Eventually my refills were gone and it was time to bite the bullet. A friend recommended Dr. Lipperd, so I called to make an initial appointment. First, I was really happy that this is basically a stand alone location with a private lot. No parking decks, elevators, or long hallways to deal with. The waiting room was pretty crowded, but everyone seemed to be called in a timely manner. I met with a nurse, a nurse practitioner, and then Dr. Lipperd. All three were friendly and seemed to actually care. After discussing my medical history and current and past medications, I felt VERY comfortable with the entire group. I feel like she is personally interested in my health and satisfaction with every visit. I look forward to seeing her. My children have seen Suzanne Vickers, the PA. She is very good at what she does and has the sweetest way with kids. She always remembers us and we chat like old friends when we see her. We've seen Dr. Glick just once, but she was very professional too. The staff have been helpful and courteous. We had some issues when our insurance didn't want to cover one medication but the staff worked it out for me by submitting a prior authorization form (my prescription insurance can be difficult to work with so I appreciate the way they handled it). I've been so many times that I can't give an actual number and we are usually called back to see the doctor after waiting from 0-15 minutes past the appointment time. I think most doctors' offices are like that. Once, we had to wait an hour, but that has never happened again (I guess everyone has a bad day). When you go, wear a sweater (even in the summer) because the waiting room is really cold! I'd recommend Dr. Groysman and her staff to anyone who needs a caring and thorough dermatologist.

I was prescribed an eczema ointment without being seen in person, and after using it, my pain became so severe I went to the ER. The next day, despite the ER advising me to contact my dermatologist immediately, I was told to wait until Monday. I sought a second opinion that same day and was diagnosed with a superficial staph infection that required immediate treatment. This situation was dangerous and poorly handled by Cahaba Dermatology. I was very disappointed by the lack of patient care, access to a medical provider when I needed one, and clear communication throughout this experience.

They offer both homeopathic medicines as well the standard medications. Dr. Jimmeh (who sadly left during COVID) was the most knowledgeable and helpful, she was one of the best pain/neurologist doctors I've seen ever. The staff is always helpful, and easy to work with, Especially when BC/BS messes with medication coverage. Sadly after Dr. Jimmeh left I was put with another doctor, him and I didn't see eye to eye and my confidence in the Doleys clinic lagged. I may have left but I would still very much recommend them as one of the few good pain clinics in the Birmingham area. Just remember, although you are a patient, you are also a customer, so don't be afraid to be assertive and ask questions of your doctors. You will get the best care when you do.

6 stars! I cannot…read moresay enough good things about this man and his practice. First of all, he's ALWAYS on time, which is absolutely unheard of for a doctor. When I visit other doctors, I think I'm doing good when I get in only 30 minutes after my appt time. He's personable, funny and has a spectacular bedside manner. He has a fantastic personality and a great attitude. He makes you feel at ease which is a pretty big feat for a man who is about to stick a huge needle in your back. I have had back pain for 7 years. I had an MRI about 2 years ago that showed L4 and L5 are partially herniated. I told the doctor how much pain I was in, and she refused to do anything except refer me to a physical therapist (I had already been to physical therapy on and off for THREE years with no relief) because "I really shouldn't have any pain at all since I only have slight nerve impingement." Btw, this was Dr. Cherie Miner at St. Vincent's. Do not go to see her! A few weeks later the pain got so bad that I could barely walk. My dad suggested I go to a chiropractor, and the chiropractor referred me to Dr. Beretta. I started seeing Dr. Beretta for epidurals in September 2013. Even though I moved to Nashville in August 2014, I continue to make the 3 hour drive every 12 weeks to have the procedure performed by him. This man has changed my life. I'm able to exercise and dance again, oh and walk, which is pretty important!
