Super awesome find! Happened to be desperate for some food and stumbled upon this place before adventuring into the National Park. Our group ordered 3 different pizzas, the Brie bites, and the cheese and charcuterie platter. Great service, good food, and living this little spots set up! Overall a pretty good experience. Servers were kind and the food was generally good. A few points of improvement: we had chips and salsa (spicy). It was more of a medium and the chunks were pretty big and broke the chips so the tomatoes could have been chopped a little more finely. The Thai pizza was pretty good overall. I thought it could have used more peanut sauce and my boyfriend thought it could have used more spice, which I would agree with. But it was really good still. The atmosphere was really awkward though. The room itself looked really cool and everything was clean but there was inaudible music that made it so everyone else in the space could hear our conversation. This made it seem more like one giant meal with strangers. My advice: turn up the music and the spice-- then you'll be cooking with fire. read more

This was the perfect place to stop on our quick drive through Medora. We shared the hummus selection and the cheese and charcuterie slate. The hummus was delicious and the naan bites were perfect. My wife and I stopped for an early dinner on 4th of July weekend. Given the glowing reviews on Yelp, this was the biggest disappointment of our 2 week trip of the Dakotas. We ended up thinking we must be in the wrong place! Unfortunately, that was not the case! Since there was only one couple in the dining area, we were allowed to select our own table. It was subsequently wiped down but no setup was provided until after our food arrived. The waitress was friendly, but we were not welcomed, or offered water. She presented menus as she asked if we knew what we wanted drink. I suppose locals come in already familiar with the options, but we were not. I ordered a "Classic" Moscow Mule and my wife ordered an Arnold Palmer. The Moscow mule tasted strange and unlike any MM I've had, perhaps the brand of ginger beer? The waitress did not know what an "Arnold Palmer" was. My wife explained, but what she got was a glass of bottled tea with something lemony that was not lemonade. The limited menu was expected, and we selected a large wedge salad which a Yelper recommended and a Margarita Pizza which, because of its simplicity, I find is a good test of ingredients and dough in a pizza. The lettuce in the salad was cold, fresh and crispy, but the top leaf was wilted and had not been removed prior to adding the small amount of ranch dressing (blue cheese dressing was not an option). The toppings; tomatoes, scallions, croutons, bacon and blue cheese crumbles, were very tasty. The pizza was the biggest disappointment. The crust was like lavash and the sauce and cheese tasted like what you would find on a store-bought frozen pizza. We were very hungry, so we ate most of the pizza, but still left a couple pieces from a medium-size pizza. Perhaps the regular staff was off for the 4th of July weekend; although, that doesn't really explain the pizza. I can't explain it, but luckily I won't have occasion to eat there again. Fantastic Service! Great meal! We arrived in Medora with little time for dinner before the Medora Musical (which is awesome BTW). We called Uncork'd and asked if they would be able to take care of our family of 6 in time for the musical. They said yes and were waiting for us at the door when we pulled up. Three people quickly brought us drinks, talked us through the menu and helped us select a variety of options that could be prepared quickly. The food was all fresh, healthy and delicious. Was in town for a conference, glad I found this outstanding wine bar on the main drag. Excellent wine list and small bites. I tried the blueberry barbecue meatball flatbread (optional as a pizza for larger groups) on the recommendation of several in our group, and it was outstanding. Service was excellent, cupcakes in a jar were a hit with others in the group, and the atmosphere was conducive to great conversation. Whether you need a break from Medora's overriding cowboy theme or just want a delicious snack and a glass of wine, I highly recommend Medora Uncork'd. read more

Wonderful eating experience. Just an out of the way space that serves some of the best flatbreads and pizzas around. Have a great wine and beer list...most are local beers. The wedge salads are full of flavor as well. Had the blueberry wedge...great layers of flavors...the bbq meatball flatbread is sweet and spicy and is a wonderful bite. I think this was our third or fourth visit to Uncorked--so obviously we enjoy it. The atmosphere is wonderful, they have a nice selection of wines (order a flight if you're not sure what you might like) and craft beer as well as regular domestics, what looked to me to be a fully stocked bar (we rarely drink liquor so I'm no expert), and good food. In the past we've had the flatbread pizza which was excellent. This time we had the charcuterie platter that was also excellent, and the service was fast, attentive, and super friendly. The decorating is modern and very nicely done, but cowboys like my husband and his friends also enjoy it very much. I understand they are adding at least one more room for larger parties and weddings, and they will be moving the wine/conversation area a bit which will be nice. I believe they will also have enough area for live music. We can't wait to go back for more badlands trail riding and upcoming special events at Uncorked, and for us that's a 340 mile one way trip! read more

I spent last summer in Medora and found Medora Uncorked to be an oasis in the heart of the rugged ND Badlands. The atmosphere is comfortable and lively, especially in the summertime. Staff is super awesome! Despite being new in town, I always felt welcome and right at home there. I have only positive experiences at Medora Uncorked. While dining there, I had the opportunity to have amazing conversations with people from all over the Globe. I will always have the memory of seeing my favorite NBA team win a championship there, which the staff was kind enough to put on for me. Try a variety of creative dishes, like their blueberry meatball pizza (it sounds bizarre, but some how it works really well and is surprisingly delicious) or get a pizza "Mitch-style" with the pepperoni underneath the cheese. The menu options pair nicely with with a variety of fine wines, signature cocktails, and ice cold craft beers. If you ever find yourself in Medora, give Medora Uncorked a try. You can't go wrong!
