It's fun for kids. The show is OK, there is some humor, and the food is just OK. The kids love it though (two boys, aged 6).

They don't recommend for kids/teens, because people are joking and talking ish and some of the improv could take a spicy turn at any moment. The chef and the actors walk around to the tables and introduce themselves. People come here to let out a laugh and unwind. The Food: Delicious! The crab cake sandwich was big/fresh all lumps with crispy hot fries that did not disappoint. The package comes with several options, from homestyle meat loaf to Mediterranean salad with chicken stuffed pita that my friend said was really good. You get 2 courses and a non-alcohol beverage. Dessert was good, a dark fudge cake with strawberries and whipped cream, enjoyable. The Drinks: The 2 martini's I had weren't blended well. I would stick with wine or something like a rum & coke. The Storyline: Creative and funny, about a dating show where the two contestants need to stay together for 3 years to get the million-dollar jackpot. Only issue, there's a love triangle. So, you can imagine who all had motives to secure the bag. They bring the audience into the story with question prompts and even had me in the hot seat for questioning by a detective. So hilarious! Looking for something different to do and you feel like meeting people over good food and theater, THIS IS IT!

The servers were super and the cast was amazing. You can heckle the cast, ask questions of the suspects or just sit back and watch the performance. The show was full of humor and some double-entendres. The restaurant was a little chilly so where something a little heavier or bring a coat. Best 3.5 hours I've spent in a while and totally worth the ticket price. The whole show takes place in and around the diners making for an up close and personal experience. Usually you feel so rushed at these dinner/shows but we had plenty of time. The food was very good and there were choices that should have made everyone happy. I cannot say enough good things about this performance!! We absolutely enjoyed it. None of us had ever been to a Murder Mystery before so we were ready for something new! The 2 Cast members were amazing! They kept us entertained and laughing the entire time! At the intermission, they have coffee/tea and desert at the same time. We appreciated this because you're always too full to eat desert with dinner but this gave everyone plenty of time to be ready for the delightful carrot cake they provided. The 2 Stars also stood around after the event to talk to everyone and take pictures! I highly, highly recommend this event! What made it even more special was that I was able to take my 15-year-old also!

After that, I have to say things went off the rails a bit. For a start, this is the first "theatre" that had no stage. Not a small stage, no stage at all. We found ourselves, a group of 30-40 people crammed into a large room on the second floor with barely any room in July with AC so weak it was never below 76F. Then the show began. I was expecting a curtain to rise and a stage to appear, but sadly all the story and acting was done between the tables. I will say the acting ranged from surprisingly good to the obviously inispired acting of the audience members who decided to join in. The story was comedic and easy to follow, with references to Sherlock Holmes and even Indiana Jones. Sadly the heat and the terrible location without a stage made it hard to enjoy when the cast is constantly moving around. If they get a proper venue, I am sure they do wonderful things, but this was more like a test run. That I paid for.

I'm glad we picked a weekday to attend. It was less crowded. We were a party of two. The gate opens at 6pm. You are not allowed to enter seating until 6:45. Show started at 7pm. We looked around the gift shop area & decided to buy a drink at the bar. I purchased a hard apple cider drink and I saw a cup with lights that I liked that lite up different colors. Separate price of course. It was so cool. my husband ordered a beer and he ordered a 25 oz mug with the beer it came to $25.00. My souvenir cup with drink included was $18.75. We were in the black and white group. Which was the VIP Queen Royalty. It came with two pictures. A lanyard and of course your crown. It was a good package deal. If you are affiliated with the military. You get a nice discount on the tickets. We arrived so early that we were seated on the first row. So good for that. Now on to the food. Everything was pippin hot. My chicken was seasoned well. Nice and juicy. I enjoyed it. As well as the corn on the cob. Which was very sweet. I enjoyed the bread. Didn't care for the flavor of the tomato soup. I'm picky with that. It gets a little messy eating with your hands. So keep that in mind and I was told you can request utensils. The water and non alcohol refreshments were included. Didn't much care for the desserts. One was a slice of a birthday cake coated with candy and the other was a mini chocolate eclaire. Our sever was super nice. We were seated at table two. I really enjoyed the show. Very entertaining. Definitely glad we finally checked it out.

My Line Sisters and I wanted to come up with a unique way to celebrate our anniversary. We had done the usual dinner and movie, sip & paint, wine tastings, and restaurant hopping. To commemorate this year, we decided to go with TMMC and it was the best choice we could have made. We booked a private event with them. We had the opportunity to select our mystery based on the number of participants. We opted to do a one actor mystery centering around a masquerade ball. The actor arrived early to our private venue with such a fun and positive attitude. He took the time to understand our dynamics which was helpful in designating who would play which roles. We were provided props that included costumes and information about the role we were chosen to play. Please note, we are a chatty, free spirited group of ladies that love to fellowship. The actor managed to go with the flow and keep us somewhat focused and on mission...which was to solve the murder. We had a five-star good time. We all left with plans to do it again. If you want to do something outside the box with a get together of friends, colleagues, or family, I highly recommend TMMC. I wish I could show pics of the fun we had. Happy murder solving!

