I went to my second music concert in the DMV area at The Recher after meeting Chrystal of Anoxia at The Baltimore Soundstage and getting information about her My Phase Days concert in The Recher in May 2024. It was an amazing concert with many music artists paying homage to bands like Evanescence and Bring Me The Horizon. We saw a lot of local music artists in the Baltimore, Maryland area and started going to see their concerts in the DMV area. January 2025. We visited The Recher to see local music artists we were not familiar with except for one who played in the May 2024 My Phase Days concert. It was also a birthday concert for the Rapolla Entertainment's owner Nic. It was the music entertainment business that promoted both concerts we attended in The Recher. Parking is easy to find at The Recher and is free in the parking garages on the weekend. The Recher is a brief walk away from the parking garage nearby. The concert venue is mid size and very clean for a concert venue. Drink prices are fair. Sound quality is excellent. The music artists we met there are professional, passionate about their music, and amicable. The crowds there have always been easy to navigate and friendly. I enjoyed seeing the posters of well known music artists who performed in The Recher. Looking forward to coming there again. Cheers

The ladies behind us refused to stop talking after be hushed a few times, and a few seats down from us two guys refused to keep quiet either. If this was in Broadway, the ushers would have made them be quiet. Overall I enjoyed the show and the music. I was able to sing along,a since I played a few roles in the play in high school. Recently finished Mike Harris' Intro to Improv 101 course (7 week course)- it was a blast. Had fun and learned a lot. As a student you get to go to all BIG's shows for free which is nice, good learning opportunity. They have various types of improv shows every Thurs-Sat nights, been to several and enjoyed them. Highly recommend taking a course or seeing a show. Am now in Michael Furr's standup comedy class which has been amazing so far. Aesthetics wise, it's no luxury theatre (they rely on donations and grants to stay operating, so this is understandable!) but it gets the job done and is homey. Convenient location near a few local bars. Parking Tip: If attending an evening show, get there early if you want to find easy street parking right out front (cheap, pay via kiosk or Parkmobile app). There's a parking garage across the street that's $5 if you tell them you're there for the theatre.

He was super attentive to his students, encouraged everyone to set their own boundaries and promoted open communication through games and improv. I'm an introvert and this was my first time ever doing something like this. I'm happy I didn't back out at the last minute (like I normally would).

Questioning her is deemed as harassment or bullying. Her fees are mentioned days before due as are her events... ie picture day. With no consideration for parents work schedules or finances. Extremely unprofessional... discussioning other parents affairs no matter the relationship is a no no. Mentioning you're behind on your rent to parents is a red flag. I've almost sent several people to her... grateful I didn't. Great for kids a nightmare for parents.

It was a decent intermediate class and introduction to more traditional ballet and tap. The price is great and you can usually find coupons if hang around downtown Towson events. That being said... Miss Anna is a unique individual. She's quirky, artistic and a little nuts.

To be up front about things Brooke our teacher is also Co-owner, and I think her style and approach bodes well for anyone taking a class from her organization. We were lucky enough to be in a class comprised of only my three family members (one of the benefits of going on Easter ). Judging from the set up they do not overbook their classes like other groups do. And they allow children as young as twelve which the groups who do this in bars and restaurants simply don't. They have a minimum age of twenty one. The instructions were ear and the pace was casual. Brooke was very flexible in working with us, going as far as allowing our daughter to modify the color palette and adjusting her teaching to make sure my daughter got the effect desired. Before we left the next session had been planned so I would have to say we will do it anything. Check out their website they do a large variety of painting and quite a few special events. I recently went to a YELP ELITE event hosted by Painted Palette fell in love with the place and decides this would be a fantastic idea for my birthday. I called looking for something at least 5 weeks in advance. I called left and message and a day goes by I dont receive a call back. So I call again and again and again, I get the voicemail each time. I decide to send a email. I receive a pretty quick response. The day I would like is booked, bummed out a little but hey Im flexible. I request two other dates one date is booked for my alloted time and the other date had a inquiry but the party had not booked as of yet. Well I let Becca know that I would take the date if the other party did not book. She emailed me back, thanked me for my flexibilty and told me she would get back to me ASAP. well this has been the longest ASAP I have ever endured. I have not heard back from her and I actually took the time to stop into the studio to see if the date had actually booked. I Spoke with the co owner who told me she would take down my information give it to Becca and I should hear from her that evening. I really dislike being kept in limbo its very unprofessional, my time is more important than the money I spend. A simple email back or phone call letting me know I had not been forgotten or the date was booked is all I needed. Anyway I booked with another company, My Birthday "Paint nite Baltimore" will still go on. Ladies if you do happened to read this, I think you have a great concept and I really did enjoy the Elite event, however your follow ups and response to phone calls definitely need some improving.

There was no structure on explain music they'd tell you to do something and completely stop helping you and expect to remember and know what your doing.
