I have worked with most of the therapists there and, they all know their stuff and adjust my therapy based on my condition on that day. The staff at the counter are top-notch also. Scheduling and adjusting schedules are always met with understanding smiles. If there is a downside, although very small, there never seems to be donuts for patients. (Inside joke) . Valerie has been very helpful--I accidentally messed up my hand spint/brace that they made me when I slipped on ice. Valerie was able to see me later that afternoon and repair it for me, and I had been then earlier in the day for therapy! I love tye paraffin wax hand dip and the hand massage! That seems to really help loosen my hand up. Four weeks of occupational therapy, and I see massive improvement in my use and strength since surgery mid December. Another great feature for me is its not far from our home! The receptionist, Deneesha, is a sweetheart. She always greets you with a smile. I did use the ice machine and the leg machine which I loved it. Made me push myself up to 100% for speed and 120 for the bend. The girls I had worked hard with me and they just couldn't believe that I did so well with it. It pays to work hard I have no limp and I'm very happy with the turn out. Often the available staff members know very little about your loved ones condition, it's impossible to talk to a doctor and the nurses change so much that they don't usually know much. They are quite nice though and that's good. The facility is old and dirty. The floor in my sister's room was never cleaned in the three weeks she was there. Bloody, dirty linens were left sitting around in a pile for three days until a family member said something. The worst thing was that they took almost 4 full days to sign off on her passing, exceeding the 48 hour time limit and holding up the process of moving forward with her remains. This is ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE! If you can go elsewhere, DO!
