Everyone was super friendly with great recommendation, and were happy to share their experiences. Always gotta love employees who knows what they're talking about. Been coming here since they opened in my neighborhood. They have continually fired staff for 2 years - which is not a long time if you have a business. Every person who I have ever encountered here up until last week was awesome. Now, they YET AGAIN fired everyone. When I walked to the store the other night, I was very confused about what was going on. Was told in a very rude, hostile and AGRESSIVE manner that whether I liked it or not there is a new staff and I can come there or not. My state issued ID was not valid??? That makes no sense, it was issued by the DMV and is valid and is also taken by every other dispensary and government owned place in the state. Given the amount of turn over and now that this place has 17 year olds who don't know the laws and running the place, I'm never coming here again. read more

Found out one of the edible containers was completely empty. They said I could exchange if I brought it back - I was a bit outside the return window but they said they would accommodate. Keep that in mind. So I got 2 of those 1/8ths and 1g cartridge of wax from ELITE for $45. From those 3 things I got, I paid $132!!!!! FYI, that "get one for a penny" is bs. Scamming people w/ Misrepresented THC % Content!!! Sales person sells me on this 24% THC Sativa telling me how strong it is. It's $57 for an 1/8 (3.5 grams) I buy it. Way overpriced but ok. They hand it to me in a sealed black pouch that says 24% THC on it (just like the sales person said and iPad display showed). I arrive home to open the sealed pouch and inside on actual jar/packaging it's clearly marked 20% THC!? I call MedMen back and I get Nick on the phone who says it's no big deal! It's probably just a misprint happens all the time but if I want I can come get a refund. I drive all the way back to downtown to get my refund. I tell the associate at the front door I need to make a return. First she says they can't do that but after hearing the problem she starts to apologize because that's not right and points out Manager Man Bun Nick. Nick looks at the THC % and sees it doesn't match and proceeds to tell me that he knows he told me he could refund me on the phone but can't really do that. He did apologize and said he would make it right by giving me 20% off of another $50 purchase. So, their solution to ripping me off is to have me spend another $50 to get 20% off of a product that who knows what it will actually be when I get home!? As a manager Nick probably knew he couldn't give me a refund but had me drive an hour each way for $10 off $50 of weed?! That's less than my gas back and forth. I came to MedMen because they are building this brand of upscale pot shop meets apple store environment. I know they are expensive as hell but I wanted to try and get some really good weed and see if it's worth it. Well, I'll save you all the trouble, it's not worth it. The shop may be clean and have 20 employees but you're not getting high end product. All you're buying is overpriced weed from a corporation trying to make as much profit as possible. They don't care about you, your high, your wallet; just their profits! Ps. Just go to a regular weed shop! You'll get twice as much weed of a better quality and have a better experience. Latest incident was being guided towards purchasing a certain product by an employee and found after opening the box it was the completely the wrong item. I've been to MedMen previously in Las Vegas. It's always a good, clean store, full of helpful people. They offer a variety of recreational items from flower, papers, pre-rolls, batteries, chargers, edibles, CBD and several other options. The counts are all written on the products. The flower you can smell prior to purchasing. Any questions, their staff will help you feel comfortable whether it's your first time buying or your 100th. I came in here as it was close to my hotel. I wanted to get a cartridge. The associate had told me that this cartridge I wanted doesn't work w/ all batteries. He went on to say that you cannot return any items. I returned later that day w/ my battery. Another associate helped me. He took my battery to match it up w/ one of the opened cartridge. When he came back he said he couldn't find a cartridge to test it, but his boss said it would work. I then proceeded to buy the cartridge that I was looking to get. I got back to my hotel and realized it didn't fit. I was pretty upset as now I couldn't return this item. I returned the next day looking to speak w/ a manager. The associate that greeted me wanted to hear my story. So I explained. She then asked to see the battery and cartridge. She took the cartridge and showed me that there was something I had to unscrew. I felt like a dumb dumb. I hadn't used a cartridge w/ a battery where I had to unscrew it. It was simply plug and play. I thanked her for her time and let her know that's some helpful information newbies/veterans could use. The staff is uber friendly and eager to help. Love the selection. I've been coming to this place solely for the last 2 years, and they haven't done me dirty at all. Staff is super helpful with any substitutions if what I want is out, and until recently the locals discount program with them was sooo good, i think it really did a service to them because it was packed with local DTLA customers getting more product. The worst. Don't use the pandemic for your constant cancellation of delivery orders. If you have too many orders to deliver, just close off that option online. Don't leave people hanging for over an hour, and then send a cancellation email -- a text or call sooner would be appreciated. To be fair this is simply what I think and feel after visiting for the first time... I think the flower is over priced. Was pretty disappointed that everything is prepackaged. No first time patient deals. & I had to pay 3 different types of taxes which amounted to a little over $50 (in taxes alone!) Will I visit again? I won't say I never will again, but will definitely not make the extra drive anytime soon due to their prices and taxes.... Employees were great! It's especially hard to pick vape cartridges for my husband, but Alex helped me locate Indica and Sativa, avoiding hybrids, in flavors that fit what I'm looking for. I don't think I was standing dumbfounded at the Heavy Hitters wall for more than 10 seconds before Alex was there to help. Honestly was very unhappy experience. Went in store for an exchange of an moldy gummy that I bought last week. It's exchange for the same exact item. The guy told me that how they do it is they have to sell it back to me for $1+ taxes (which ended being total $3). He said it's their policy blah blah blah. It's not the guys fault (I think) since he said it's their policy...but what kinda f*ed up policy is this? I paid taxes on the original order already. For an exchange that it's not my fault, they make me buy the item for $1+taxes. Well...how come they don't refund me the original taxes then? Had a great experience here from the check in service and everyone who spoke with me at different sections of the store. So much information and checking on you to see if you need help or recommendations. This place makes you feel like weed is legal, compared to some of the other dark/anxiety ridden/sketchy/mean-hot-girl options I've visited nearby. They even offered to let me park my bike inside so I didn't have to sweat it getting messed with on the street, since there wasn't a bike rack within eyesight.