While scouring for a team building event for work, we decided to reach out to this company. Their website is forthcoming with a ton of information, but they were helpful on the backend of things. Purchasing tickets was easy, and it's great that tickets were available until the day of the event. I have never been to one of these things before but was kind of exciting. I have heard that it can be cheesy or campy, but I'm up for the camp. Who doesn't love dinner and a show? We had a large group, around 40 people or so and with prior warning they were able to make it work where our whole group sat in a designated area. That also kind of played into the whole way this played out. Before you come here they will send you an email with information on how to proceed. You will get confirmation numbers after you select your meal. Chicken, fish, or vegetarian are your choices. They also tell you that the actors will be intermingled throughout the crowd. Having four tables taken up by your group cuts down on who the actors are and helps you out in the end. The show is entertaining. I laughed a few times to the point where I had heads turn my way. The actors were spot on for their script and at the end of each act, which you should pay attention to, you are given a QR code to go through the clues. As the show is going on you are treated to a meal. But it is not obviously the best selection of food. As this is being hosted at a hotel, you are eating hotel food that you might find if you attended a banquet at said hotel. It fits the bill for dinner and a movie, but otherwise, nothing to write home about. Back to the show portion. I forgot to mention that you have a mingling session at the start. You are encouraged to go around the room and network to see if you can get any information on who you might think are the actors before you really know they are an actor. At the end, you get to write down your answers to see if you are right. You most likely will be right, but a majority of the room will probably be right as well. The thing I didn't like about it was that even though you might have the right answer, you most likely will not get picked as the winner at the end of the night. You will most definitely see that the winner will have been sitting at the table with the 'whodunnit' all along. It isn't that bad of a night. It is a great time to be had. You are paying for dinner and a show and that they deliver on. The actors are hilarious, and when they need to attend to business they attend to business. We had one person who needed a vegan option and they pulled through for us at the last minute. I really appreciated that.

I hadn't been in a while and was excited to return -- I'd even told my friend, who had never been, that the food was really good. I have Celiac's disease, and on my last visit, there were several gluten-free options clearly marked on the menu, which I really appreciated. I was disappointed to find that was no longer the case. Our waitress kindly suggested salmon, which wasn't listed on the menu, but unfortunately that's not something I enjoy. I ended up with only an $18 iceberg lettuce salad with tomatoes, shaved carrots, and one boiled egg and without the croutons. I had saved my appetite all day for a real meal out, and left the evening still hungry. I sent an email to the theater the next day asking that they consdier adding a gluten-free option or two and having them clearly marked -- both in the venue and on their online menu. I told them that simple additions like baked chicken, roasted potatoes, and green beans would make a world of difference for guests with dietary restrictions. I sent that email on March 14. Today is March 22 and I haven't heard anything back. I saw some upcoming acts that I'd be interested in and I'd love to go to the theater again, but won't until they've added some gluten-free options.

I've been here twice in November 2014 & November 2023. Funny both times were in the month of November, but 9 years apart. November 2014: I was living in northern VA, and I received free tickets to see Interstellar as this theater had recently opened. My impression in 2014 and still holds true today is that this is the nicest theater I had ever been to. Some theaters have reclining seats, but these are large and you get a blanket if you want. There were some good food options, granted overpriced for what you got, were tasty. I brought a date for those movie showing and paid for our food. I got a burger, and she got a flatbread pizza. Burger was good as I recall. 2017 to coming back here in November 2023: I moved to Maryland in 2017, Wheaton 2017-2020, so wasn't too far from Pike & Rose and did go there sometimes. However, in 2018 I became an AMC A-Lister, so I just go there unless there's a free advanced screening or specific movie I really want to see at Egyptian Cinemark or a Regal that isn't at AMC. In November 2023, iPic held an advanced screening of the Netflix movie, Leave the World Behind. I had 4 tickets, invited several friends. There was a woman I liked who had agreed to go initially, but had an issue with someone else who had promptly responded she would go. Incidentally, the woman who I liked became my girlfriend in February 2024, so it worked out well. Shortly after that she buried the hatchet with that mutual friend. As for the movie screening, while not as great as Interstellar, it was still the same positive experience I remembered from 9 years earlier. Things were chaotic as we were trying to get the food & drink, which was included, but we had to check on the food during the middle of the movie, and I missed the very beginning of the movie as a lot of people did. There was quite a bit of time beforehand, but even with the delays occurring, they should've started the movie late unless there was some late movie showing in that particular theater at 10 PM or something. In summary, this is a very nice theater in spite of a couple of flaws.
