday. I am usually a Schnuck's shopper but this location was on my way to an appointment. I went through self check out to purchase my grapes and for some reason it took me several tries for the card reader to work. During this time, the attendants seemed to be very busy talking to each other and did not come by or offer to help. Once I was able to check out I was approached by the female attendant who accused me of stealing the 1.24 worth of grapes that I bought with a receipt along with a pin verified caption in tact. After I showed her my receipt she failed to apologize or explain that she was wrong. I have worked in sales and have NEVER accused a customer of not paying or lying about not paying. I find it funny reviewing grocery stores....they usually end up being the same. Well, the Dierbergs at Clarkson/Clayton needed some help. I know that the remodel has been done for a bit, but it is great. This store used to feel real cramped but it is muched improved. The party center is way better! read more

Dierbergs provided a Casket Spray or my mom's funeral. It was fresh, very elegant, and perfectly helped represent her vibrant life. They delivered it on time in the time frame requested. It was a good value compared to other florests and Dierbergs created it here in st louis locally. read more

I think this location is much better than the small Wildwood location on Highway 100 at town center. The selection of products is much better and it is far more spacious. I have made this my go to location since moving to the area. read more
