They do partner with other local brands like city wide, clementines, ted drewes, and old vienna to name a few favorites. The deli is great but they close too early for my liking. If you make it early try the different sides if you pick up a rotisserie chicken. They do have butchers there to help you with fresh portions but be sure to ask if there is frozen variety just in case fresh won't work for your shopping trip. They have a wonderful gluten free section with pantry items like pancake mix to pasta but they also have a freezer section with desserts, entrees, and pizzas. The staff is always so friendly and they are disability friendly when hiring so that always makes me feel seen. The staff is always so friendly and helps me find what I need and help score deals on the mobile app. They can help you get a rug doctor too in case you need a deep clean at home. Besides finding local gems, the produce is always fresh and lasts a week or so in the fridge which is great in case you forget the lettuce in the bag behind your milk! The prices are great too and often run 2 for $5 deals and reduced prices for their branded products that stand up to the main brands. This place is very accessible so always a plus. I appreciate them for having mom, veteran, and first responder parking.

No other schnucks has done that for me and I really appreciate that. I'm taking out one star because I had come here on a mission to get their chicken wings from the bar a few weeks ago, but everything was cleared out and it was still pretty early in the day. I was really disappointed because it was all I was craving that day. Other than that they always have whatever I need. I will say that when they changed the price for a 10lb bag of potatoes to $10.99 they were psycho, but when I went back today, it was nice to see they brought it back down to $6.99. The world is right again (if only for a moment). *their spicy glazed wings are chef's kiss - childhood favorite

When we first moved to our current home and started shopping here, I loved this store. I loved it for years! The staff were great, the products offered were wonderful, the store was well stocked, etc. Not so much anymore. I still shop there out of convenience. And honestly, out of laziness. I don't want to have to learn another store! I put my grocery list in order of the store and it saves a lot of time - no going back and forth. Over the years, some of the best employees have left. I know some retired, and some moved to another location. But I know some left because the company was no longer the good company it used to be. I know this because that's what I was told by some of the staff before they left. The employees are no longer as friendly as the staff used to be. Are there still some friendly employees there - of course. But most of them are not. The product selection has suffered. Things I bought for years are no longer carried here. I've been lied to when I've asked about a product. I've been told more than once that a product they used to carry is no longer being made. Interesting. Other stores carry those products. And often there are huge gaps on the shelves - it isn't always a well stocked store. Half the time I'm shopping, I can't get down all the aisles because they're stocking shelves and taking up a lot of room. Don't even get me started on how much expired food I find there! And I'm not talking about a day or two beyond the expiration date. I'm talking weeks and even months. The produce isn't as good as it used to be and neither is a lot of the meat. It's sad how much this store has gone downhill. I definitely need to work on learning my way around another store!

I was here to purchase their Tuscan Garden Honey Mustard salad dressing. There's a buzz on the internet about it right now. It's supposed to be very good and difficult to find. They only had 2-3 bottles left so I was glad I scored one and didn't have to look at another store. I walked the whole store and ended up leaving with a total of 3 items. I'm sure I'll be back!

And an easy-to-find location in the strip mall at the northwest corner of Clarkson and Manchester -- where Kmart previously resided. I only got items in the circular, and the prices were crazy good! Mango for 39 cents (79 cents at Walmart), seedless cucumber for 79 cents ($1.38 each at Sam's, and you have to buy three), pineapple for 99 cents ($2.99 at Walmart) and on and on. All the produce was lovely, fresh and bountiful. Lots of dairy, meats, canned goods and paper products -- much more. This store seems larger with more offerings than the store in The Valley, and it seems a "tad" larger than the store in Creve Coeur. It definitely has wider aisles than the other two stores. Overall, Aldi carries brands of which I know nothing, but I did see General Mills cereals, Coca-Cola products and Hellmann's mayonnaise. They have wine. I didn't see beer or spirits, but I wasn't eagle-eyeing for those. There is "that aisle" wherein lies many spectacular non-grocery treasures that rotate weekly. Today, most offerings were summer-forward, and nothing caught my eye. But I'll keep watch. Checkout was amazingly quick, especially considering the crowd. Jordan was friendly and efficient. Yes, they do the quarter thing to snag a shopping cart. Hence, no shopping cart corrals in the parking lot. And, yes, I forgot to bring bags.

It feels like the step child of other Dierbergs and is more frustrating than not. Why? The service- other than a few of the holdovers as cashiers and deli staff no one seems to care. There is no passion, no enthusiasm, a total who gives a sh... attitude. When Terry, the manager of many years left, things went downhill. He came back and things improved. After he retired it has never been the same. When have I seen a manager walking the store greeting customers?? Never anymore. When do I get a greeting or a thank you from the self check-out person ... hardly ever ... only from the people who worked with Terry. Meat department ...you feel like you are a bother. The deli is great, but this Dierbergs is limited and the hours don't make sense. If you are working and want to grab off the hot bar.. forget it. Nothing left after 4:30. Not a fan of the Dierbergs brand meat and have switched to Schnucks for Dietz and Watson. Produce vs Schnucks. No comparison. Under ripe fruit, no salad bar and basically and unappealing offering. Not to mention prices that are just STUPID! Then we go to the bakery with EVERYTHING frozen or frozen and the. Thawed. Do customers notice and for the prices YES we do, and we say NO THANK YOU. I always paid the extra price for Dierbergs customer service and excellent quality's. Then they decided to become Walmart and deliver crap quality-not for me. Then they decided to become a Straub's with same or less quality with higher prices .. NO. I only shop at Dierbergs for convenience, but every time I go I to this store I ask myself why am I here?!! And spending incredible prices??!! What drives a customer to this store? It used to be the checkers who I knew and knew their stories, their lives. It was the store that wanted to help and make sure I felt welcomed- a manager, or even managers who recognized me and said hello. Now, we have gates to get our carts through, no salad bar, frozen bakery items and a second tier produce department with frozen or old fruit. Do I enjoy giving this type of review for a brand that I so long loved? No. But it's the truth and Bob Dierbergs needs to read this and see how his customers of over 59 years feel.

Something seems to have changed, and now nearly every staff member seems miserable and unapproachable. The bagging situation is especially frustrating. It looks like they've completely eliminated baggers, and cashiers don't offer even the smallest bit of assistance with moving items from the conveyor belt into your cart. Shopping here has gone from convenient and pleasant to exhausting and impersonal. It's a shame because it used to be a store I genuinely looked forward to visiting. I hope management takes steps to improve employee morale and customer service because right now, it's hard to justify coming back.
